I don't usually write reviews until I've eaten somewhere a few times, but this is an optimistic 5-star review because I live close to here and I really want them to succeed as I like what I see so far. Food: The rating for food alone would be 4-stars right now. Everything was tasty but the textures were a little off for the char siu and the flavors were a bit off for the Lomo Saltado. Chicken wings were excellent but small (wingletes). Fried rice and garlic noodles were very tasty. The owners are VERY open to feedback right now, including adding new dishes and even cuisine types. I'm a little worried they're a bit too scattered due to the variety of cuisines offered and I hope they find a good balance. Ambiance: Fast food but nicer. It's only a few weeks old so stuff is very clean and new right now. Service: The owners were both there and very enthusiastic and friendly. They were happy to explain their experience/background, the restaurant theme, and answer any questions about the food. Price/value: The portions are on the larger side and we definitely had leftovers after fully stuffing ourselves during lunch. Still post-COVID prices but felt like a good value for high quality ingredients.

Huge improvement from the first visit!!! We opted to go inside this time to check out the interior. Very beautiful inside that is quaint and matches the foods vibe. The staff was very friendly from start to finish of our visit. We ordered the orange chicken, lomo saltado, garlic noodles, and fried rice. The orange chicken is consistent and good in flavor. The lomo was also tasty. Fried rice is a must, and the garlic noodles were good, although I prefer more of a sauce to be paired with it versus the oil. This is just a personal preference but i wish they had a standard soda fountain machine like Coca-Cola products, I don't like the current offerings of "stubborn" sodas as they don't quite hit the same when pairing with your meal. With that being said the offering makes sense since the food is fresh made. I'm hopeful that the other food offerings are similar and look forward to trying more with the same service i experienced this time.

Went on a Friday night just before 7 and it was so busy. I know they're pretty new still but they need to work on their speed and efficiency especially if they have a drive thru window. I didn't see anyone using the drive thru when we went, and it was still very slow. We were looking forward to this peruvian chinese, asian fusion spot. The food was ok. I wasn't blown away by the taste of the huli huli chicken or the Lomo saltado. To me, they were very salty. My husband's pork cheese katsu had no cheese. The sweet garlic fried chicken was just ok. I'm not sure what the pink sauce was but it helped cut the heavy taste of the meat by mixing it with the rice or dipping the meat into that sauce. The green sauce was for the lomo saltado. That was too salty/spicy and had too much garlic going on, on top of the super garlicky noodles already. I think i had an upset stomach from all the garlic lol. Weren't we also supposed to get a waffle character as part of the bento meal??? Dunno what that is, cuz we didn't. I think that one of the staff handed out something for free to others but we didn't get anything. Another staff went around apologizing for the near 20 to 30 min wait we had before getting our food. She offered us a free soda, but in the end, we still didn't get one. It's cool they do those bento combo boxes with a little bit of everything, but personally, I would've liked it better if they offered customizable bentos, like orange chicken with lomo saltado instead. But honestly, I think with how busy it is, it probably wouldn't work great for them. The boba blueberry milk tea I thought I got, turned out to be a yogurt drink which was good but....that was off-putting because I didn't expect that. The place was quite small. We decided to eat there because it was almost a 30 min drive for us though we live in the area. It's in an area that's super far out from everything else. There was a weird display of plates and tableware for sale that took up almost half the room.....I think they should remove that to make more space for tables and chairs that patrons can sit on.

My husband and I stopped by on Sunday afternoon. The service was amazing! We were greeted by both the front and personally by a friendly guy, who I'm assuming is the manager. He knew we were new so he explained the menu to us. Very helpful. I love how they have a self order kiosk. We find it helpful when we just want to take our time looking through the menu. The inside is pretty big and the decor is very nicely done. Super clean. My family was happy with their meals. The Lomo Saltado was delicious! The steak was very tender.

I was not sure what kind of food they were serving, like others I thought it was going to be Greek but it also said Fusion so I wanted to check it out and see exactly what they were offering here. I used the drive-thru which was an easy option for a busy week day dinner. The drive thru menu has pictures and features appetizers, Bento Boxes and Family meals. I ordered one Bento Box and it was plentiful for my husband and I (we couldn't even finish it). The box was 17 and some change and the presentation was very cool. The garlic noodles were very good, reminded me of Korean ones I have had, the fried rice was made with fresh veggies and egg, the Katsu was probably my favorite and the wings were slightly sweet with a garlic finish very good. I didn't try the pickled vegetables but they my husband like them. The service was excellent and I will absolutely be back to try something else.

Visited on Sat 9/21 around 12:30 pm. We were encouraged by the reviews and supporting a new local business but our experience was not good at all. Firstly, half of the menu(the right side) was not available. Overall impressions is that the place is very clean and inviting for dinein. However, the food was just ok, nothing we ordered was served hot. It was room temperature or cold which was very off putting. The burger and gyro was very messy and not put together well which took away from even thinking about the taste. Here is what we ordered; Gyro - 9 year old daughter & me ordered it was it was very messy, meat and fries cold, served on a very flimsy paper plate, leaking juices Chicken/Rice - chicken tasted rubbery and no flavor - fried rice was good Chicken wings - served room temperature Beef slider- very messy, fell apart after first bite Parmesan fries - room temperature, served with very little garlic and Parmesan Final thoughts, the place has a lot of potential to be great, just need to serve & cook food to order, serve hot food, rethink some of the offerings and make presentation of certain dishes better.

This place is a great find. You definitely get your moneys worth. Great workers. They gave is some samples. The Bento Box C was a great meal and definitely a lot of food for one person about 18$. The boba was good too. Overall I'm glad to have an opportunity to eat there

I want to be nice and fair. I would say this place is 5 stars if they are better with the staff being organized. Food was good I did like it! The staff are nice but seemed a little overwhelmed. The staff member that helped us order was sweet. She showed us how to order thru the kiosk so we didn't have to wait in line. The seating area is a little smaller than I thought but I will go back and take it to go. We shared the Signature Bento B box and a Beef Gyro as well as Parm fries. They will be better once they have their system down and they catch a groove of things.

Wow, so refreshing to have something NEW in the area! Let me start with how beautiful the interior is, and how blown away by the service we were. Every employee was friendly and offered help with the menu. Now, the food... amazing! The is not your typical fast food/ restaurant. The ingredients are fresh and unique. It is truly a fusion of many different cultures. The orange chicken and garlic noodles were my favorite! My husband loves the ribeye broccoli and fried rice. The bento boxes are great for two people to share. Please take into consideration that this restaurant has only been open for a few weeks. Don't take the one star review too seriously... I don't understand how anyone could complain about the portions. It is a ton of food. support this new local business! There is literally nothing this place makes that is not amazing! Easily the best food in Riverside - it's fresh and so flavorful. My daughter and I are addicted, we get it at least weekly and are always super impressed. In fact, I've never liked shrimp in my life, but their shrimp tempura is so good, even a seafood hater like me is obsessed. Don't sleep on this spot (per my 13 year old)! read more

I ordered a pick up order, went to the drive thru to pick it up & they took 25-30 min to bring me my order & didn't even acknowledge me at the window. I got lomo saltado & it was like 5 tiny inedible gristley chunks of beef and 90% sautéed onions and tomato's. Shame on you guys for scamming people, that cut of meat was inedible & couldn't even chew & digest it. I basically got a bowl of onions and rice. The flavors of the food are good though, I got Brussel sprouts which were cooked great but I'm really disappointed with the bad service and inedible bowl. I was really hungry & excited to try this place plus I'm a local. Please do better :( read more

My boyfriend and I came into to grab a bite to eat. This is my second time here and everyone always offers impeccable service. Today we met the owner(I believe). Him and the employees are so kind. They were so helpful and gave us the best service! The restaurant is so clean and fresh. The lighting and music are very relaxing. The food we ordered came out very quickly. The kind lady who helped us with our order brought us our food and even went out of her way to bring us the utensils and sauces that are available to grab by the drink refill station. The food itself was so fresh and tasty . I got the ribeye gyro and my boyfriend got the Bento B. Everything tasted incredible. Awesome food. Needs a bit more seasoning. Service was standard, it's not fast food so don't expect it to be super quick despite there being a drive thru. Staff was nice, courteous, and great but they (the girls) definitely should consider wearing hair nets to prevent future hair-in-food issues. Mythos Chef, absolutely stopped my taste buds in their tracks, in the BEST way possible! We had bento box C, huli huli chicken and lomo saltado with garlic noodles, fried rice and cabbage salad. Also ordered barbecue char siu ribs. All flavors were complex and unique with each bite better than the last. Customer service was AMAZING as well and we were even gifted a blueberry cream cheese taiyaki dessert shaped like a little fish. Too cute! I don't take the best food pics (and we had already dug in) but I know good food when I eat it! Try it out, you won't be disappointed read more

I was able to make it through the drive-through just before closing, and the girls working the cashier and making the food were very nice. Food was good and priced reasonably well considering what you get. Ordered the orange chicken and white rice for my wife who is very picky, and she really liked it. For me, I ordered the garlic noodles and gyro. I didn't have any real expectations, but was hoping for something tasty and unique... and Mythos Chef delivered! Will definitely be coming back. read more

We tried this place for the first time last week. We used their drive through and ordered a bento box, the garlic Parmesan fries, and the shrimp tempura. The menu sign wasn't working at the time, but I figured they're still a new establishment and still working out the kinks. No problem, I used my phone to look it up and the server was very friendly and helpful as well. Their food was really good, no complaints. A step up from the usual Asian fast food places. Food was good. Service was jaded. A lil passive. But it's an over the counter fast food joint so it is what it is... kids these days right? No points lost on my end for that. Can't walk into these types of places expecting sit down treatment. But once we did sit down to eat. The Ramen bowl we got was good. Noodles a lil too stuck together. But again. Solid bowl. I also didn't feel like there was enough protein in the bowl, since normally pho is packed with a variety of different meats. The flavor of the soup was nice and the amount of noodles was satisfactory as well. The banh mi was not so good. I liked the crinkle cut radish and carrots but that's about all. The sliced beef meatballs and the fried tofu again didn't really evoke the taste and texture of meat in a banh mi, and the protein was basically just a few thin non-overlapping slices per section of the sandwich. The worst offender-- the sandwich was dry. Vegan should mean vegan mayo, not no mayo at all. It was sooooo dry. I had to take it home and add my own mayo. I don't hate this restaurant, and I really appreciate the willingness to incorporate a vegan friendly menu. However, the pho and banh mi missed the mark for me. I think I'd just order different items next time, like some of the saucy stir fry plates instead.

The other items i ordered were a chicken bahn mi, edamame and egg rolls. The family said it was good. I just can't recommend the beef. I might check it out again and try something else.

Sun faded illustrations of menu items on the west-facing wall are still legible, and a few customers in the crowded entryway were ordering made-to-order noodles and entrées. I, however, just wanted a standard two-item combination of orange chicken and jalapeño chicken with fried rice. Once my turn came it went quick and smooth. Fortunately, there are a few outside tables distributed for the customers of this and adjacent restaurants. I found the orange chicken to be crispy and dry. It was towards the end of the night, but still. A bit disappointed and I didn't eat it all. Their take on jalapeño chicken is actually pretty good. Spicy and a good sauce, which the rice soaked up. Summary: The price was fair for the quantity, but I think the limited space and corresponding reduced selection keeps interesting menu choices offered elsewhere to maybe one or two items, of which one display, didn't appeal. Friendly cashier though, but if they have a prime time, it's probably mid afternoon.

My family and I had the pleasure of trying Mythos Chef for the first time today, and overall, it was a great experience! Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by a gentleman at the register. The restaurant appeared quiet at first, with just one other person seated in the dining area, who seemed to be working--perhaps the owner of the establishment. The plaza itself felt new, as several neighboring businesses had "Coming Soon" signs displayed. The atmosphere inside was calm, clean, and peaceful, and although the restaurant wasn't bustling with customers, it made for a relaxing dining experience. We noticed there were touchscreens available for placing orders, which seemed like a convenient feature. However, since the restaurant wasn't extremely busy at the time, we opted to order directly at the register instead. The service did take about 20 minutes, but given the wide variety of food we ordered, this was understandable. Our family of four ordered a range of dishes: orange chicken, beef broccoli, sweet and spicy wings, fried rice, Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, garlic fried rice, and garlic noodles. The portions were very generous--much larger than what you'd typically get at Panda Express--and the food was flavorful and filling. We even had leftovers to take home. One unique feature of the establishment is its drive-thru, which adds convenience for those on the go. We arrived around 1:00 PM, and while waiting, I checked their hours on Yelp. I noticed that they close at 2:00 PM before reopening at 4:00 PM, which might be temporary. It's worth noting their hours to avoid disappointment if you visit during the mid-afternoon. I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Mythos Chef restaurant and tried the Bento Signature C, which came highly recommended. The Bento Signature C featured Lomo Saltado and Huli-Huli Chicken with fried rice and noodles. The meal was delightful. The Lomo Saltado was cooked to perfection, with tender beef that was not overly salty. Ok, as a foodie, this is now one of my FAVORITE food spots. For starters the inside is BEAUTIFUL. Everything is in theme and the technology is well. The service was impeccable. It was me and my families first time here and they immediately welcomed and gave us a brief lesson on the history of their restaurant. The person that helped us was very kind and helpful and explained a bit on the menu and his recommendations. He then gave me and the rest of my family some samples that's were DELICIOUS btw!! The food itself was amazing I loved it so much. It had all the flavors, it lacked nothing, and the portions were great. The staff and chefs were very kind and very well trained. I rarely leave reviews, but I don't want anyone wasting their money. This was disappointing beyond words. I ordered the lomo saltado, expecting a proper Peruvian dish, but it tasted nothing like it. Instead, it was just meat simmered in a basic tomato sauce. They didn't even have the right sauce for the dish. The only redeeming part of the meal was the wings. I placed an order with the cashier and he was a really nice young man. I asked if he knew what was in the salmon bowl and I pointed to a picture on the wall. He told me everything in the bowl without missing a beat. my coworker said "wow you really know your stuff, that's so awesome" and he just shrugged and smiled. There are cookies on this heated surface by the cash register and oh man they looked so good. My food was prepared really fast. I don't even like sweet potatoes and planned to give them to my coworker but they were so good. I ate my entire bowl and saved the cookie for later. Both were so tasty. Next time, I'm going to get the chocolate cookie and probably the same bowl. I loved it here.

Totally different from what I had but still can feed me for two meals. The place was renovated but the ceiling remains the same-vents and ceiling fans are full of dust. It will be my first and last time to use their bathroom. I only washed my hands but I noticed that the sink is not cleaned for a while and the toilet is not thoroughly cleaned as well. We came in really early. The OPEN sign is not even on yet. I only addressed this so that they can make it presentable for everyone who wants to come back as their customers. Bathrooms are one of the reflections on how clean and how well the shop is kept. I hope when I get back, I can change my rating for them.
