I chose WRV for two primary reasons: two years ago after a long flight one of my eyes felt scratched accompanied with a lot of discomfort. I didn't live in the area and started making calls on a Saturday morning to try and find an optometrist who might be able to help. My first phone call was to WRV and I was encouraged to come by for a visit that very same day. The staff was incredibly professional and welcoming and I was in and out within 20 minutes. I really liked the service. The second reason is they are local and, when I moved back to the area, they returned my phone inquiry immediately with relation to scheduling an appointment.
My first scheduled visit went well with attending doctor and staff very professional kind and and focused.
From a marketing and customer service perspective:
The frames need a bit more updating and arrangement
The eyeglass " fitter" was not well versed in the product lines and seemed rather put out when I asked a question concerning frame construction. Her response, with a bit of attitude: "well as you can see the brand is "...". ( honestly! )
I ordered two pair and will take my prescription elsewhere to find more choices
One pair of glasses and my contacts arrived in record time. I've called twice to ask about my sunglasses and after 6 weeks they still haven't come in nor has the " eye glass fitter" followed up with any updates. I'll work around this in the future by ordering frames elsewhere. I'll manage my own customer service issues... kind of what I'm doing now!
One last item: the foyer/ entry and interior halls are narrow and small. There isn't room to move with Covid protocol. I really think more effort should be put into place to separate customers. read more
