Overall good. We got the super nachos, but for the price there's not much to them. We added the chicken so it cost extra. I will say that the salsa has a good spice to it, which isn't normal when you go to Mexican food places. They're generally pretty bland, but this one actually had spice. We would definitely come here again. read more

The food was spectacular! My friend and I each had four street tacos off the Happy Hour Menu. Oh, so delicious! The restaurant has a very nice ambiance with the furniture and colors so vivid! And the service was exceptional! Juan was so very patient and polite with us. He answered our questions and gave several suggestions since we were undecided on our choice. Thank you, Juan! We will definitely be there again! read more

What can I say? I'm a sucker for a plate of hot Mexican food that comes out fast and with a smile. Los 2 Agaves delivers this and then some. Admittedly, I love a deal and kids eat free here on Mondays, so we take advantage. Now that we've been a few times, I'll say their fajitas, carne asada and enchiladas are muy rico. The service is always friendly and fast, and the interior is cozy and fits right in with small town Oregon. Make sure you get something that has the handmade tortillas, yum! read more

Finally found good Mexican in Oregon! Service was very good. Best mole I've had in ages. Top notch restaurant

Walking in I expected average Mexican food, that's heavy, greasy, and less about the vibrant Mexican flavors I love. A typical Mexican American type experience. I am ecstatic to share that my experience was not like that at all. The environment was casual, and similar to many Mexican restaurants. With some decor that supported local sports. It had a sports bar, meets typical Mexican restaurant vibe. With welcoming, chill, and extremely helpful wait staff. I butchered the name of my dish, and she politely said it for me multiple times as I tried to grasp how to make my mouth make the correct sounds. What stands out though was the food we ordered. I'm not a fan of HUGE portion sizes, but ai was happy to take home extra food to snack on for days ahead. The price is well worth the portion size alone. The flavor of the food was fresh, vibrant, a bit spicy, and delicious. Just absolutely fantastic. The complimentary chips, beans, and salsa were tasty. The salsa a little spicier than most places. The sides of beans and rice were on par with other restaurants, would have preferred a different cheese on the beans (not worth changing my stars). If you take a look at the pics the food was pretty to look at. The flavor was bold. And we will most definitely come back! As a gastric bypass patient I appreciate that my meal was mostly meat, and perfectly cooked steak, chicken, shrimp, and cheese. Yum! The deep fried ice cream was delicious and the Oreo was an added bonus for my son. He loved his tacos, and ate every last bit! Going back soon! read more

Been there lots of times and highly recommended it. Lots of choices in Canby for Mexican food but this is our go to place. We order chicken fajitas and it's plenty for two people. Go check them out. read more

After going to the rock show in Canby, we decided to go out for lunch. Los 2 agave just happened to be close so we thought we'd give it a try. The atmosphere is brightly decorated making it very cheery. The service was good. We waited by the door for a little bit and had a couple people pass us without greeting us but, once we were seated, our server was attentive. As standard practice, you are served chips and salsa, los to agave's also provide you with spicy refried beans and a small cabbage slaw. The beans were excellent with your chips. My husband truly enjoyed his shredded beef chimney Changa . I had the chicken tacos, which were good, but pretty close to the same flavor as most restaurants. The portions are big as well as the prices. I had quite a bit of my drink remaining, so I requested it to go cup, which I never received. All In all great atmosphere good service, large portions and large price. Enjoy. read more

Ate here this afternoon and got food poisoning. I thought the tostado shell tasted stale or maybe like old oil was used so I ate some of the toppings instead. Only ate a few bites. About 10-15 minutes later I started to get bad stomach cramps and have been in the bathroom for the past hour. No bueno. read more

Tasty lunch with the family after walking around the tulip festival. We stopped in Canby and enjoyed this little Mexican restaurant with so many great things on the menu it was hard to choose! The table ordered mixed tacos, shrimp enchiladas, seafood burrito, carne asada salad and pollo a la crema burrito. We were all very content with our choices and would definitely come back to this place. read more

well, I'll start by. It was my son's 34 birthday and he chose this restaurant to eat, it was on Cinco de Mayo 2026 when arriving waiter took drink orders and then we watched other arrive to where sooner or later the building was filled with people. This was at a 1 1/2 hour timeframe still waiting on our drinks to arrive and had to ask the to get our waiter to see if they were coming. .... About 10 minutes later our drinks arrive and food follows roughly at the two hour , I do understand it was Cinco de Mayo. The problem is we were there before all the other guest and all of them were their food and leaving before we even got our drink order !!!!! so I reached out to the manager the next day he was not in so I left my info for him to give me a call and phone number and he could call tomorrow ... Needless to say never heard from the manager so I return a call back to the restaurant so I could talk to him. about the service that we had that evening, which was horrible not just the in the food coming late, but we even asked for some chips and salsa which we never received! And like I said it was my son's birthday not once. Did they acknowledge after the waiter asked me when we arrived if we were celebrating something as he seen a gift in my hand and I said my son's birthday and he says well I will remember So after speaking to the manager about the situation and the horrible service we received when I him on the phone, he replies well you don't understand it was Cinco de Mayo, which I do understand I told him what I didn't understand is why everyone else had their food and drinks before we even received our drinks and he just said well I don't know what to say. You don't understand you just don't get it what do you want from me at that point I said nothing I will make a review on yelp.!!!!!! And never eat here again as they don't care about their customers. I am also a small business owner and I would never treat my clients in this manner!!! read more

My boyfriend and I went for a later dinner around 8, they close at 10. As soon as we walked in we caught a little bit of an attitude from th host, it seemed like we were going in 10 mins before close. Our main waitress was lovely but it took some time to get service. Once the food came, my shrimp tacos had a bit of a sour/funky flavor to them. And my drink tasted a bit old. My boyfriends food was good, not great. His mojito was the highlight of the dinner. It was disappointing to not enjoy it and then pay close to $90 for it. I completely understand a slow weeknight staff and maybe not having the best ingredients at times but I just wanted other people to know. read more

Have been here multiple times. We love the food and beer is cold. Simply put all is great except the margaritas. Our last order was a take out meal for 7 couples. Good, solid food from a family-run operation. It's our local go-to for this cuisine in Canby!

We stopped in here for a weeknight dinner. The restaurant wasn't crowded. It took about 5-10 minutes to get seated. We received chips, salsa, and beans fairly quickly and that's where we were left hanging. Our server didn't come back for a very long time. Everything from then on took a VERY long time. When we finally got our food the entrees came out before the tortilla soups that we ordered as appetizers. It was impossible to get drink refills. The food is simply OK. It wasn't terrible but it's wasn't really good either. The tortilla soup that we eventually received was NOT good at all! I wouldn't ever recommend ordering it. It was flavorless and very watered down. It was just plain unappetizing. Although the restaurant itself is a nice setting and appears clean it's not a place I would come back to due to the service and underwhelming food. Since our server never came back to our table after serving our food we had to eventually gather our things and walk up to the front to tell them we were ready to leave. We then had to wait again for the server to go print a ticket in order for us to pay. I hope others have a better service experience than we had. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch. Service was fast and friendly. Family restaurant with colorful casual decor looks like a great place to grab margaritas/drinks after work or group parties. Ample booths and large table service available. Food was hot and flavorful & it was nice that they bring complimentary warm chips, salsa and a small appi plate of warm beans and pickled slaw as soon as you are seated. Portions are generous and with the appetizers beforehand, difficult to clean your plate. If you're not famished you could split a meal and have room for dessert. Appreciated the friendly atmosphere & would return if in the neighborhood again. read more

Best Birria tacos I've ever eaten! Great fresh food. Always friendly servers. Worth the price for an excellent meal.

Our date night place for Mexican food in Canby. They changed the name however the food and service are there same top notch quality I've come to expect. We came here with our daughter. I tried the tres chilli's dish. Green and red chilli beef with a mild stuffed chilli in between. The beef was tender, tasty and mild amount of heat. The stuffed chilli was a great pairing, lightly breaded, the cheese filling was hot, mild, and a good texture. The wife had the Al Pastor burrito. The meat wasn't greasy or soft, it had the slight crispy edge you should expect with true bbq. The daughter had chicken mole, and all things considered, feels it compares favorably with the better Mexican food she gets in her home town of Dallas. The chips are served hot and fresh, the salsa is mild and they also bring a small plate of refried beans. I haven't noticed their salsa bar earlier, I did sample some of the green salsa from there on this trip and it added a great kick to my food. The seats are comfortable, the place is clean, service is friendly and quick. Three of us got out of there for $60 with tip, not bad for the experience we had. I think you'll like it if you appreciate authentic Mexican food. They have an extensive bar list however we didn't try it this time out. read more

Service was a little spotty (it took forever to get the bill), but I will ignore that because the food was everything I had hoped for. I have gone to physical therapy across the street for nearly a year, and have wanted to try this place that whole time. I took family who are not Mexican food fans, and all of us loved what we had. First of all, the margaritas are delicious and humongous! Order one! Secondly, the mole enchiladas? YES! I will go back. This place is a keeper. read more

Los 2 Agaves - Order a margarita! - Mexican Near Me - Canby, Oregon

They had me with the Margarita! I was visiting from out of town, so I have only been one time. It was a very hot day. We sat outside. The indoor decor was cute - fun painted designs on the chairs, as we walked by. There were 3 of us, and we all enjoyed our meals. But, the highlight was the strawberry & mango margaritas we ordered -- they were huge, delicious, and perfect on a hot day! It took quite a while to get our bill, and I had been without water for a while, so service could have been better, but, since it was a social outing, and the drinks cooled us down, with tasty food, we were more than satisfied for our one visit. read more

We had a wonderful lunch here yesterday. The giant warm basket of chips were thin and crisp and served with yummy salsa and refried beans with a little cabbage slaw like thing that was really good with it. I had a cheese and onion enchilada and a chicken chalupa. Loved it! And my husband had a Bacon wrapped shrimp salad (I forgot the name) that was delicious! The place is cute and cozy and the service was on point. We had been looking for a place like this for a long time and can't wait to go back for dinner and try a margarita. read more

Almost everything about this experience was BAD. It was the worst service we have ever received at any restaurant. The only good part of this was the decor. This was our first and only time trying this restaurant. Immediately upon walking in, we stood in the entry way while three staff members conversed for about two minutes with each other. Once we were seated (in the bar, which was very well decorated), we thought, okay, this looks like a cool place. Salsa and chips were great too. Then it quickly took a nose dive. We ordered two waters and two alcoholic beverages. Both of our drinks were made incorrectly. One was so bad, that it had to be sent back and remade. It was prepared wrong, and then tasted watered down. The food had an odd flavor to the sauce. She ordered an enchilada and I had steak fajitas. The fajitas had a sauce on them (which I hadn't seen before), and the sauce tasted like a shrimp flavor to it. My water never got refilled, our salsa never got refilled. Every time we needed something, we noticed that the bartender was chatting with other staff members. There was also a table in the bar that 4 to 5 employees gathered and had a potluck style dinner. We had to get up and walk into the restaurant to flag someone down to get more salsa, and then again to get our bill. The staff was completely inattentive. read more

Very quick and friendly servers. The appetizer came out quick but it wasn't the best ceviche we ever had . The avocado on it tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. I wouldn't get that again. The pozole however was so good!! I would definitely go back just to have the pozole especially on a cold day! The bowl was huge I had a bunch left over for my lunch the next day! The margarita didn't disappoint either! It was hit and strong! I love the takin around the rim that was my favorite. read more

This place is an absolutely terrible business. I have eaten here every day - and sometimes multiple times a day for the last few months. The food almost always comes wrong even though the instructions are simple, clear, and the same every time - I have only continued to order due to severe food allergies and being limited what I can eat. This last time was my last straw - not only because they, once again, got the order wrong and ignored the instructions, but because when confronted about it by the DoorDasher picking the order up, they were hostile (the Dasher's words) and rude, refusing to correct the order. I have complained about getting cheese/the wrong order, etc. multiple times and asked to have it put in notes since I order the same thing over and over, but they still send it. I've even attached a pic to show the instructions are on the receipt. This will be the last time I ever order from them again and would highly suggest you never order or eat here, as well. If there was a rating in the negatives I'd give it to them. read more

Los 2 Agaves - Dasher complaining about the hostile "jerk" employee at Los Dos Amigos. - Mexican Near Me - Canby, Oregon

This is kind of an update on an earlier review. Initially I thought the food was mediocre and the prices high. Since then I've tried it a couple more times. My opinion of the food is a little better than before, I'd bump the food quality up to a 4. But pretty much every time I've been there the staff and managers have been a blend of indifferent to flat out rude. They made me feel like I was kind of putting them out by walking in. Kind of a "here's your food, now eat and get out" feeling. Same high prices though. I'm done. read more

Yum! Stopped by after the pumpkin patch and had a great meal, excellent service and left with full tummies. It doesn't look like a place that would have authentic food, but don't judge by the logo or the lack of a wait! It was a sit down restaurant, so if you want a drive thru, you should go to El Chilito across the street. We tried: Chips and Salsa: comes for free for one round, then charged for it. It comes with tasty warm chips, good salsa and bean dip Kids plate: Quesadilla, came with rice and beans; quantity is enough for an adult meal Al pastor chalupa: tasty flour crust and flavorful meat Enchiladas: mole was really Good! Peanut flavored and smoky. All in all, a good find! Service was attentive and they were kind. read more
