I was immediately struck by the welcoming atmosphere of Mystic Table. Our waitress made my party and me feel comfortable, and our needs were always met. The environment was definitely unique, with an open kitchen, LEDs along the ceiling, and a disco ball at the center of the room. I was slightly confused with the theming, but nonetheless enjoyed my time there. First, we ordered our drinks. I appreciated the fact that they offered a few non-alcoholic drinks; I ordered a strawberry basil mocktail, which was thoroughly refreshing. According to the sign outside, the restaurant announced a new chef and updated menu. There was a variety of options available, including seafood, Italian dishes, and differing steaks. I ordered the 8oz filet cooked medium, and it was prepared to my liking. I had been told there would be fingerling potatoes on the side, but the portion ended up being two small potatoes. While that wasn't a major issue, I had expected a slightly more generous serving. We additionally ordered a side of cooked seasonal vegetables which consisted of zucchini and asparagus. They were well cooked and enjoyable, although fairly simple. Overall I had a great experience at Mystic Table. While I don't live nearby and likely would not make the drive solely to dine here again, I enjoyed my visit and would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. read more

The menu at Mystic Table is broad and interesting: Part steakhouse and part Italian Bistro. We dined on the second day of their new menu, with a new chef. That caused some issues for the staff, who had to check with the kitchen before answering some questions. That said, our server, Krystal, was terrific. She was friendly and came over to check on us several times, but never hovering. The manager, Rob, did the same. Our food was a bit inconsistent. The Tuna Tartare had a nice Caribbean taste (rather than the usual oriental). However, I don't believe the tuna was sushi grade, as it was a but grainy. My chicken Saltimbocca was terrific - perfectly cooked and I could taste all of the ingredients. The branzino had a really nice taste and was perfectly cooked, although the skin should have been removed before serving. I think that the owner intended a San Juan nightclub feel that is just a bit off. The chairs have large wooden frames that don't quite fit. They are also low and the seat cushions feel sat out. Beyond that, the overall decor is smooth and open. I may give it another shot, especially once everyone settles in with the new menu. read more

I am going to first give the good part. The waitress was very nice. She filled our water glasses and checked on us. The food was good. And the ambiance was beautiful. That being said there are some things that definitely need be worked on. 1) my husband ordered the whole red snapper. Though tasty it had too much tartar sauce on the bottom of the plate and was extremely messy. He should have been offered a wet towel to clean up. 2) I ordered a medium steak. Thank goodness I can tolerate it, it came rare. 3) The prices were very high. The à la carte situation was a bit much. The meal would have at least had one to two sides at other steak houses. 4) The fact that this was my birthday, It was acknowledged at the end of the meal. My experience felt like any other day. I don't like to be hovered over, but it was supposed to be a special day. And just felt like it was ordinary. I want this restaurant to succeed. For a restaurant that's only been open a week, they're doing a great job! It's definitely on the pricier side, but the vibe is cozy and stylish. Oddly enough, the bathroom was a showstopper. Very girl-friendly and perfect for selfies. Later in the evening, the restaurant transitions into a lounge, which I'm looking forward to experiencing. We had the pleasure of meeting Aastha, one of the partners, who was warm and hospitable. Gissepi, the GM, was polite and very knowledgeable about the drink menu. Sidney, our server, was such a sweetheart. She was down-to-earth, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. Now, the food... wow. The Mystic Lobster & Shrimp Mafaldine was to die for. It was incredibly flavorful. The mac and cheese could easily stand alone as an entrée; it was that good (and addictive!). The steak was a beautiful, juicy cut, though I wasn't a fan of the heavy char from the grill. If they ease up on those char marks, it would be perfect. The drinks were impressive! My friends and I had 8 pm reservations yesterday for my 30th birthday. We liked the vibe, although the music was very loud, to the point where we could barely hear the server. Which is whatever, but we ordered drinks (which were the best things that we all ordered) and put in some appetizers (which never came). Then when my filet came out, that I ordered medium rare, came out well done, so I sent it back and was so disappointed that I didn't even want them to remake it. They have dancers that come out and have someone continually videoing them with a super bright light, which I get for marketing, but I wish they'd put more effort into the food than having the dancers. Last night we had the pleasure of dining at Mystic Table, where we secured four coveted seats at the Chef's Table. From the moment we arrived, it was clear we were in for something special. The space strikes a perfect balance between elegant and trendy, with upbeat music and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for the evening. After being warmly seated, we prepared to embark on a culinary journey inspired by the Mediterranean regions of Spain and Italy, thoughtfully curated by Executive Chef Yurima Nunez. Guests have the option to add a crafted wine pairing for each course for an additional $75, but our group decided to explore the cocktail menu instead, and we were glad we did. First Course The evening began with boquerones, delicately dressed in vinegar and parsley olive oil, served alongside pitted gordal olives, roasted red peppers, and crisp tostada slices. The dish delivered a perfect balance of savory and briny flavors that instantly awakened our palates and set the stage for the courses to follow. Second Course Next came croquettes filled with short rib and béchamel. Perfectly fried on the outside and creamy on the inside, these were dangerously addictive. Chef Yuri paired them with her house BBQ sauce and toum, a bold garlic aioli emulsion that elevated every bite. We easily could have devoured several more, but with four courses still ahead, restraint was necessary. Third Course The grilled pulpo arrived beautifully plated over a bed of homemade romesco sauce, finished with toasted hazelnuts and grilled onions. While grilled octopus is something we have enjoyed in many places, pairing it with romesco and hazelnuts was a brilliant twist. The smoky, nutty, and slightly sweet flavors worked together flawlessly. Needless to say, not a single bite was left behind. Fourth Course Then came the dish that truly surprised us: lobster risotto. I will admit that risotto is not usually my go to dish, but this one completely changed my mind. It was rich and flavorful without being heavy or overly salty. The best way to describe it is that it felt like paella and risotto had a baby. The deep seafood flavor you would expect from a great paella was present throughout the risotto, topped with a whole lobster and generous pieces folded into the dish. Easily one of the standout plates of the night. Fifth Course The fifth course featured sliced filet mignon over whipped mashed potatoes, served with asparagus and what might honestly be the best carrot I have ever tasted. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked with precision. The mashed potatoes were creamy, garlicky, and comforting, while the asparagus was lightly seasoned and perfectly al dente. And then there was the carrot. Simple, yes, but unbelievably flavorful. It was so good we asked Chef Yuri for the recipe, and she graciously shared it. Moments like that add an extra layer of warmth to the entire experience. Sixth and Final Course Dessert brought chocolate and Nutella filled fried dough balls topped with meringue. The first bite instantly transported me back to childhood, like biting into a warm homemade chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven. Gooey, sweet, and nostalgic. I even asked for a cold glass of milk to go with it, and at that moment I was completely in heaven. Final Thoughts Mystic Table has officially become one of our new favorite spots, and we will absolutely be back. Chef Yuri is clearly something special. Her passion, talent, and humility shine through every plate. Each course was thoughtfully balanced and full of flavor. And while the food stole the show, the cocktails were equally impressive. Our group enjoyed the Illusionist, a cinnamon and cardamom old fashioned, and a custom cucumber gin and tonic, all expertly crafted and delicious. If you have not experienced Mystic Table yet, I highly recommend going soon before the secret gets out. My only small note is that the tasting menu portions are surprisingly generous. Each course felt like a full dish rather than a traditional tasting portion. That said, I am not complaining at all since we happily took leftovers home for today. Mystic Table exceeded every expectation. We showed up after missing our reservation (my work schedule ran over), and even though they were fully booked, they still made it work. We ended up sitting at the back bar right in front of the kitchen. My husband wasn't sold at first, but it ended up being the best seat in the house. Watching the kitchen in action was unreal. Every plate coming out looked incredible. Taylor was our waitress and she was fantastic. It was our first time, so we needed some guidance, and she walked us through everything without ever rushing us. Super attentive, very personable, and made the whole experience feel comfortable and not forced. The food was on another level. Oysters were perfect, melted in your mouth. My husband got the lobster pasta dish and it was ridiculously good. I ordered the sea bass and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best I've ever had. Nobu doesn't even compare. I had an espresso martini which was great, and when I couldn't decide on a white wine, Taylor brought over Giuseppe, the GM and sommelier. He asked a few questions, let me taste a couple options, and actually walked me through pairing it with my food. It felt very intentional and not like your typical wine service. At some point we mentioned this was our first date night in a long time because our schedules never line up, and whether that stuck with them or not, they came back with complimentary dessert shots, which was a really nice touch. If you didn't already know , Thursdays are for the ladies ! There is a great meal deal for just $35. Which includes a delicious espresso martini Give it a try ! Service was alright. Drinks too forever & were waaaaaaay too sweet. Got the meatball appetizer, bread was either overcooked or stale. Then tried the Mac and cheese, brisket flatbread & alla vodka. Mac cheese was the highlight. Brisket flatbread was soggy. Alla vodka came missing my chicken & genuinely had no flavor. All of the food took forever & came out slightly warm almost cold. For dessert we tried the strawberry cheesecake which is definitely not house made- and a pistachio cake which was very good. Staff should always have sampled food before they are attempting to sell to the public. Giuseppe was fabulous very helpful & cares about the restaurant. This was a 10/10 experience from the service, to the food and atmosphere! We started with the grilled octopus as an appetizer and the sauce it came with added great flavor! I ordered the Mystic Lobster & Shrimp Mafaldine pasta dish and it was phenomenal! Everyone else at the table agreed it was the best entree we ordered. The sauce is made from actual lobster so it tastes similar to a lobster bisque, as opposed to a marinara, and there were big chunks of lobster and shrimp throughout. For dessert, we tried the rice pudding, chocolate lava cake and the Nutella filling donuts (tasted like southern made biscuits ). My favorite dessert was the rice pudding but EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing. And the best part, our amazing waitress, Crystal, held our 6 month old baby so my wife could eat, as they weren't too busy yet...she was the sweetest waitress we've EVER had!!! Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we've had! It was quite expensive for such awful food! We were really looking forward to this dinner as the promotion was magic tableside, 50% off bottles of wine, and $18 pasta. I looked at the menu and the pasta looked really good and quite a few different options so we made a reservation to go with another couple. First bad part was that they said that they didn't have the $18 pasta anymore, that they changed their menu. How do you change a menu when you are advertising for a special on a specific date and take a credit card number to reserve it?? We checked the ad and it clearly showed the date on it as the date we were there. After speaking to the management they offered us 3 boring options so we declined. We ordered the crab cakes notice the (s) that makes that plural.... We figured each couple would have one to share. Instead one crab cake came out that was extremely runny, the four of us split it. It was okay. And then our meals came out so overcooked that my husband couldn't eat his filet. He ordered it medium rare and it came out well done, the other one was ordered medium and came out well done, my lamb of lamb was ordered medium rare and came out somewhere between medium and medium well. The pasta dinner was ok. The rosemary au jus with my lamb was very good so I covered my lamb in that so that I could get it down since the lamb was so dry. I has asked the server prior to ordering what the portion size was and was told that it was a very large portion showing with his hands. I was quite surprised to find three small charred pieces on my plate not a rack of lamb. They did offer to remake our meals but nobody was interested in having it remade. They also offered to give us a free piece of dessert but nobody wanted dessert since they hadn't really ate their dinner..... It was very disappointing! And then to have to pay over $300 for that awful meal, STAY AWAY! read more

I joined mystic table for brunch and enjoyed the Benedict royal with a mystic mimosa both were perfectly executed my server Sidney was knowledgeable about the menu and had a very welcoming and warm presence. I also had the pleasure to meet one of the managers Rob who I watched talk to every table and ensure everything was to the liking of the guests. We ordered two Tito martinis and we charged $19 because they said it was supposed to be an espresso martini. An espresso martini is made with espresso vodka, not Tito when we asked her to be taken off. They refused terrible terrible. My pork was horrible. The potatoes were hard. The pork was hard.
