Beef Dumplings
Jeslyn X.

Ordered the Kabob Lover Group Platter - $99 for 4-5 people was not a bad deal, actually even good enough for 6 people. The beef was a bit dry, the lamb was good, and the chicken, though a bit hard, was better than the beef. The platter came with two plates of rice and a whole basket of naan. But I don't understand why there were fries placed in the middle of the plate - it felt out of place where something representing the cuisine should have been. The Beef Dumplings were tasty. They were covered with yogurt sauce and chickpeas, and tasted good. The service was good; the staff had a good attitude. The place was spacious, though the side door to the patio was locked, so we had to use the main entrance every time. Food (quality, creativity, consistency) - 3.5/5 Drinks (quality, variety) - NA/5 Ambience (interior design, cleanliness) - 3.5/5 Service (courtesy, knowledge, timeliness) - 4/5 Value (quality vs. price) - 3.5/5 OVERALL - 3.6

We came on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and was happy to enjoy a meal here. The space is spacious and modern with an open kitchen floor plan. You order at the front counter and go up to the counter to pay at the end also. Be forewarned that the modern wire chairs fit the aesthetic but are very uncomfortable to sit in after a while. Food was okay, but on the expensive side for a kabob lunch. For one skewer of meat on a bed of rice with side salad and naan was about $25 already. I think the concept isn't high end enough to justify the price.

Chicken kofta

We ordered a couple of things to try. First the small mantu, pretty good sharable appetizer. The mains we got a chicken kofta, the chicken was juicy, and also got the NK grill the tandoori chicken was SUPER DRY. It was like eating cardboard. Service was friendly, lots of seating and parking.

You know how much I love Naan and Kabob. I always get the Chaplee dinner but they were sold out. I decided to try something new and got the grilled paneer with eggplant and zucchini. When I got home, there were no zucchini. I was disappointed because those are my favourite. The paneer was alright. I had paneer curry or tikka paneer before which I really liked. I unfortunately didn't like this and wouldn't get this again.

We were looking for a new place where we can try a good food for breaking fast (Iftari). So, we decided to visit Naan Kabob located in Woodbridge, ON. Although over the phone it was told that reservations aren't required and just walk-in! But as we walk-in there was 40 minutes wait time. Naan Kabob is a lovely place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city in spite of being in the city . There's an ample parking space around the building. The place has the indoor seating arrangements and the seating arrangement is super comfortable and spacious. The staff is really nice, friendly and kept following .Pricing is decent, good value for money and the place is more suitable for a group of people.

a fancy restaurant for naan and kabob we went nicelyhere on a Friday night, it turned out to be during Ramadan and this place was super packed. we have to wait for a long time, so we decided to come back next week. we came back and tried the food. it is definitely a fancy restaurant for kabob, the table and plates were nicely decorated. The food was not bad, maybe just a bit too fancy for me, and also a bit expensive. i would recommend if you want to experience a big fine dining for naan and kabob.

NK dinner plate and fattoush salad

Naan and Kabob opened up recently in the Woodbridge area, and my co-worker and I decided to try it for lunch, as they were offering a $10 off coupon. I have to say, I am so glad we tried it because we absolutely loved it!! We ordered the NK grilled dinner with included the tandoori, classic chicken breast and beef kabob. We also tried the fusion with salad which had the tandoori kabob and fattoush salad. We shared everything and it was delicious! The chicken and beef were so well flavoured and super juicy. Their meat is cooked perfectly and you can tell the quality is very good. I have had bamiyan kabob and the past and I think Naan kabob's meat is far better. The rice was delicious as well, very well seasoned. We really enjoyed the fattoush and naan as well. Will definitely be coming back, probably some of the best afghan food I've had!

Tandoor Chicken Din

I tried this place a couple of days ago. This was my first time ordering food from this spot. Although it was a pickup, the order was warm and was made fresh. I ordered from their Kabob dinner menu, a Tandoori Chicken Din. Came with boneless chicken breast skewers, a salad, dip and naan. The food was well marinated and tasted great. I also did order assorted baklava which was great as well. The kabob dip was so good; it made the meal all come together. The food was way more than I anticipated but it was good to make two meals out of lol. Definitely will be trying this place again.

Main area of the restaurant

Great food and excellent ambience- really loved the simple idea of Naan Kabob. We were visiting from Connecticut and happened to see this place for dinner. It was full which is good sign. Service and staff are great and we really enjoyed the tasty food.

The ceiling

The food came out very fast and everyone in my family loved it. The chicken and everything was very juicy and fresh. The service was good but the ambiance was very nice. Many plants accompanied us and the ceiling was extravagant. Would definitely recommend.

Tandoori skewer combo w rice. Side order of Paneer skewer & chicken kofta skewer (right). Also comes with naan, salad and 2 sauces.

My go-to meals in Bamiyan are usually the Kebab Dinners which includes rice, salad and the naan bread. My favorite kebabs are the Beef Kofta and the Chicken Breast. The Kofta is mainly minced beef with herbs and spices and is freshly grilled to perfection. I find Bamiyan's Kofta tender, juicy and not dry like the others. The same goes for their chicken breast. Mildly spiced chicken cubes are perfectly charred and absolutely delicious. The simple Afghani Rice (Chalau) has a fragrant aroma and fluffy texture. The Afghan salad which is loaded with vegetables like tomatoes and lettuce is light and refreshing and goes well with the white yoghurt sauce they provide you. Both rice and salad side dishes are perfect accompaniment to the meat kebabs. The Naan is another one of my favorites, I always make sure to buy an extra one just to bring home. The only thing I noticed lately is that the red sauce is not as flavourful and spicy as it used to be. Nevertheless it doesn't affect the overall quality of their food and would still come back here. Staff are friendly but expect for longer wait times up to 15 minutes for your order since this location is pretty busy all the time.

Our favourite is the kofta kabob dinner. This dinner also comes with naan bread. I love their cream dipping sauce. I can just drink that stuff up, I drizzle it all over the rice and meat. It's heaven. Too bad it's never enough. If you ask for extra sauce, it's an additional charge :( The service is good, front staff is friendly. They will provide plates for sharing, a jug of water with cups to complete your meal (if you ask). They do have alot of other beverage choices to purchase. The place is like a food court style. You order, pick up your meal and find your own table to enjoy your meal.

It was served with rice and sauce. The Kobidah Kebobs were really flavourful and went really with their rice! Raspberry lemonade was alright but nothing extraordinary. The only little complaint I have is that there was no veggies or salad with the dinner plate and Naan is extra cost. The restaurant was clean and service was good too, the waitresses that served us were friendly and attentive! Overall I would recommend, we spent a total of 60$ after tax and 18% gratuity

Here's what my boyfriend and I ordered: * Lamb Shank $22.99 - 8/10 * Kobidah Kebob (beef skewers) $17.99 -8/10 * Raspberry Lemonade $4.99 - 7/10 The lamb was so tender and basically fell off the bone. Was so tasty! The beef skewer delicious as well, topped with a tangy seasoning that we couldn't get enough of. The raspberry lemonade we could've passed on honestly, nothing crazy, but water is fine or we'd love to try a different drink next time. Servers were very friendly and checked on us regularly. We had lots of questions about the menu and they carefully answered each one. We had to wait a bit, but I think it's because we were such a big group as well. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Parking: free parking, big open lot. Overall, we'd definitely come back again to try their other menu items!

Over the years they've added various new items to their menu. Just when I think this place can't get any better, they add items such as Bolani, Quabili Rice and Dolma (just to name a few). It's getting harder and harder to settle on just one item for lunch or dinner. I want them all! The service is fabulous, the food is fabulous... clean, lean and healthy eating. You can't go wrong. The food is consistently good and delicious, however their online ordering system is the absolute worst. This is the fourth time where my I have placed my order for pickup, I arrive at the scheduled time and the counter staff are perplexed and unaware of my order has been placed and accepted ( with both app and text confirmations). I have heard from the staff on each occasion is that it has something to do with the broken but quasi-functioning tablet. For my sake and on behalf of others, I will gladly purchase a replacement device so this issue is resolved once and for all.
