My wife makes her appointments to have her nails done at least a week ahead of time so she can fit her appointments into her busy schedule. This last visit to N & D Nails was no exception. She showed up early to her appointment and found her nail girl had just started on another customer. My wife waited over 45 minutes for her appointment. Once she was seen by her nail girl, she apologized to my wife for the wait and told her that management made her take the other customer even though she had an appointment in just a few minutes. My wife's nail girl does a good job on her nails but if this is the way N & D Nails treats their customers and employees, my wife is now looking for a new nail salon that actually honors appointments and treats their employees better. read more

They are very accommodating and nice, I have a service dog in training and I was placed to the wall away from costumers and even when I had to correct him for getting up from his stay a handful of times they did not get aggravated or accuse me of having a fake service dog! Ms Sue and Kevin are my absolute favorite. Ms Sue is magic with her hands and can make even the Shrekiest of feet look amazing! Kevin does great at nails with any sharp and they last forever. I have never had broken nails or chips with Kevin. All the other artists are great as well I just can't remember their names!! Would give negative if possible. Worst as didn't know until end that they did not tell right price on phone. I paid$50 for completely jacked up nails It was the worst jail job ever. Not only did I show her picture of coffin shape nails, did for AN HOUR, got square nails over& over. There isn't a straight nail in my hand. After I repeatedly asked for manager, got NO help. 3 of my nails look like the solar was put on then took my hand and flopped it against wall. She ate up my cuticles. I can't say anything nice about it. The owner has come in twice toward beginning& they said he watches cameras& them all day. Well he needs to see me continuing to explain how to do nails, asking for manager, and even asking for the file to show her what coffin nails are ... All after she had seen pictures. I've been meaning to post this for a while, because it was in December when I went here. They are not transparent!! scammers. I was about to go out of town, wanted to get my nails done but didn't want to spend a lot, I just wanted something simple. so I asked how much the service would be, the lady told me $40, and I was like okay that's perfect. then as she was doing them she was like "you want me to do ombré on the bottom, it'll look better" and I'm like sure, since i was already getting color I didn't think it would be more that she mixed a little white at the bottom that took like 10 seconds. then I go to check out and it's $65, wtf??? I get that stuff cost extra but 1. I didn't think for something as simple as that, 2. why didn't she tell me??! i would have declined, I didnt ask for it, I was pressured into it. and 3. I ended up hating my nails and I keep had to keep a really tight budget for my trip and my nails looked weird and ugly & totally didn't meet expectations. I was mad the whole trip that I went over budget and for nails that I hated. it ended up being $75 bc I still tipped which I shouldn't have since I was told a different price and they sneak in add-ons. I will never go back, I despise shady places that do this, I lost all trust & I haven't wanted to get my nails done at all since then. If I ever get my nails done again, it won't be this place. This place is horrible. They have the rudest staff, especially the main lady. Not sure if she is the owner or manager but she is extremely rude. I watched a man come in to ask if they could do a pedicure for his wife in a wheelchair. She is unable to get in a massage chair so he wanted to see if they could do a pedicure in a stand alone bowl. The lady just ignored his question and turned her back to him until he left. They also do terrible quality nails. I will never spend my money at this place again. read more

Not only was I waiting for over an hour, but two different people came in and got helped almost right away without appointments, after I had been sitting and patiently waiting for over an hour just to get three nails repaired. Today was my 3rd visit to this salon. My sister used to be a regular customer here so when I'm in the area I stop in as well. I've only used the owner Annie to do my nails so I don't know how good the other technicians work is. This is a very busy salon so I see it is best to make an appointment or you will be waiting for a while. The man doing my pedi was too concerned with watching other people instead of watching where he was filing. He also didn't push back my cuticles and clipped the sides of each toenail off!!! I went there one day after work last week and got a new set of acrylics. I currently just left the clinic getting a prescription because I got an infection my finger swollen 2 times the size of my other fingers and was so tender to the touch. It was infected and there was puss and blood oozing from underneath my finger nail. Not to mention she hurt me several times during my set. And when I refused an eyebrow wax she leaned in closer and said. " ooh you need it!" I we'll never set foot in that nail salon again! I went in for a full set and left with 3 bleeding fingers and 6 of my nails are glued to my skin. 3 of my nails are too wide and it's quite noticeable. And the color has spots in it, almost like some of the powder from a different color spilled into this one. And there is a LOT of gunk underneath the nails. This place was terrible! They told us there was no wait and then brought us in and we waited for an hour. Other people tried to leave because they were waiting for so long and were chased down. When we finally got things done they kept making mistakes and would not take the time to fix it properly. There was a lady who had been sitting in the chair for 3 hours and they did not even give her a discount for all they put her through. I have gone here twice to get waxed. The first time was probably the best waxing experience I've ever had in the 15 years I've been having hair removed. But this most recent time has to be the Worst! This lady put the room temperature wax (it's supposed to be very warm) on my skin, then waited (mauve 10 seconds longer than needed), Then pushed the fabric on my skin and ripped it quite roughly away. Then on my lip she put on one side, then waited, then put the wax on the other side, Then put the fabric on (this means the wax dried on my skin) , which caused skin and hair to come off and hurt worse than the first time ever! I will NEVER return and would strongly warn you to never give this place a try! read more

I went in on Christmas Eve as a walk in, they were busy but not super busy. After 10 min of waiting, i requested the owner Annie to do my full set nails, she responded me that she had another appt and that someone else would take care me. Ok my fault for not booking an appt. The lady who did my nails kept giving me attitudes when i told her my ring finger nail was crooked, she said my finger was crooked not my nail. She was doing my nails in such a rush because she's also the wax person and left me there when 2xs in between because she had to do eyebrows for the walk ins. Why not make them wait? I didn't like the job she did to my nails, y'all go look at the photos! By the time it was time to leave, the place was hectic busy so i didn't wanted to make it such a big deal and decided to leave but called instead. I spoke to the owner and she nicely said to go back and that SHE WOULD fix them. I go back after 30min, i walk in and she sees my nails and asks what's wrong? Seriously? I showed her how every nail was different sizes and the thickness was ridiculous. She proceed to say "ok I'll fix for you". She finishes her client and get another walk in and i asked her wasn't i next? I mean on the phone she said to go in and she would fix them right and there, she sends me with the same lady who did my nails and said she was going to fix what she did. Listen, i tried to give this business a second chance but i will never go back again. The same lady who did my nails was even angrier that she had to fix what she did and ended up leaving them worst! Basically she only filed them in less than 5min and there she was done.. another young employee noticed i wasn't happy and she even agreed that my nails looked very bad and she apologized and fixed them for me. She buffed them to make them thinner and file them to sort of make them look decent. It was like i had walked in for a refill pretty much. That's how my nails looked. I have only been once, and only helped by Annie. So, this review is not inclusive of the entire salon, but Annie did an outstanding job!! I was in Conroe visiting family, and had a terrible (brand new) set of 'solar nails'. I was having them taken off and redone. Was a little nervous trying a new place in a small area, but Annie got me in (on a busy Saturday), took that awful set off and put a new set of solar nails on. I wasn't charged a ton, and she got me in and out (WITH the removal) in an hour and fifteen. And the new set? They are LOVELY. I should have taken a picture - next time. I was gracious in giving this nail salon a one star review because I couldn't give them anything less. Annie is absolutely unprofessional and completely disrespected me and wasted my time. I called to make an appointment with her. She booked me to come in at 1pm. However, when I arrived at 12:45p (15 minutes early) she said that she was too busy to do my nails!!! Who is so unprofessional as to set an appointment and then tell their client when they arrive 15 minutes early that they are too busy to do their nails?!?! Will never go here again! The lady cut my long natural nails off!!!! Horrible job at filing, the manicure was the worst I've ever had and the shellac started peeling the next day. Called about them redoing my shellac and they were just rude and did another horrible job! She used the drill on my natural nails even after I told her not to.
