With the dealership's permission, I installed replacement seals they provided, but the leak continued. It was later determined that the door had not been mounted correctly, meaning the original seal replacement was not the correct fix. The issue has gone through multiple repair attempts, including repairs at a local dealer and work performed by the manufacturer. I have been trying to get the ramp door replaced through the manufacturer since April 7 and am still waiting for a resolution. The manufacturer is also aware of additional issues with this brand-new trailer. The bathroom floor became wet from the city water connection, and during my most recent trip I discovered the shower curtain frame had not been properly sealed, allowing water to run down the track and onto the floor. On the way home, my bedroom door also came loose and fell off. I have given the dealership and manufacturer multiple opportunities to correct these problems, but the amount of time, effort, and follow-up required to get warranty issues addressed has been extremely disappointing. I expected a much better ownership experience after purchasing a new trailer.

All three are eager to answer questions, and happily explain processes as they go along. The products Rusted Hitch uses are top quality, and their warranty outline is well presented. We were highly impressed by the level of detail in the work: after removing the moldings/trims, they were meticulously stripped of old caulking and cleaned before being reinstalled along the new roof; when the vents and a/c were put back in place, the self-leveling caulking applied around them was neat and perfect; there was not a speck of trash left on site, and they even rolled a magnetic wheel around the ground to retrieve any dropped/missed staples or nails. Chris and Elijah took the time each day to do the job right, rather than hurry through to get home early. You won't be sorry if you put your RV in their hands.

We have had multiple problems. The latest, in that 18 months, the roof sagged a bit over 3 1/2". It had been sagging since we got it back. Not good for a complete rebuild. We just did not know how bad it was initially or how bad it had gotten. Chris did an excellent job of assessing the extent of the poor workmanship and repairs needed. His estimate was also very accurate and fair. The new roof used tubular steel and was reinforced in one place to accommodate a small AC, that request was added on, if we ever decided to install one. We now have a roof that can handle being stood on if ever needed and it won't sag! Throughout the repair Chris documented the damage, and the installation of the new roof. If he had a question he called, or texted. The communication was very good and helped us trust that we made a good choice in working w/ Chris. Overall my wife and I are very pleased with the experience provided by Chris and Rusted Hitch Restoration!

We purchased a slightly used travel trailer from Camping World in June. The unit was in very good…read morecondition, and the price was reasonable. We had an inspection performed before traveling to purchase. As part of the purchase, Camping World's corporate policy is to sell its "Let's Go Camping" package to customers for $2,500. This package is one-size-fits-all and includes camping items and maintenance services that require a visit to a Camping World location. Because we did not want to be forced to use Camping World for our maintenance and because we already had many of the items in their "Let's Go Camping" package, we declined to purchase. When we arrived on site and inspected the RV, it was clear the unit had not been cleaned. When asked, I was told that since I had not purchased the "Let's Go Camping" package, which included a detailed cleaning, the unit would go out as it came in, and there would be no walk-through of the RV and systems, or cleaning of the unit. The people we met at the Bend, OR branch were all very helpful and friendly, but because of Camping World's policy, they could do nothing more on the RV. So after the purchase, we left Bend, OR Camping World with 75 gallons of the previous owners' shit, shower and sink water, which I dumped out at my first opportunity. Camping World's policy of not cleaning out the black and grey water tanks or walking through the unit unless you purchase an overpriced one-size-fits-all package is disgusting, and the people pushing and complying with it should be ashamed. We won't be going back, and you shouldn't either.

He also helped me repair my screen door, fixed a cabinet door, and showed me how to properly drain my water heater. Solid 5 stars.
