The "lab" side of the clinic that sells the glasses, while Extremely nice and helpful, get swamped on weekends. My wife and I waited over 35 minutes after our eye exams to be seen. We had other things to do so we left. Went back on Monday and was immediately assisted after my daughters exam. So, key note... maybe avoid going on Saturday if you can help it.

Also I was told that the option I took would increase the strength that my exam indicated I needed. Also there would be computer lens included as part of the glasses. My glasses cost me $1,019.00! I have worn them for several weeks and they are not as Vision Source indicated they would be. The bright light still hurts my eyes and I have to wear sunglasses over them to be able to cope with sunny days. The strength of my lens don't fit my vision any better than the pair I had before purchasing new ones. The computer lens absolutely does not help. I purchase some glasses with computer lens from a drug store that work better than the Vision Source glasses. Today I returned to Vision Source and discussed the situation about my glasses not being as I was told they would be. Finally I ask for a refund and was then told there is a 35% restocking fee! STRANGE THAT I WASN'T TOLD THAT BEFORE I PAID $1,019.00 FOR THESE GLASSES! They offered to redo my glasses but I have lost confidence in Schertz Vision Source. The glasses I was promised have not been provided. I read the reviews before making an appointment and felt confident that I selected the best optical service. I am so disappointed in Schertz Vision Source and advise potential customers to consider my comments before making an appointment.

They have now enacted a new policy "at the beginning of this year," which I am now being told in August, after I've already had two appointments carrying balances lol, that you can't have a balance over $50 when you make an appointment. I owe $79. I told them I would pay in cash when I arrive as I have done for the past 10 years. They refused. Losing a patient over $30 is silly. I'm so over them. Looking for a new provider TODAY.
