Steak and mashed potatoes

Highly recommend to anyone visiting Joplin to pay Mythos a visit! Mythos was everything you could ask for in a Greek owned restaurant. Their diverse selection of food caters to seafood lovers, meat enthusiasts and appetizers that make for a great evening. The interior decorating/music fit the fine dining ambiance and the staff was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable.

Oh goodness... first time trying this place. They really knocked it out of the ballpark. It's beautiful inside. The food was amazing and beautifully presented and our waiter was incredible. We went to lunch. You do get what you pay for. It's on the pricey side, but lunch is less. Regardless, lunch portions were still HUGE. I don't have to cook dinner tonight lol. We got our leftovers to go! Loved our food. Great flavor profiles on everything. Highly recommend!

Fantastic lunch menu! Love that they were able to provide me a gyro with grilled chicken. Go early or make a reservation because it's slammed at lunch. We had to sit at a high top bar table and didn't receive the service we would have in the dining room but it won't stop me from returning.

Crème brûlée

Service was absolutely wonderful Brandon did a great job. Food was delicious. Spicy feta appetizer is definitely a must buy. We will be back. Look forward to the next time.

Definitely make reservations if you have a larger party. Restaurant has a decent bit of bar top seating at an older looking bar. They sat us in a back room at a very nicely presented white table clothed table. We ordered the hot crab dip for an appetizer. It was delicious. 10/10 recommend. For my entree, I ordered the 8 oz filet medium rare with the brown sugar brussel spouts. I almost always have to season my steak, but this was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Carley was our server and she was the perfect mix of being attentive while also not being at our table too often. Next time I am in town, I'll definitely be stopping by for dinner.

Filet was by far the most fantastic thing. Hands down you should get the filet. Are you a ribeye man? Get the filet. The medallions were good but the filet was superior. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend the sweet corn casserole. It was sweeter than cake, sweeter than icing. This would have been ten star on if they went a more savory route. The twice baked potato was delicious incredible. And surprisingly, the Caesar salad was one of the best we've ever had. And we have traveled a LOT. We really REALLLLLLY enjoyed the beverages from the bar. They were mixed perfectly. The signature old fashioned (BW) is a little n the sweeter side but really full of flavor. It was a nice little dinner!

We had put our name on the online waitlist (which we love). We were seated immediately when we got to the restaurant. It took at least 10 minutes for someone to come over to our table to take our drink orders. We ordered our food, and at least 15 mins later the server came back to our table and said, "Oh yeah, I keep meaning to tell you we are out of our 12 oz prime rib." So my husband and I had to quickly order something else. I ordered the 6 oz filet medium rare, and my husband got the filet and ribs combo, also medium rare. We waited another 40 minutes for our food to come. Our 5 year old actually waited for it well, but my husband and I couldn't figure out what was taking so long. When we finally got our meal, our steaks were not medium rare. However, we did not send them back, because we had already been there an hour and we were hungry. My steak was more like medium well than medium rare. The steaks were not seasoned at all, so they were also bland. My sweet potato was not thoroughly cooked. Honestly, the saving grace was the rolls and the green beans. Luckily, we had a gift card, so we only ended up paying $6 and the tip. Our server was not overly friendly or helpful. We never got refills on our drinks, except my son, and it took at least 20 mins for her to bring it back to him once he asked for a refill. It was a fairly busy night, but we have been on nights that are busier and we've received better food and service. We were definitely disappointed because it was our anniversary, and we thought it would be nice to go to dinner as a family. Maybe we should have gone somewhere quieter anyway. Can't take it back now, but it may be awhile before we go back.

That personal connection aside, Crabby's delivers an experience that feels both elevated and welcoming. It does lean towards being a bit more expensive, but the quality of the food and the care in presentation make it worth the splurge. I ordered the gnocchi marsala with chicken, and it was nothing short of heavenly. Pillowy gnocchi paired with a rich, savory sauce that lingered beautifully. Mrs. K. chose the salmon pancetta, which arrived as a work of art on the plate, perfectly cooked and elegantly presented. She enjoyed it very much, savoring each bite. And of course, we couldn't resist ending the evening with a crème brûlée: creamy, infused with vanilla, and topped with that satisfying caramelized crust that cracks just right under the spoon. Crabby's is the kind of place where you go not just to eat, but to celebrate, to linger, and to enjoy the finer side of dining in Joplin. It's polished without being pretentious.
