This was a great experience and my new favorite hole-in-the-wall spot. The server was friendly and somehow managed to pull bread from the oven, bag it up, take our order, and serve generous portions of delicious food. Just to be clear, this is Persian food, not Indian naan. We ordered the chicken pizza and the chicken kabob plate. Both were delicious. Chicken breast kabobs can easily turn out dry, but this one was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The pizza was exactly what I expected in the best way, with soft, chewy naan and flavorful toppings. I also loved watching them make the bread. They had a cabinet stocked with sauces and other items, and after lunch I ended up buying bread, tzatziki, baklava, and a few other things to take home for dinner. I'm glad I found this place. We went there for breakfast. The taste of the kaleh pacheh was really good, and the omelet was also very flavorful. The overall food quality was good. The restaurant was extremely crowded. We were honestly worried that by the time our order was ready, we might not find a place to sit. We were lucky to find a table and were able to sit down. It was very busy. The staff were polite and professional, and the quality of the food was good. The price of the kaleh pacheh was a bit high compared to the portion size served. Arrived a bit close to closing time around 8 pm. Ordered the beef kebab plate which came with rice, beef kebab and salad with yogurt dill dip. Came out to about $22 including tip. The portion sizes here are massive and the food tasted delicious. The beef kebab was well seasoned and the yogurt dip was delicious and paired well with the kebab. Really enjoyed my visit to Naan hut. Naan Hut is located on Santa Monica blvd. The streets are busy but you should have no problem finding parking when you visit. When you walk in, you noticed how clean and bright the restaurant is. It's a comfortable space and has lots of seats. You can walk up and order your food and choose your seating throughout the restaurant. I ordered the beef wrap which came with a side salad. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. The quality and taste of their foods are incredible, specially if you like Iranian foods. The breads they are baking are great and we "had to" buy a few more to take home.! They don't have much space for so many tables but they prepare the foods so quickly with almost no delay and waste of time. This place serves delicious Persian breakfast, and I had the chance to try the Omelette and the Mirza Ghasemi (eggplant with egg and garlic). Both dishes were absolutely delightful and came with freshly baked Sangak bread on the side. The omelette instantly reminded me of my dad's tomato omelettes growing up, especially when paired with Persian pickles. Haleem is one of Iran's traditional breakfast dishes, especially during winter. I'm glad that a few times a year, I can stop by Naan Hut and pick up a container or two of this delicious, hearty, rich dish. Today was the second time in 2025. I plan to surprise my hosts on Sunday morning with a warm, rich, hearty, buttery serving of haleem, topped with cinnamon and sugar, when I join them for brunch. Hey, it's a cool.place to pop in and get fantastic bread, but let's not confuse this with a cafe/restaurant. Couple incidental seats do not a restaurant make. I got a salad in a plastic container ( pre- prepared to go) with a few pieces of feta, lettuce, etc., sat down at one of the 4 inside tables, grabbed a can of coke from the fridge next to the table, asked for some slices of their great bread (that flat fabulous one with all the seeds that you could eat all day) at 3.99 and spent near 30 bucks with tax. Was it good? It was o.k., it's a salad. Would l have paid way less than half buying the great bread, making a simple salad at home and grabbing a can from my fridge, of course. It's a bakery with some salads dummy! Lol. I have had breakfast and tgat's a better proposition, butvagain, it's a bakery with counter ordering, some limited food options, nice people and zero ambiance. read more

Ordered Soltani for delivery today. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I'm giving it just 2 stars for koobideh. The Koobideh was good and tasty, and the Barg was soft and fresh yet tasteless. It really needed some seasoning and butter. The salad that came with it was a joke--just lettuce with no tomatoes, cucumbers, or anything else, and no dressing. Look at the pictures. We were very excided to dine at this place and have a authentic Persian breakfast and purchase fresh bread. Unfortunately they were not making any bread that day. It took a long time to serve the food, even though we were the only customer at the time of morning. The omelet was served in plastic plate (which makes the food cool much faster) and it took another 5+ minutes to bring the bread. By the time the bread came the omelet was already cold and unpleasant to eat. They did not have coffee so we ordered Persian tea which they brought much later after the food was served with a tea bag inside a paper cut. Not sure why it took so long to bring the tea if they were only using a tea bag and not fresh tea from Samovar (which was expected from a Persian cafe). The woman taking our order also never checked on us. Unfortunately did not have a great experience. read more
