packaging is done like no one gives a shit and serves the mantu with literally no toppings. How disappointing.

The naan was fluffy and hot, and the different dishes and sauces were delicious. The vegetarian option came with a chickpea dish and a cabbage+pea dish, both were pleasantly spicey. The meat dishes were a sweetened butter chicken and a stewed goat. I really enjoyed our meal here and will definitely return again for their lunch. Cannot speak for their dinner serving sizes and prices, which I find are typically less "worth it" in most Indian restaurants. Owners were friendly, would recommend if you're nearby and craving Indian food.

The first time I came I ordered the Chana masala with basmati rice, the combination of spices they used in the dish was magic in my mouth! For our table of three we shared two appetizers - the vegetable pakora and onion bhajee which were deep fried and delicious. I could not wait to come back! On my second visit, I ordered the bharta and my boyfriend ordered the chicken chettined. We shared an order of basmati rice and their fluffy naan bread. Bharta is an eggplant dish mixed with herbs and tomatoes, I am a big fan of eggplants and this is the best preparation I've ever had of this magnificent vegetable (or fruit?...) I honestly cannot rave enough about this place. If you want a trip to flavor town, hit up Sahar's Kitchen!

Tried this Indian restaurant while visiting the area while on business trip…read more All I can say is the food is delicious and made to perfection, I had experienced this place twice during my trip. First time I had ordered via Uber Eats, and was delighted by the taste of the Biriyani that I ordered, very well cooked and packaged. I visited the place two days later in person. The place has a full bar, and good seating arrangements, and has South Indian music playing. They had a menu with many South Indian speciality items. Service was friendly and super quick, I felt that the tables were a bit smaller than normal. We ordered a chicken lollipop, Goat Chukka Biriyani, Garlic Naan and Beef Chukka Masala curry. The biriyani, naan and lollipop are all made perfectly and tasted great. I don't recommend the beef chukka masala. Highly recommend this place for delicious Indian food if you are in Kitchener Ontario.

Chicken 65 was not as per our taste, the owner Raja was kind enough and tried to make us another plate and we still didn't like it that much and was so nice that he took it back - he took any feedbacks we gave so well and was a pleasant person to deal with. I understand the food order takes time, I would advice to place your orders ahead - but I also understand the reason why they take time - firstly they are always busy, any day of the week plus the food is freshly made so the taste stays intact and that's what makes this place special. If you have patience, definitely try the two Dosa's for sure PS: couldn't take pictures of all the food coz we just attacked on it asap it came

A quick browse in Google brought up New Delhi amongst the top searches and so I and a colleague decided to try the place. Ambience and welcome (5/5) The very first aspect that impresses when you enter the place is the ambience; its warm and relaxing and more importantly ever smiling pleasant demeanor of Mr.Gaurav (Who runs the place) makes you like the place instantly even before you have tasted the food :-) Friendliness of staff and customer service (5/5) The staff take the effort to ask about our spice tolerance which was important as I had a colleague who was not Indian but was curious about Indian food and I wanted to make sure the experience was worth it. To mention, I had ordered a take-away and one item in my order was left behind; I called up the place and Mr.Gaurav personally delivered the item to my hotel. That is a fine example of customer service I have experienced. Dishes ordered: Papdi chaat (5/5) The 1st item we had was the papdi chaat and it was amazing. The right mix of chutneys and flavors made it a delectable eat. Take a look at the picture. Droolworthy, aint it? Veg biryani (4/5) We ordered Veg biryani and from a taste point of view, it was very good. However, the biryani rice was a bit sticky and not separate as how basmati rice usually is; but that had no impact on the gastronomic experience :-) , we polished off the dish in no time Dahi bhalla (5/5) Now, I have had chaat at Lucknow, Amritsar, and Delhi itself, and I can say with authority that the dahi bhalla holds up well to its competition :-) Veg thali (5/5) Value for money I went again couple of days later for lunch and ordered their veg thali which comprises of a big naan, basmati rice, 2 veg dishes, kheer, raita, and some lettuce salad. This is a value for money deal. The portion is just perfect for a single person. Fun fact: They also stock Indian softdrinks such as Limca, Thums up :-) As desi as it can get. New Delhi also makes fresh Indian sweets and having tasted their Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, and Kheer, I would highly recommend them as the go to place for Indian sweets during festivals. Price wise, I feel its reasonable. Not too expensive. Rightly priced. The one thing every desi misses is ghar ka khana. New Delhi was my go to place. Kudos to Mr.Gaurav for running such an amazing place. I hope to visit Canada again and will definitely visit New Delhi :-) To conclude: The place definitely lives up to its name...
