Tried this place for lunch for the first time and the sandwich was tasty, I ordered a Philly sandwich. Only small complaint was that the meat was kinda salty, but that didn't really effect the overall flavor. The food is also cheap and you get chips and a drink with it just for $14! They order it from this bakery in Mira Loma called Galassos I tried calling them to order the bread myself, but they only sell to businesses :( This is the only place in Riverside where you can get a 6 inch sub for 1.49, ham, pastrami,turkey, or plain cheese. It's truly a diamond in the rough! The subs here are so nicely done and I always love to come here before I start my work shifts! They have Jr. Subs which are $2 and they are perfect if you're looking for something cheap that will fill you up! If you're looking for larger and more filling sandwiches they have from turkey to pastrami, cold to hot sandwiches. This place is run by a family from what I'm guessing as there is always the same 2-3 people here every time! I don't know what happened yesterday , I got this really great sandwich but when I ordered to go I was given the wrong sandwich however he fixed the situation, he seems very overwhelmed and seems to need help in this restaurant , I wish that for him. Safe haven for racists, I don't know if it's the change of management but from the moment i walked in there I stood out and eyes were all on the skinny Mexican kid with long nappy hair. That's just when I walked in because aside from the fact it took the guy at the register an eternity to take my order he was rushing me as if he clearly didn't want to take my order where I ordered 3 turkey jrs and coincidentally they weren't serving turkey jrs that day(remember this). So he says all he can do is the full size subs so I say okay can I get those and he finishes the transaction. 3 more people come in after and they were all served before me. All white of course(not a bias, more so an observation). Big orders too, when all I ordered was 2 subs. When i finally get my order I check to see if it was right and to my surprise i see 2 TURKEY JRS... YES TURKEY JRS!!!(remember what I said earlier) so I confront him about and he has the nerve to tell me that the subs he gave me were full size when they were clearly cut in half.
