It has now been a week and I have seven nails chilling or gone or halfway gone. The last time I got them fix the lady didn't even use the right colors for my designs so they can match the other hand. Was my experience nice yes it was very nice, gentle, and relaxing but the quality of shellac is horrible. I have never had this happen so fast with shellac. The techs just keep telling me they are so sorry for the inconvenience. At the end of the day it was definitely not worth the money.

Meanwhile, I noticed another technician nearby who was very engaging with his client, and it really added a personal touch to the experience. Mary was especially gentle with my daughter, which I truly appreciated. Overall, the service was good, but I did notice some inconsistencies in the customer experience. Some technicians went the extra mile by offering clients a color swatch to browse, making sure they were comfortable, and even providing water. My experience felt a bit different. I wasn't given my own color swatch to look through and had to share one. As soon as I selected my color, it was taken away immediately, which didn't feel very welcoming. The salon itself is beautiful, very clean, and even the bathrooms are nicely maintained. One thing I wasn't expecting was being moved to the drying station immediately after my nails were painted. Unfortunately, the water around my chair hadn't been cleaned up, and I almost slipped on my way over. Thankfully, I caught myself, but it could have ended badly. When she first started yanking, I asked her to please stop in a friendly tone, and after she persisted I tried pulling away so she couldn't do damage but instead, she forced my foot to be still and kept pulling the nail out until it bled. She understood me because she was talking to me while doing the pedicure. So she intentionally knew I was hurting and persisted to hurt me. Then she started speaking Vietnamese in an annoyed tone to her husband Peter, so he took over. Neither of them apologized, this is very poor customer service and highly unprofessional. I came here to get a regular gel pedicure. It was quiet and maybe had 1 other customer…read more I asked the technician to remove my ingrown nails because that is something my usual person does (I tried a new place when I came here) I did not expect, that for the next 40 min this person would be still trying to take my ingrown nails out. I was satisfied with what had already been done. But he said let me get an expert this isn't my area of expertise. Then a lady proceeded to get a little kit and start digging into my toes and cutting and explaining that since he started and couldn't finish it she would have to go all the way and really get all of my ingrown nails out. This was all insane to me because like I said my usual lady and people all my life just pulls out the little ones and doesn't do any more than that. But I decided whatever I'll let her do her thing even though it's really painful and I also didn't have a choice since she already started. And then halfway through this process of pain and everything they bring me a waiver which in my mind-it's too late because you didn't tell me the risks or ask me and then you have me sign a waiver?.. But again like I said-all of this is fine and I dealt with it, and was actually shocked by what she pulled out with this process, and that I appreciated. I'm really being critical of how this process happened. Now for the actual point of why I am writing this review. After they finished this process it had already been an hour and I needed to go as I had a wedding to get to so I let them know I didn't need the pedicure because I needed to leave, the lady reassured me that she could be very fast so I dealt with it and let her continue. When she got to the part where they take the dead skin off of your feet with the zester thing/microplane I noticed the lady walked away and came back with a bandaid. I asked if there was a cut or something and she said there was some tiny little scrape so I just ignored that and especially didn't care because I didn't feel anything. She finished up very quickly and I was on my way. I do want to mention how kind these people were which is why this review is not easy to write but sadly what happened next has to be told to warn people just incase. I got home and took off my shoes and was horrified to see blood everywhere. I look at my foot and the spot where she put the bandaid wasn't even covering any type of cut. What she avoided to cover or tell me about is that she actually zested off my freaking heel of my foot. I went in the next day that they were open and explained what happened to a manager. I showed kindness and understanding that a mistake can happen. They were sorry and gave me a refund right away. I want to mention that the nail painting work that was done was fine and everything but the health risk involved and the fact that I could have gotten a very bad infection or even staph would have been very scary and dangerous.
