I had a great experience at Broad View Eye Clinic who listened to me, got me in for an appt in 2 days, while also monitoring for earlier canceled appointments. If I would have waited the almost 3 weeks for the appointment, I could have suffered loss of vision due to not having glaucoma drops. Lori, working at an eye clinic, had no idea and didn't care one iota. She's too busy reciting Dr. bozo's name over and over again. The next person I talked with at this office was about transferring my records to the other clinic. They told me my prescription was expired. I had to tell her again that I have 2 glaucoma test results that need transferred. She was dumbfounded. She said they couldn't send the records because there wasn't paperwork on file. She wanted me to come pick it up a form in 7 degree weather. She was not sure if she was "allowed" to send the form via email. Seriously. Stay away from this place. They don't care about your eyes.

After eye exams are complete, you are required to make payment before you leave. I questioned why it would not go through my insurance, and was told I only have a co-pay. I call the office to question that and was referred to another number for billing questions. I was told they had not yet received the payment from my insurance and I could call back in a week or so if I didn't get my reimbursement. A second call to billing 3 weeks later, I was told they have not received the insurance payment and to call back in August (a month and a half down the road, my insurance sent them a check 5/26). I questioned why the office made me pay all upfront without sending to insurance and was told that some office staff don't know how to collect. So easy to take the money from the rip, yet a long and winded process to get my money back! My advice is if you want a good eye doctor, go see Dr. Dowd but DO NOT pay all upfront or you'll be in hounding them for a refund.
