They advertise promotions that are false and when you ask if they will honor it, they give an excuse about how they're not familiar with what's advertised to the public. I do not appreciate being lied to and enticed by an advertisement creating deception to get people in their doors. Awful way to do business and I immediately cancelled my appointment. I also found it strange that I BOOKED through the special promotion link and when I asked for her to verify it, SHE asked ME what it was. Why am I being held responsible for your advertising and marketing department that it's my duty to report on what was stated clear as day on their website and IG. This is the second MyEyeDr location that I have received NO customer service picking up my new glasses. Today, the lady just put the case in front of me and opened it and said here's your glasses. She didn't put them on me to see if they were adjusted correctly, to see if the no line bifocals were where they should be or anything! Just said we suggest you wear them for a week and come back if they give you headaches! When you spend that much money on eyewear someone needs to at least check to see if they fit correctly, the bifocal are correct etc! It was very obvious that this person was new, and that's OK, but there needs to be somebody that knows what they're doing working beside her until she's trained correctly. I would definitely not recommend this place if she's a person that keeps helping people! I will be going back, next week, to another MyEyeDr location to get my glasses adjusted because they're not correct!! What happened to customer service?! I was the only one in the store! read more

Staff at this location are knowledgeable and efficient and easy to work with. The Eye Doctor changes but they are always pleasant and kind and quick and on point every time. They got me in one day because I was worried about a stye in my eye. same day visit. and the doctor gave me good and reasonable and realistic advice. I've been going to this location for about 15 years. It changed over to My Eye Dr some years back. I went in today for a new pair of glasses. Everyone seemed like they just wanted to go home (it was about 2:30 in the afternoon). I was informed my prescription had expired last week and would need a new eye exams. OK - I understand but they didn't need to be so rude about it. Acted like since I didn't have a prescription I wouldn't be buying anything today and I was wasting their time. I went there for my eye exam . The reception did a great job checking me in quickly. The horrible experience came directly from the eye doctor. She kept talking about me not buying their additionally service. I was there for my regular exam and had never experienced the push sell like this from any other doctors! She kept talking about this till we finished our exam and told me that the price I would pay would be as much as I paid for my drink! And I should be concerned more about my eyes! She kept saying the same thing till I reached the reception like trying to humiliate me in front of people! If you like forced selling direct from your doctor, please visit this location. Really hate this place more every year. Doctors are fine but the unprofessional front of house staff are terrible. Desk staff turnover like they work in retail and dealing with them is like being waited on in a fast food restaurant. No sense of professional decorum at all. The worst part is that John is gone - he supposedly moved to another location- and the existing staff has no experience in properly adjusting glasses. And after years of mailing my contacts to my home they now refuse to do so. Good thing I need to pick up a new pair of glasses in a couple of weeks and can pick up my contacts then. read more

My little one and I have had the best experience at My Eye Dr. We were welcomed by Eileen and taken care of with courtesy and directions to complete paperwork with seamless instructions. Then, Scott performed all the test with patience and instructions to ensure we had knowledge of each step. We proceeded to have the eye exam by Dr. Schultz, she was absolutely phenomenal, she was thorough and took her time to ensure a great testing experience. We ended with Matt, he was very helpful and patient with ensuring we had the best frame that was accurate to our face frame, took adjustments, and very good conversation. The entire team provided the best experience. My family and I have had exams for many many years. This is absolutely top notch customer care and phenomenal experience. We felt like we were a patient to for years, they really care and want to know of their patients. It will be the only place my family and I come to for many years to come. read more

The service in the optical shop is atrocious. For the third time in three weeks I waited for over 25 minutes for someone to help me with an adjustment to glasses I purchased at the shop and no one offered any help. And, there was no other customer in the optical shop. The doctors have been excellent. However, avoid the optical shop. It is very poorly run. read more

Gave me the wrong prescription. As amazing as it sounds, this company gave me a full exam for glasses and contacts and made a big mistake in the prescription. I know this because after getting new contacts and glasses from a different eye doctor one year later, I can now see much more clearly. This is not a matter of my eyes changing, I was flat out given the wrong scrip which cost me hundreds of dollars for glasses and contacts. I will never use again or recommend MyEyeDr. read more

This was my first time to this eye dr. My sister and I both had appointments and had both called our insurance carrier the day before so there wouldn't be any surprises. Well we get there and my sisters pricing was an additional 40.00 for a "retinal scan" that come to find out was optional. They didn't tell us that up front so we were scammed into paying this optional scan. Then for my appt, it should have been 75.00 total and they tried charging me 295.00. I ended up not being able to get my eyes done because of the price but I called my insurance after and come to find out, anything they were trying to charge was optional. They let me cancel my appt and not get what I needed because i couldn't pay for these optional things. this place will scam you for everything you have. Know your insurance thoroughly before you go in. I will never be back to this place. read more

I would like to start off with I have have never been to an eye appointment that last 3 hours. I thought the service was good, but when you are 1st there and then getting fitted for the glasses with a trainer for 3 hours, this is not acceptable, my time is very valuable. I waited over a month to receive my glasses because the lab made a mistake and no one calls you with an update, advising you of the situation. So, I don't think I will use them anymore. I would like to speak with the corporate office, I paid too much to be treated like this. read more

I have mixed feelings about my visit yesterday at MyEyeDr in North Dallas. My doctor was Dr. Pacheco and I hope not to see her again. She lacks "bedside manner", was abrupt, curt and just not friendly. I almost walked out during my appointment because of the way she was speaking to me. On the bright side, after my exam, I was assisted by Ashly with help finding new frames and placing my order. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, did not rush me, and spent a lot of time assisting me through the entire process, including understanding my insurance coverage. I will go back next year for my eye exam, but will select a different doctor. read more

I have been a patient here for several years, until today. I was 9 minutes late to my appointment and the doctor decided not to see me because they have a ten minute grace period. When I explained that I was there at the nine minute mark and they were assisting others, they did not care. Life happens. People are occasionally late. As a long term patient I would expect some grace and flexibility. They also constantly spam your email and phone with nonstop messages reminding you to make an appointment. read more

This place was wonderful until it was purchased by myeyedr. Now, there is absolutely zero customer service. I have been waiting on my glasses since February (it is now the end of June!). After multiple return trips in-person and numerous phone calls, I cannot get my glasses or a refund and no one has ever said, "We are sorry" or "We will make this right." In fact, no one communicates or says anything until I follow-up and check on my order status. Like I said, there is zero concern or care for customers. While I like Dr. Davis very much, my entire family of six will be taking our business elsewhere. I cannot continue to deal with a place that has had my money for 5 months and been unable to complete my order or issue a refund in all that time. Please check the date on all the reviews you read.
