2-3 years AFTER you are told your bill was "paid in full", they come back with additional "charges" that were allegedly overlooked by their own incompetent staff. The glasses were returned because they were made incorrectly to begin with. So add extortion to poor service and worse quality, I would not even send someone I didn't like there! read more

I have nothing good to say about Clear Vision. DO NOT GO HERE. I went for an eye exam and glasses. The glasses took nearly a month and when they arrived I could not see out of the right lens. They sent the glasses back to have the lens replaced and nearly a month later the second lens was worse. They also replaced the left lens, for unknown reasons as it was fine, and then I couldn't see out of either lens. I had them put the left lens back in order to have at least one eye to see out of. I was forced to go elsewhere to get a usable pair of glasses. To make matters worse they billed me for a second eye exam. I wrote the billing department and sent the bill from the second provider as proof that I was forced to go elsewhere. After repeated attempts they eventually turned it into a collection agency. Again, DO NOT GO HERE. They are hacks! If it were possible to give negative stars I would. read more

These woman are really rude! It all started at the reception desk at check in, not even a hello, just fill this out over there! The assistant to the doctor was rude as well, wasn't even busy at that time. Then it was time to get glasses and it was rude time again, she didn't want to be there or answer questions. I have to say I am very impressed by this eye center. Up to date and stylish glasses, inexpensive and expensive glasses available, and a large selection of many kinds. Mostly, I would like to compliment the help. Very polite and patient, I am one who takes a long time in making a decision and I can say she never lost her smile!! She stayed patient and helped make my decision. I stated that I needed my new sunglasses in a hurry since I was leaving for a trip. Took my husband here with an 'eye emergency' and I can't complain. Extremely neat and clean with free coffee. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Quick service. Private parking. Easy access once you find the place. Across from Target and Lowes. read more

The doctors are fine, the staff is a totally different issue. Billing is always incorrect, and when you call for answers, no one knows anything. Going through their billing department is a negative situation, and going through the Brecksville Surgery billing department is a nightmare. read more

Very bad do not go there. I had a routine eye exam an got an eye infection in both eyes a few days later. They said I had Blephartis in both eyes, upper and lower eyelids. Very painful, eyes were inflamed, red and irritated for several days. Not happy with the resolution by Clear Vision. read more

Went here after hearing good things about this eye center. Sadly nothing but a headache came from this place. It all started when I was brought back by a guy whom I figured was the dr to only learn 30 minutes after talking with him he was just an assistant. Ok no big deal but still don't know his name. Then i said multiple times when making the apt and when I got there filling out paperwork I was there for glasses exam and only that. I guess the guy ran all the tests for contacts and was pretty annoyed when I said after I don't need contacts. I was clearly there for glasses obviously I was wearing my glasses while there. Then this is what pisses me off I drove and told them I can't have my eyes dilated because I have to drive myself back home. This guy says it won't mess with my vision. But I couldn't see I even stuck around for a good two hours in town just so I didn't have to trek 30minutes back home blind. THEN I WAS LEFT IN A ROOM FOR 30 minutes for literally no reason the dr came in tried to convince me to get LASIK surgery said not interested then hand me my script and I was free to leave. WHY THE HECK DID THAT TAKE SO LONG. ALSO THE GIRLS AT THE FRONT DESK ARE VERY UNHELPFUL. asked where the women glasses are located only seen men's and kids. Never got an answer. They just looked at me like I was speaking Turkish. read more

Very clean large selection of frames and sunglasses. Doctor is always on time and thorough .

I ordered lenses from the optical center. I kept my current frame that I had used for the last 4 years without incident. The new lenses they put into my frame were heavy and my glasses were leaving big red indents on my nose. I went back for multiple adjustments with no relief. I turned the lenses back in and requested a refund which they gave me. However they refused to refund the insurance company stating I had refused to allow them to adjust my glasses. Very poor customer service and very poor product delivery. My whole family goes there for their eye care and we will now take our business elsewhere. read more

Dr Schmid and his Specialist were wonderful with my daughter, husband, myself and especially my 15 yr old son. My son was the only one with perfect vision and Dr Schmid 's sense of humor made for a pleasant, personable but professional exam. He and his Specialist/Assistant answered all our questions and provided "insight" and information about vision that we always wanted to know. The optician staff and reception staff were accommodating, courteous, and assisted on the right fit for our eyewear. The office is pleasant and updated with TVs and coffee while you wait - which is not very long. Pleasant experience for the last 2 yearly checkups! read more
