I went to celebrate a graduation of a friend. Disclaimer: The review about the food might not be the same if you sat as a regular guest. Parking was easy on the streets and after getting to the elevator through a busy reception area with kids running around, we were greater by wonderful staff. The rooftop had beautiful views of the city of Glendale and one could guess the sea on the West. The servers were all very friendly and the bar served wonderful drinks. The appetizers were good ( brisket sliders, crispy sushi..) but as expected from a busy roof top located in a hotel, it certainly does not count as a foodie destination. The sushi spread that was offered later was average and the mains( chicken, beef slices, veggies) were nothing to write home about. A generous four stars for the atmosphere, the views and the friendliness of the staff. I would return to sit down, relax , have a drink and enjoy the views and the music. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. First started with asking for bottled water. Server brought us cups and poured our cups. We sensed a smell from the cups which smelled like bleach! We asked the water to smell it. He said "hey can never have something more clean then bleach". Brought us new cups and bottle of water.... We order hookah. Passion fruit cane mint from their premium hookah selection. Completely unsmokeable ! We advised the waiter and were told the hookah waiter has already left for the night! I had made a reservation with my best friend to celebrate my birthday. I specifically asked in my reservation to sit next to the window. When we arrived there was another party in front of us that did not have reservations. When they were seated they asked to be seated next to a window. Without having a reservation. When it was our turn they proceeded to try to sit us in the center of the restaurant. I told her I specifically reserved the window table. The hostess said that there is none available. I said yes I know because the one I reserved you gave it to the party ahead of us that did not have a reservation. (Mind you they were friends). She then made us wait 10 min to see if there was something management can do. She came back and said unfortunately we can't do anything. So for the inconvenience of me having to lose my table that I reserved to the party that did not have a reservation I asked them can we then take the couch for the inconvenience. She said those are only for reservations. I told her I made one and you gave my table away. Then she proceeded to say that they don't reserve tables. So after going back and forth with them, another hostess came and made it right by quickly getting a table ready next to the window for us. Our reservation was at 9pm. We didn't sit until 9:45pm. So it looks like this place (after always highly recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family) doesn't need a reservation that you can just walk in and take another persons table that they reserved. I work with a large company that we often go have hookah after work and this was one place we would come to. But I don't think I will be returning unless the hostess change. Mya is one of those rooftop spots that just gets it right--the view is beautiful, the vibe is relaxed but still feels a little special, and it's the kind of place you actually want to linger at instead of rushing out. What really made the night, though, was our server, Irina. She was genuinely kind and easy to talk to--not overly formal or robotic like you sometimes get, just very real and attentive. She checked in at the right moments, gave great suggestions, and made us feel taken care of without hovering. You can tell she actually cares about people having a good experience. The food and drinks were great too--everything tasted fresh and well put together, and nothing felt rushed. Overall, it just felt like a really good night out. Came up here for a late night drink when my family was in town staying here. The vibe is pretty chill and the views are pretty good. The service was pretty friendly, especially since they were almost closing and they were so nice to serve us. Didn't order any food on this visit because we just had eaten dinner, but wanted to try one of their fun cocktails. I ended up ordering a Passion De Cana which was pretty good. It was slightly a little on the sweet side, but still very enjoyable. Definitely a solid rooftop bar attached to a luxury boutique hotel. read more

Had such a great time at MYA Rooftop the atmosphere is super fun and lively without feeling overwhelming. Garen was amazing! He was attentive when we needed him but also gave us plenty of space to relax and chat, which I really appreciated. Easily the best rooftop views in Glendale overlooking the hills. Our marketing team had a happy hour here last week and the service, drinks and food were all amazing. Their moscow mule and mojito are amongst my favorite. You also can't go wrong with a spicy margarita. Bartenders were very friendly. Really nice spot to catch the sunset. My son went to dinner on Saturday for valentine's. The food was bad and he threw up when he got home. The raw salmon was bad fish! We called immediately that night, the manager said, "it was him who had a bad reaction"! Nobody else got sick was the response. I have never been anywhere, where a manager would respond that nobody else got sick. How many people need to get sick in order for you to realize that maybe something went wrong? Horrible attitude. Not only have they been avoiding my son his girlfriend or myself when we call, it's horrible that they don't wanna own up to bad fish. To take advantage of a young couple is even worse. Not even to call back and offer them another night or another dinner for another time. We will never go back nor will we ever recommend this. We also our business owners, and we would never do this to our customers. It's very unfortunate, that it's people like this that take advantage. I honestly loved the friendly atmosphere and felt so relaxed by the heaters and the food was 20/10 i ordered the New York steak and ate everything off that plate, the mami roll was wow!!! And I am picky ! Me and my boyfriend also got the tiramisu as desert and it's been a long time since I've had tiramisu this freaking good ! What a great resturant and all around great atmosphere! Let's first give what the 5stars go to - service - cleanliness - the staff Hands down Peter are sever along with the others was nothing but top notch service!!! I appreciate that he was so attentive and the other members. Food - was great and fresh, little on the smaller size portions for the price that is being charge but the same time a rooftop with hookah and good food I get it. The rolls were great , the hookah was nice, they had heaters everywhere so I wasn't uncomfortable. The drinks- they were okay, some on the sweeter side but I would definitely say they need to work on whose making drinks like the old fashion and espresso martinis. Pricing- it's a bit over priced but again it's the atmosphere your paying for , and also I know in generally everything becoming expensive I definitely would be back Great for date night! We were looking for somewhere to celebrate a last minute birthday and Mya fortunately was very accommodating. We were able to get a table of 6 with some beautiful views. Isaac was our server, and made the night that much better with his suggestions and attentiveness. They dont have the best selection of higher quality spirits, which was disappointing; however, the quality of the drink with their better spirits was on point. I had the Hi5 w patron, which was definitely good! As to the food, overall I was impressed and pleasantly surprised by the tastiness and freshness. The yellowtail tostadas were very good, crispy rice tuna was meh, the sashimi pear carpaccio was phenomenal and left us wanting for more, the steak was cooked more than medium so wasn't the best, and the short rib sliders were a little dry. I do believe, it was just a little over priced for the amount and quality of food you received. Regardless, all in all it was still a great experience and when we come back it's an opportunity to just hang out and have some drinks.
