    Clean Office

    Both Optometrist and staff are delightful. I appreciate that they inform me of the insurance coverage for services and explain the examination process through every step. These people have integrity, no hidden fees, everything is thoroughly explained regarding glasses and contact lens dispense. I will definitely keep them as my Optometrists for eye care for a long time!

    I went to my sons vision insurance website. After 10 calls I finally found one on the list that actually took his insurance. There was an opening that same day so my son and I went right after lunch. It was easy to find located right off 35 across the freeway from the forum at a newly built shopping center. Their office is nice and modern. Dr. K is really nice. My son enjoyed his visit with him. (I have a 6 year old) My son was excited to hear that he gets to wear glasses for the first time. They had a great amount of glasses available in store. Yet there were no sport glasses in stock but wording though a catalog was a snap. IT will take a little while longer for those but we did pick up his regular glasses only a few days after our appointment. A wonderful and friendly staff. My Rating: 1 star for facilities 1 star for service 1 star for taking my sons insurance & glasses selection 1 star for overall 1 star for clean bathrooms We will see them again next year...till then. I hope thing business grows.

Dr. Gentry was amazing--she really took her time with me and was very thorough throughout the exam, which made me feel confident and well cared for. I also had such a great experience picking out glasses. The staff member who helped me went above and beyond--she even went to the back to find additional frames for me to try on, which I really appreciated. That extra effort made the whole process so much easier and enjoyable. Overall, it was such a positive experience from start to finish.     Had some glasses that had tint on them, polycarbonate lenses. All of the tint faded came off within…read morea year. When I took them to get re-tinted, they said they couldn't do it because it's been over a year. One lady who works there told me that they were using a lab that they quit using because they having defective products and that was the lab they used to make my lenses. Of course, the office manager denied that she said that .Office manager said since it was over six months that there was nothing they could do for 400$ pair of glasses. She said she would give me a $40 credit on my account for what the tint cost.. never was I told that polycarbonate lenses could have the tent fade, something that they should probably tell their customers. you could tell when you talk to the manager that her mind was made up and no matter what you said she was not going to change it. Typical of people like that.!

The issue was that we left because of the prices and told them we weren't going to get anything. The next day i went to another eyeglass place to find glasses for my 3 kids and they informed me that they couldn't look at my insurance since someplace had already ran an Authorization. Upset i called this visionworks and they didn't delete the authorizations on there side. I spoke to Jessica and she said it would take 30 days, and i questioned that, as this has never been a problem in 20+ years of having vision insurance myself. Then after i questioned it, she said they would delete them but that it would take about 24 hours. SO now onto the main issue that is complete BS. I asked the new place if they could look at my benefits and the kicker, they said i had an authorization, as well as my wife. Like what the hell, i didn't do anything for glasses just my kids. So I called back and spoke to Jessica again and she said its because when they do authorizations its for the Policy. Like what? What BS are they playing at, I have never heard such BS that the authorization is per policy. Why the hell did they do an authorization for my wife and me when we didn't even have the need to get glasses. The Lady then deleted my wife and my aurhtoizations and i hung up at that. I called the insurance company to verify and they told me authorizations are per person not group, which i already new. But what BS is this store doing. Further more, the authorizations were still in place, so i had the insurance company delete them. Now we need to wait until at least Monday to order glasses as many places are now closed and closed on Sunday. Do not use this place, they are horrible.

There is no point in wasting my energy being upset or angry at them, but I feel like I need to make this review. This would have been my fourth visit to this office. Every time before that they have been professional, friendly, and thorough. Like most people, my work is currently short-staffed so I am not able to get time off often. When I got my time off approved for today, I called and made an appointment for my yearly check. My appointment was scheduled for 2:20 pm. I arrived ten minutes early at 2:10 pm. There were two other people there before me. I confirmed my appointment and started filling out their required paperwork. As I was filling the paperwork out, a family of five arrived stating that they all had an appointment at 2:20. I thought nothing of it as I know nothing about booking appointments for an eye doctor. I finished filling out my paperwork and turned it in. The two people who arrived before me were called back to start the initial exam. During this time the family of five was still turning in the paperwork for them When the second person before me came back to wait to see the optometrist, I anticipated getting my name called. Instead, the first child of the family of five was called. I was a little frustrated as I had arrived before them and I had completed my paperwork before them. I sat there as all five of the family member were called back. As I tried to be patient the optometrist called the first child back to his office. That is when I realized that I was going to have to wait for all five family members to be seen before I was seen. I asked if there was a fee to cancel my appointment, which at this point I would have gladly paid. They told me, no and I asked to cancel it and I left. As I said I do not know how scheduling appointments should go at an eye doctor, but to me, it is common decency to see the patients in the order that they arrive if you are going to schedule multiple people at the same time. I showed them respect by arriving early and honoring the appointment I made with them. If it has been one or two who arrived after me I probably would have been frustrated, but I would have stayed. I felt very disrespected by the fact that five people who arrived after me were being seen before me. Why even schedule appointments if you cannot respect the person's time that they are taking out of their day to use your services. At this point, I will not be returning to this office. I just want to warn people who have time limitations that this place may not be for them.
