This place is right next to downtown Apex, and it has a cute outdoor area. The service was fine, but the food was just decent according to all of us at the table. It wasn't bad, but didn't feel very authentic. The spicy rice however was VERY spicy! They did have gluten free options- they had Tamari they could substitute for soy sauce. I would give mine 4 stars but everyone else didn't like their food as much. I gave the place overall three stars due to the atmosphere being a little weird. Wouldn't *not* recommend though! My daughter and I tried the drunken noodles, spring rolls, som tum, and dumplings. Everything was delicious. I look forward to trying something new when we return. I will say that the drunken noodles taste more like pad se ew. They were sweet and spicy and did not have the traditional basil, fish sauce umami flavor or any vegetables. read more

Best Thai food in RTP, hands down. The first time I had their pad see ewe, I was taken by how flavorful it was while still remaining true to this classic dish. Have heard so much hype about Myra that we were excited to try it. The interior is very spare, modern with some interesting anime figurine decor. Service was attentive overall. We were however disappointed with the food. The Som Tum was good...very garlicky and flavorful with fish sauce & lime juice. We asked for mild but it definitely carried a good kick. The steamed dumplings strangely resembled frozen shu mai. It was lackluster for us & plus it wasn't worth the $9 for 4 very small mediocre shu mai. Drunken noodles is one of my favorite dishes but this was disappointing. There was a lot of chicken & egg but where was the noodles??? You could see how small the portion is in the pic since there's a dinner knife in there for scale. The tiny bit of noodles was buried under that small mound. The roasted duck ramen was a very small portion as well...the portion size was equal to 1 pack of ramen. . We are all pretty small eaters. Overall really good food. We got all food at a level 4/10 level spice... which was definitely SPICY . So don't underestimate Thai spice. Their lunch specials come with a veg spring roll. I ordered veg drunken noodles with tofu and my husband got Crazy Fire Ramen. The drunken noodles had a hint of sweetness at the start but spice kicks in eventually. My only issue with the drunken noodle was the tofu pieces were hard; almost like they weren't fresh or were over sautéed. My husband enjoyed his crazy fire ramen, he said the flavors were really good and he had no complaints. My husband also got Tom yum soup which he liked. I got Thai iced tea and husband got a margarita. Both really good. I definitely recommend eating here, ambience and service was on point! My wife and I ordered lunch specials, and I was fairly pleased with my drunken noodle with beef. The beef was a tad on the tough side and portions were smaller than I expected but otherwise the flavor and taste of the dish was spot on. Service was a bit hit or miss, as I was served another table's entree at first. I paired this with a Thai iced tea which was delicious albeit a bit on the pricier side. I had low expectations for a Thai restaurant in Apex but decided to give it a try since it was new and nearby. I was completely shocked that I enjoyed my dish so much! I had the pad Thai with chicken and was surprised by the generous amount of chicken included in the dish. The noodles were cooked appropriately, nothing was clumpy, and the chicken wasn't rubbery. Things to nitpick: chicken came out in huge cuts that required me to cut them down further. I have never had chicken this large in a Thai noodle dish and it was annoying. I would have much preferred the chicken be bite size, though not at the cost of being dry. This is a casual place, with both indoor and outdoor options. I really like the large and covered patio. I have only been the one time so I am unsure if the food will be consistent, but based on this one visit, I'd return! read more

We missed the Sunday brunch specials by approximately 10 minutes but ended up with some delicious alternatives for a late lunch or early dinner. I tried the drunken noodles with chicken which was outstanding. The noodles were super wide but thin and perfectly cooked. The sauce was amazing. I would definitely order this again. Hubs had the pad Thai with chicken which he said was very tasty. And, my little man had the dumplings, a spring roll and shared some of our meals. He loved the dumplings and ate the samples we gave him from each of our meals. There is not a kids menu which I am totally fine with but they do offer sides of chicken and rice which can be great options for kids. They don't have chocolate milk but our server made some hot chocolate and brought a glass of ice for the little man. He was super pleased about that. I tasted it and it was deliciously chocolatey. Great addition to the area. The service was quite friendly and prompt. The food options were plentiful and all tasted fantastic from the pad Thai to the dipping sauce that came with the spring rolls. The interior was clean and there were plenty of seating options including a fairly large outdoor seating area. The drinks including their coffee and tea options were also quite nice. Prices were a bit in the higher end, but at the same time the portions were quite filling. One thing though, while the lighting fixtures inside were fun and cool, they barely provided any actual light. Went in on Christmas Eve for lunch, we were the only ones in the cafe. The server/hostess was very sweet! We got one order of egg rolls, but the kitchen gave us an extra free of change. The Pad Thai was absolutely perfect, and one of my favorites of all time. It was a wonderful experience and is such a cute spot for lunch! read more

Love Myra's! First and foremost the staff is beyond attentive!! It's like they can predict what you want before you even grab their attention. The Crazy Fire Ramen is absolutely amazing. I had the Tofu Pad Thai. Tofu was nicely fried. Pad Thai was flavorful, but is on the slightly sweeter side. Sauce felt like it was store bought versus authentic Thai food. This place is so cute! We have been to Apex many times, and this place wasn't quite on our radar yet, but you should definitely check it out! The service was prompt and very pleasant, the food is definitely the star of the show! When we sat down we were automatically given a glass of water but the hubs and I opted for Thai tea as well! The pork bao had lots of flavor and a nice refreshing crunch with the pickled takuwan. The aforementioned star of the show was the Duck noodles though. My husband got the spicy fried rice (which he loved- very authentic) but he was jealous of my dish! We will definitely be back and ordering two plates of the duck! Just made our third visit to Myra Cafe last week...we're in love and addicted! You know how you pick your favorite dish and have a hard time getting away from that because it's just so darned good and reliable? Well, that HAS happened at Myra, but their food is so good we've tried several different dishes... And they're all our favorites! Each one is so full of flavors and healthy, fresh ingredients. Our first visit was in the Fall, and the weather was so nice we were able to sit outside in their beautifully covered and lighted patio with our neighbors (and I can safely also say they loved every aspect of our visit also)! Last visit there were three of us: my son ordered the Neua Ka Tar - Asian food is his fave and for a skinny guy, he sure did pack it away, even after helping us polish off the order of Bonchon Chicken Wings we started with... yummmm!! He let me taste the sauce from his main dish and it's so flavorful. My hubby ordered The Drunken Noodles with chicken...I've had this before so had to try his again, Ono delicious!! The noodles are so big! And my Pineapple Fried Rice was a perfect combo of flavors, particularly since it has both chicken AND shrimp ...and such a good portion I had it again the next day and relived the happiness. We love that this restaurant is so easily accessible from home, and the people who work here are just so friendly and thoughtful and welcoming. You can order food at the spice level you prefer, and everything we've had has been prepared perfectly. Myra has me actually perusing the menu and choosing new things each time (we've also had their Cashew Chicken and Spicy Fried Rice with chicken, delish)! We've never ordered drinks, but I'm thinking some Evil Jungle Noodles and a cocktail sound good for our next date night!
