Made an appointment to have my husband see an eye doctor. They did not tell us this would be a virtual eye doctor. The virtual eye doctor made a HUGE mistake of transposing the prescription on each eye. The temporary contacts irritated his eyes and he did not receive any replacement. It was very difficult for my husband to see a dr. in the 1st place due to the nature of his job and eyelab made no effort to correct the mistake or follow up with him and they failed to notify us when we called, on any documentation, follow ups we made, email or during initial visit in person, or when we called to notify them og the mistake THEY made that he had 90 days to see the dr. again. They made the mistake and we are supposed to fix it in 90 days doesnt make sense. Their response was that the 90 day time limit is on their website. We went in person, we didnt go to their website... In addition, we did attempt to see a dr. again within the "90 day" they say they have, but again they failed us by only having a dr. available on Thursdays and my husband works all day on Thursdays. So apparently sense we can only see a virtual dr. on Thursdays, they are really only giving us approx. 12 days to correct THEIR mistake. They make it very difficult for us to correct their mistake. When asked for a refund, they told us it would take 4-6 weeks to get a check in the mail. For such a small purchase, they make it so difficult and we much rather have the lenses than the money back, but they dont seem to have a carr in the world for customer service. To make things even worse, the GM at the store said they would not issue a refund. But that if they did, it would only be $5 of the $150 we paid because they made another mistake and charged us the $150 towards prescription eyeglass examine instead of contact lenses exam and so now she wants to charge us for the contact lenses exam. Incredible how bad their customer service is. I tried calling the corporate office and when pressing the option to speak to a customer service rep, the machine hangs up on me every time. I pressed a different button and was able to get in contact with someone and they gave me a different # to call than the # the Manager at the store gave me. Waiting for the district Manager to call me back. The Manager at the store took no responsibility for her story's mistakes and she had terrible customer service. read more

STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY SON'S PRESCRIPTION GLASSES. Absolutely unprofessional customer service at all levels. My son and I took the exam, chose our frames and placed our order. We were told they would be in in a week. Their robo-call said our order was in, a week later. We drove to the store, and only my glasses were in, NOT the complete order. My son was DEVASTATED!!!! He would like to see!! 2 weeks later, we received another robo-call and it says they will contact us soon. Still no glasses. Their phone system is horrible trying to get through to a real person since their automated system says there are no orders connected to our phone number. Once a real person comes on, saying they are in Selma, Texas...once they hear you are not scheduling an appointment for their deceptive "2 pair for $59 including eye exam" advertised special, they transfer you again, to the real store. Customer service talks over you, does not listen, talks in circles. WHERE ARE MY SON'S GLASSES WE PAID OUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON?!!!! Suggest you stay far away from My Eyelab and Stanton Optometrists!!! Go to EyeMart and get your prescription glasses the same day. Go to Lens Crafters and get treated with respect. Heck, go ANYWHERE, except My Eyelabs and their Skype with a "Dr" outside the US eye exam and robo-call customer service approach to prescription glasses and contacts. read more

I waited to write this review so I wouldn't get any backlash from the staff. Horrible, horrible. Worst customer service, worst attitudes, worst experience at an eye place ever. For those that want details: -main issue: they have doctors on something like Skype doing your exam!!! I hated this. They couldn't even do mine because the incompetent girl doing my extremely simple eye tests kept getting it wrong 3 times. This is serious!! My prescription is strong but she got 3 different prescription readings...Which brings me to: -very unprofessional front desk receptionists with purple hair (somehow both of them had purple hair) Discussing their hair and nails and not paying attention to me or what they were doing. I guess that's why the second step happened: -they didn't have me take my contacts out prior to the eye exam. I guess I knew this step but forgot, just following their instructions, which slowed down my test - then when I got my exam on a different day finally by a real doctor, the same girl was up in the front, very lazy, not wanting to help the other guy there that was actually trying to help me. He was the one who gave me a trial pair of contacts and asked her to help him do something and she just looked at him and clicked her super long nails together and didn't answer and laughed. How unprofessional!! -last but NOT least: two weeks later, giving the 7-10 business days to receive a phone call about my co facts coming in, and after NO PHONE CALL, called the office myself and found they were ready! I would give no stars if I couldn't boyfriend went here and got an eye exam and two pairs of glasses . 3 times they did eye exams because the glasses were never correct the prescription was off and the anti glare wasn't effective . After 3 different pairs I came in and asked for a full refund . I was told that I couldn't have a refund for the eye glass prescription because that service was rendered however they would mail me a check . This has been since 4/22 and I have no check they claim that they have sent a check to my home address and I have never received it . The store claims there is no corporate number or a person that I can speak to only their "g chat". And the store knows nothing . They continually tell me they will call me but never do I constantly make trips to this store but every time they never have any more answers . So now they have $365 of my money and the glasses and I have NOTHING but broken promises and huge regret of ever giving this place a chance. Ridiculous bad business and scam artist because I paid cash I will never get my money back apparently . read more

My eyelab. In the forum. Don't go there. Two weeks after I got my glasses the plastic snapped in half above the left lens. Took them off my face and they were like that, have no idea how. It took almost 6 weeks to get the replacements. They normally take 2, but when I went to check on them two weeks later they had lost the order and it took a week to get them to reorder them. I made 9 phonecalls and 5 visits, Everytime they said they didn't know what was going on, would look into it and call me, and never did. It wasn't until I started asking about a refund that they reordered them and said it would be another two weeks, at which point I was moving out of state. They said they would ship them to me and offered me a pair of free sunglasses for the inconvenience(any frames in the store). 3 weeks later, I received my glasses. They were the wrong frames. The nearest store, now that i live in Oregon, is two hours away and I figured I could live with them since I was getting free sunglasses. I called about those a week later, three times and let them know the frames from my glasses were wrong and as you can guess no one ever called me back, and the manager, Kat, was never available. Well they finally came the other day, and those too, are the wrong frames. They look terrible and they're very cheap, poor quality frames that I don't want to wear. Mistakes happen, but here they have poor communication and are unable to solve problems. Don't go here unless you want to throw away money. read more
