Whatever you do if you need glasses DO NOT repeat DO NOT go to Stanton Optical. First of all, their turn around time for glasses is a lie. They offer same day glasses I had to wait 2.5 weeks to get my 1 pair after I was told they would be in the store in 1 week. Secondly, they have the offer of 2 pairs of glasses for 79.99 with the free eye exam. They were completely out of the frames for that deal and I had to buy a 200$ 1 pair of glasses. Thirdly, I had this pair of glasses for less than 2 months and they broke. They did not break from user error but from the quality of the product its self. As you can see they completely came apart from the hinge where they are supposed to be the most sturdy and secure. I was wearing them on my face when the arm broke off. Thankfully I had an old pair I could use and was close to the house so my husband could bring them to me. I have to have glasses otherwise I cannot see due to the fact I am near sighted. I went and talked to them twice about fixing them and they wanted me to pay 20% of the cost to fix them because I had the warranty. I told them I was not paying anything to have these glasses fixed due to the fact the QUALITY of the frames was poor and faulty and broke due to me just wearing them. They refused. I told them they had 2 options. 1. Give me a full refund 2. Fix the glasses for free. Otherwise I was going to call the FTC, BBB, and the Attorney General's office and file a formal complaint with pictures of the faulty item and how they broke, against the company. They didn't offer either of them so I simply said "You really shouldn't break the law against people who know their consumer rights and works in medical. Have a nice day." And walked out. Yes I contacted all the agencies and supplied this picture to all of them. So do not waste your money and go to this optical place. They are crooks. They sell faulty low quality products and then charge you to fix their faulty product which btw is illegal ESPECIALLY in a medical setting. read more

First and foremost, I blame myself for not going through my normal eye doctor. I wanted speedy and fast and got exactly what I asked for. I was thrown off by the tele-medicine eye exam, I was not aware that this was how Stanton conducted their eye exams, had I've known, I would not have used this company to have an eye exam. Because of the lack of a physical in-house optometrist, I ended up receiving the wrong prescription... they "treated" me for astigmatism, which I do not have... so now, my designer glasses (the reason for my foolishly speedy eye exam) have the incorrect prescription in them and I am slightly cross-eyed when I wear them. I take responsibility for my decision to cut corners and go the speedy route, but I also feel like the marketing for Stanton is incredibly misleading, not to mention, their glasses are extremely cheaply made. On the bright side, the staff were mostly friendly. My recommendation, stick with an office with in-house optometry. read more

1st appt- Waited 27 minutes beyond scheduled appointment for manager to arrive. He appologized and we waited for next employee to come in to contact Doctor (we have now waited 1 hour). The third asociate came in and spoke to other employee in front of us only to greet next client, when she was our cashier. The wait and aggrevation continues. The manager then says for inconvenience today I fought to get you 20% off. The store was warm no AC for first hour. We then see an Ad your running for Stanton Optical "get 20%". 2nd visit- We were called. Arrive at store the next day and were told only one pair is here? 3rd- Visit- 1 employee on the floor. Customers in line my wife is in the back of line, Manager emerges from the back and never acknowleges clients, my wife upset walks out. 20% should state off $' 80% off service. I have to tell you, I am impressed with the service from Pauline, and staff at the Oracle location in Tucson, AZ. YES, you get affordable, alright glasses, but my son's glasses are really cute on him. They offer a very affordable warranty for such cheap pair of glasses...and all the upgrades are bogo, too. What I'm BLOWN AWAY by, is how much they care. I took my 9-yr old son in yesterday for, what we just assumed would be a basic appointment , turned out to be far from normal. in the appointment, the eye doctor found an abnormality on his optic nerve. I didn't expect a basic eye place to actually look at the photos so closely. but they did. it has been very difficult getting my sons pcp, and the specialist to work together, but Pauline has been the only empathetic person that we've worked with, like she actually cares about my son. we have had to call them, and go to the store a few times just today, and she keeps just letting us know that they will do whatever they can to help. Out of all the health care pros that we've been working with in the last 24 hours, this staff has been the only ones who have cared. I cannot recommend Stanton Optical on Oracle more. read more

Do not go there!!! There are no Doctors on site. There was a person giving my exam remotely from another country. Prescription came back way off. Cound not see out of glasses. DO NOT GO HERE! I originally went in for dilated pupils, and came out with some prescription that didn't even match. They're fake and they destroyed my eyes! They refuse to give me my money back. I spent $500 for the worst month of my life. I can't even type this review because of their "eye exam" was false. No wonder they changed their business name, THEY SUCK! Spend your money at the other 100 eye exam places. They only give you the option to have another fake false eye exam. I went to My Eyelab earlier this month to get my prescription updated for glasses. The staff here were so welcoming and I was even able to make a same day appointment! When it was time to pick out glasses after my eye exam, they let me know that they had a buy one get one deal for frames. If I also bought two frames, my eye exam fee would be waived which was a really good deal. Fast forward a week later, I went to pick up my frames. I loved how the first frame fit on me but I wasn't too in love with the second one, but I was able to exchange it same day. I was informed that whatever the price difference was between the old and new frames that I wanted, I would just pay the difference. The difference ended up being $59 dollars but when it was time to pay, the manager actually waived the cost of the difference for me. That was one of the kindest acts ever, and I really appreciated it being a UA student. I have been non stop raving about My Eyelab to all of my friends and family who need glasses as well. Went to my eyelab in rivercity jacksonville fl may 2024. Staff seemed friendly. They did a virtual eye visit which I thought was strange but I gave it a try. The Dr was very rude when I told him I couldn't see anything on the screen. Was then told by the lab assistant that next year I would need bi focal glasses. So I ordered my glasses them came back quick I COULDNT see anything the sales lady told me that's because I didn't ordered the bi focal glasses. So I have to pay another 120$ at this point I have now paid 435$ for my glasses. They sent then back in June 2024. They came back to the store 8n July 2024 and the lens fell out of the glasses while I was still in the store. The sales lady took them back with a attitude and said the lab cut them wrong. I called to put in a complaint and requested my money back 2 different times. The store called me told me it was a computer glitch and my request for my money back was rejected, they could offer me a single vision pair of sun glasses now remember I have to have bi focals per the Dr so why would I get a single vision sun glasses they wouldn't help me at all. I'm beyond pissed at this point and I still haven't gotten my refund. And we are now at the end of July 2024. I will never go back to the place again........ read more
