cinnamon roll - apple fritter - carrot cake - bread pudding - raisin cinnamon roll (instagram: @issa.cheatday)

Wednesday 8/14/2024 I've had this spot on my list since last year and now I'm finally able to try it. The customer service was very good: the lady working was nice and friendly. I ended up getting a cinnamon roll, apple fritter, carrot cake, bread pudding, and raisin cinnamon roll for a total of $18 which is pretty good pricing if you ask me. - The cinnamon roll was MASSIVE and decent. My lil cousin had some of it and he really enjoyed it. - The Apple fritter was also MASSIVE and quite decent as well. - The Carrot cake was hyped up very much by the lady working as she proclaimed it as having the best cream cheese icing but I gotta strongly disagree with her on that. The carrot cake was a bit of disappointment as it was just average and the cream cheee wasn't anything special. - The Bread pudding was solid but nothing impressive as I've had better. - The Raisin cinnamon roll was underwhelming when I first had it: the bread was dense instead of soft but it did taste a bit better when warmed up tho. Overall, this was a solid bakery experience with many baked goods at pretty good prices presented by good service. If I was ranking everything I had I would say: 1a: cinnamon roll 1b: apple fritter 3: bread pudding 4: carrot cake 5: raisin cinnamon roll

I loveeee their huge apple fritters. Not so much of their regular donuts. It might not be sweet enough for me! Definitely always get the apple fritters. And their pineapple upside down single portion is not bad either.

Went back again and got another set of pastries. The cheese danish was too subtle for my taste, I wanted there to be more on the inside. The apple fritter was amazing warmed up some especially when you got a nice chunk of apple. Service was lovely as always.

Went this morning and I must agree with another user that the cheese danish is underwhelming. I came for the bear claw but was told that's out of stock. I will return to try other pastries another day. There was a lady that seemed really nice to regulars and a helpful young boy.

Visiting my parents this weekend & stopped on our way in from the airport. WORTH THE STOP!! We got 8 good sized pastries from here for $16. Seriously the size of my head. Great prices. Friendly staff. :)

Food looked great but the staff is extremely rude. After the rude comment from the staff we opted to walk out rather than buy anything.

We got the Ube Loaded Cake, Ube Cream Puff, Ube Fatty Cookies, and Ube Blondie. Everything was amazing and, next time, we will definitely get more. Our favorite was the Ube Loaded Cake. While there…read moreis no shortage of great filipino food in NYC, this place does something quite special which is hard to find - merging authentic filipino flavors in a well-crafted, delicious and new way. Everything I've had here is delicious, but here are some of my favorites: UBE BLONDIES *** Probably one of their most signature items that stays on the menu season to season, this crumbly, satisfyingly dense, soft baked good with that nice punch of ube flavor will really have you coming back for more. The frosting glaze is just perfect, adding that sweetness that carries the ube flavor really nicely. The texture is just soooo satisfying, you can just tell when you cut your fork through it that it has this airy, yet dense and crumbly texture. TURON FRITTER Kind of like an apple fritter, but oh so crumbly, delicious, bright, and soft on the inside. Also had their brown sugar boba pudding cup when it came out, and it was really good; the tapioca actually blended quite nicely and was chewy and fresh, which means you're not stuck chewing it forever. Definitely on the sweeter side, but brown sugar items tend to be that way.

They have a board with daily specials and a display where you can see what your roll will look like. The service is fast and friendly. It's much more of a to-go shop, rather than sit in which is fine with me. I paid $5.62 and was met with a rude attitude from the young man at the counter. He abruptly told me they "only give small cups now," with no explanation or courtesy. On previous visits, I received a much larger portion, so this sudden change--paired with poor customer service--was frustrating and unacceptable. The inconsistency alone is enough to make you question the value. This place is already overpriced, but I could overlook that if the service was pleasant. Unfortunately, it's not. The attitude and lack of professionalism made the entire experience unpleasant. I came because I enjoyed it before--but this experience is exactly why I won't be returning. I strongly suggest others avoid this establishment unless you're okay with paying more for less and being treated poorly.

I especially love the ham and Gruyère croissant and even ordered them to be served for my birthday last year. The service is efficient and kind and the atmosphere is super chill. I love stopping here when I'm in the area and want a pick me up. My most recent visit I decided to take my friend here after we grabbed coffee at Fr8 house a few minutes away. We opted to get a whole pizza and went for the Brisket and Blue which had fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, smoked beef brisket, basil, pickled red onion, and green chili jam. The pizza was incredible. It had a great bite, slightly crispy, super savory with a touch of sweetness and the brisket was the savory star of the show. I added a bit of red pepper flake and it took it from a 9 to a 9.5 dare I say 10. I highly recommend checking this bakery out whether it's something as simple as a cookie or croissant or the whole pizza. There is something for everyone.

The place inside is very cute and reminds me of a nice punk pop bar. The bar wraps around and there's some tables and a side table that we sat at to eat. It jiggled when I tapped it and the side salad tasted great with dill in it and it brightened up things. The combination of both was great. The crust on the quiche was nice as well. My spouse enjoyed their sandwich but didn't realize there was mustard so he ended up just using the chips to eat his egg and sausage. His egg was also fluffy.
