Dr. Nguyen is great! The staff is relaxed and professional! Most important is a careful and caring optometrist, and Emily Nguyen was 100% both. I had some questions at the end and she was patient and fully engaged ... It wasn't like she was trying to rush me out of the exam room. Another great thing about Optique is NO PRESSURE to buy frames. As I walked past the front desk the technician handed me my prescription. I paused at the Vera Bradley display, tried on a pair or two, and kinda stood there. The tech said "anything in particular you are looking for?" A year has passed since my wife and I had a very negative interaction with the nasty staff at Optique. The experience stays fresh on our minds. On checking in , staff attempted to collect a Medicare Deductible up front. We were told that even if the Deductible had previously been met at another facility, the amount was nonrefundable. When we protested, we were told to leave or the police would be called. As 2 seniors in our 80's we have never before experienced such treatment! read more

I was due for a new glasses prescription, I hadn't had a new one since 2018 and I knew my eyes had gotten worse. I went to my sons vision insurance website. After 10 calls I finally found one on the list that actually took his insurance. There was an opening that same day so my son and I went right after lunch. It was easy to find located right off 35 across the freeway from the forum at a newly built shopping center. Their office is nice and modern. Dr. K is really nice. My son enjoyed his visit with him. (I have a 6 year old) My son was excited to hear that he gets to wear glasses for the first time. They had a great amount of glasses available in store. Yet there were no sport glasses in stock but wording though a catalog was a snap. IT will take a little while longer for those but we did pick up his regular glasses only a few days after our appointment. A wonderful and friendly staff. My Rating: 1 star for facilities 1 star for service 1 star for taking my sons insurance & glasses selection 1 star for overall 1 star for clean bathrooms We will see them again next year...till then. This is a small store with a comparatively limited selection of eyeglasses frames, but they do have a nice variety of frames. I'll note that the focus here seems to be on the optometry instead of the frames. As I was here for frames only, I can't speak to the doctors beyond their friendliness. The staff members were friendly and patient in general, but unlike stores that are focused on frames, not everyone here seemed able to help fully with the frames, which meant the process of buying new glasses took much longer than usual as one person after another was needed to fill in steps; this can be a bear on days when the store is busy. read more

Dr. Kikuchi is a very personable guy and I felt extremely comfortable in his care. In my experience with previous optometrists, the eye exams usually felt a bit rushed but Dr. Kikuchi was very thorough. I felt that he took his time to make sure my eyes were in the best health and to find out if I had any underlying problems. He was also very clear throughout the examination by explaining everything he was doing and made me laugh a couple of times. There was also a very nice selection of frames. The staff was very helpful as they assisted me in picking out a particular style of frame I was interested in. I'm glad to say that I was very happy with my selection and I also loved the Ray Ban sunglasses they showed me. I've always liked aviators but I have a very small face so I never thought I could rock them. Yet, they had a wide selection to choose from and the staff showed me the most perfect aviators that could fit my face! :) The pricing of everything was very clear and I never felt confused about what I was paying for as Dr. Kikuchi and his staff explained everything to me. Although I do not have insurance, they offered a discounted price for self-pay. I am happy with my experience at Optique Eye Care and now have a new primary eye doctor. read more

He was extremely insightful towards the optic issues I was experiencing. The office is up to date with new optical equipment and technology. Dr ken is obviously a hard working and competent dr. I went in to get a second opinion for a consult done a few weeks before. Dr ken went conducted a very through eye check and gave me his findings. He was very matter of fact and easy to understand. He also informed me since I was pregnant it was not safe to use the eye drops the previous optometrist had used! I looked it up and he was correct. His office was clean and modern. We didn't purchase glasses so I cannot speak on the prices but, he had a wide selection of kids, men's and women's.
