Spicy Fried Rice
Courtnay B.

The food was amazing! We had the Spicy Basil Rice with Chicken and Drunken Noodle with Chicken, and enjoyed both. The dining experience was not what I expected for a sit down restaurant with a cocktail menu. The service friendly but rushed. The cocktail I ordered never came, and the food was served as it was ready - mine came out first, then my husband's 3 min later. The food came out very quickly, so I didn't bother reminding our server about the drink.

Everyone that worked here was very friendly and we had great service. For our first visit it was just my husband and I. We started with the Pork Belly buns. The flavoring was good but the buns seemed a little dry. They were just ok and not something we would try again there. For my meal I had the Drunken Noodles and they absolutely did not disappoint. My husband had the Crazy Fire Ramen of which he also enjoyed. I enjoyed mine to the point it would be hard for me to try something else next time. There was a lot of flavor to it and perfect spice and a lot of chicken - and the broad noodles were a good choice. Happy that we finally tried it out and look forward to going back again in the future.

Cute little restaurant with great service. Ordered beef Drunken noodles sooo tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice and spartan clean restaurant. Very friendly staff. They need to update their online menu because it contains stuff that are not on the menu when you walk into the shop. So beware. I know it should be expected it but the fried spring rolls came straight out of the microwave pippin hot and was just average. The crazy fire, Ramen while tasty was a bit unusual. The plate came with a knife which you needed to cut the food into more manageable sized pieces . I've never seen that at any other Thai restaurant. The food is just as good as any other Thai restaurant. However, the prices are a bit over the top. Maybe try their lunch, which is a little more reasonable .

We wanted to continue supporting local businesses and Myra happened to be open on New Year's Day! This was my first time trying them and they did not disappoint! Service was quick and attentive. Pricing was fair considering the quantity and quality. The ambiance was quite cute with various character decor pieces. The food I ordered... Drunken Noodles - the noodle flavor and texture was ON POINT, i almost wish I had less chicken and more noodles for my dish. Spicy level was light. Cashew Chicken - was a part of their lunch special and included a fried spring roll. The SAUCE was delicious and I couldn't honestly just ate that with the rice and cashews. BonChon Chicken - the flavor was there. The crispiness wasn't AS crunchy as I expected it to be, but flavor and tenderness was good!

Great food and service. We are regulars. Tonight we had pineapple fried rice. Excellent!

This is a nice place and we need somewhat healthy restaurants in Apex. It is individually owned that I appreciate. All the food we had was good. I loved that the fried spring roll was GF. They were very accommodation with GF and cooked items especially for us. There were interested knick knacks adorning the place and a very large outdoor area. We will be back.

Legitimately might be the best tasting Drunken Noodles I've ever had. While it's not the same recipe I've seen typically (no onions or peppers and it has shredded carrots and bean sprouts), the homemade chili paste they use is unbelievably flavorful. Huge amounts of chicken included as well. Potentially a little pricier than some hole in the wall spots, but worth every penny.

I finally got a chance to visit this restaurant and was pleasantly pleased. The staff was very nice. The restaurant itself was very cozy and clean. We ordered the shrimp pad thai...the pineapple fried rice...chicken wings..spring rolls and pork belly bahn mis. All and I mean ALL of the food was amazing. The ingredients were fresh. The portion sizes were adequate and the flavor was spot on. The shrimp in the rice and noodle dishes were huge. I highly recommend this spot.

A friend and I had a great lunch here today! We arrived at 11:30, just as they opened, and we were able to order and get our food very quickly. I loved the drunken noodles. They had a nice spicy kick without being overwhelming. My friend enjoyed her Pad Thai, with more sweetness than spice. Both entrees were from the lunch menu and included a small spring roll. Service was friendly and efficient, and our water glasses were kept full. Prices were reasonable, and portions were perfect for lunch. There is plenty of parking on the side, out front, and across the street. The space is small and modern and filled up quickly, even on a rainy Tuesday, so try to arrive early.

stop calling it BonChon Chicken. The taste is clearly chinese., more like General Tso's

this place is a joke, empty at 7pm, Workers don't speak english, Greasy fried rice and pretentious chicken that's called bonchon chicken doesn't even come close. I ordered their pad thai and the noodles are falling apart, too sweet and sauce has too much corn starch. nope that would be our last order from this place.

This is our second time here in a month. We really like the ambiance, menu options and that they are willing to make any meal vegetarian. The staff is so nice and the food is obviously made to order. I got the duck ramen both times. I liked it better the first time. My husband got the crazy fire ramen vegetarian and my son got the cashew chicken. We were surprised when he ordered it as he usually prefers vegetarian. It was hands down the best meal. None of us ever order that and it was so good! My son keeps asking me when we can return.

This adorable mom and pop thai cafe is wonderful, and the food is fresh and delicious. There is plenty of outdoor, covered, dog friendly seating and a nice but small indoor area. It's clean and cozy. They have a small coffee and bakery section at the front. The food is amazing, and the egg rolls are the best I've ever had. The garlic noodles have the best flavor, but take the spicy pepper seriously... one pepper was hot. Ask for no spice if heat isn't your thing. Not shown is the pad thai. I had a thai sister in law for many years, and she taught me to make a good pad thai. This is a GREAT pad thai. Either dish is a solid choice, and you won't be disappointed. The portions are healthy, and prices are fair. I will be back....

This is great place. Food and service has always great and fresh. I would recommend to anyone to give it a try. Deserts are wind flu.

Food is good, prices are high. Food is at par with other Thai restaurants in the area. More of a take out or quick dining place.

Food is delicious. Was hoping for more than 3 shrimp with my entree. Taste made up for scarcity.

The garlic parmesan rub left a pool of garlic in the tray that was an oily mess. The boneless fritters themselves had a strong outer fried shell. Took a bit to dig a fork into. But once you got in, the chicken was an oily mess, there was just a pool of oil inside each bite. I would say my stomach on average is pretty strong and can handle a good amount, but these boneless fritters took me out and I had stomach pain the next day. Would stay away from these and just order normal wings or something else on the menu.

She was hungry, I was smart enough to know better than to go straight home -- so, impromptu Friday night date! We've driven past Woody's Sports Tavern in Morrisville probably 100 times and never stopped. Big mistake. TL;DR -- we should have gone sooner. Parking was easy (though that lot does get crowded later). We got seated right away and met our server, Sierra. We told her it was our first time, and she lit up -- shocked we hadn't been before, excited to give recommendations, and genuinely fun to chat with. Always nice when you can tell someone actually likes where they work. Food rundown: I went Patty Melt with fries, my partner went South Beach wrap with tots. Both were solid, and ironically we each liked the other's sides better... so, swapsies. Service was fast, portions were big (half of mine came home with me), and the price/value was right on point. Overall? Good vibes, hearty food, great server. Definitely glad we finally stopped in -- and we'll be back.

For instance, $18 or $19 for a dozen wings, but they are large and of very good quality. I went with the chargrilled, so you expect a little burn on them. I liked them, but the bleu cheese went a long way to balancing out the flavor of the rub. And they do offer different food and drink specials each day, so check the boards in the restaurant, since the website isn't kept very up to date. They do offer a good variety of draft beers. Not the largest amount, but they did feature some quality crafts. And I give them credit, even at 5 pm on a football Sunday, the men's room was kept pretty clean! I chatted with one of the managers for a while after she was off her shift, and we had a very nice conversation. Very personable staff and I appreciate that.

I am a bit bummed to have come to sit outside and not received table service for an hour -- we went inside to order drinks and had to flag a waiter down for food service as well as go inside for menus. I was additionally bummed to hear that in order to do two different sauces for a dozen wings, you have to pay a $4 up charge (essentially, you must pay for 6 wings separately in the flavor you desire rather than a dozen split to two flavours.) The staff is beyond friendly and happy to converse if they have time available. It does seem that with a full house table service will suffer, but I do see myself returning for the atmosphere for game night as the staff were nothing but kind, just seemed to be pressed on time.
