Burger of the Month with fries
Kathleen R.

Stopped in for the Burger of the Month. The food was good, French fries were particularly tasty. Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance is clean and fun. Would go to this location again.

My Burger just hits well no matter what. The burgers are perfectly savory and salty. The double is what you should order regardless of the type. My favorite is the California with cheese. The fries are no slouch either. They regularly make fresh bathes so they arrive piping hot. The inside looks like a fun twist on a diner making it a nice place to eat.

My boyfriend and I stopped in the day after Valentine's Day to grab some lunch and they were fairly busy for it being a weekday! Their menu is very straightforward - burgers, crispy chicken burger, fish burger, and salads. No extra cost for any of their 10 toppings. Milkshake & malts for dessert. I went with their double jalapeño king burger ($13.95) with jerk fries and my boyfriend got their California burger ($9.25) with cajun fries. Of course I had to get me some of their garlic aioli too - so good to dip your fries. I like their spicy mayo too, but already had jalapeño mayo on my burger, so didn't have a need to request it on the side. Although all of the listed toppings on the jalapeño king burger are spicy, my burger didn't reflect that heat. It was a little spicy, but not what I'd consider hot. It was a great burger - enjoyed the peppered bacon - but I wouldn't say it packs heat. It was my first time getting their jerk fries. Usually, I get their cajun, but wanted to try something new. Cajun wins in this fry battle. Their jerk fries were good, but My Burger's jerk seasoning is a little on the sweeter side and I'm not big into that. They also unevenly seasoned the fries, so some fries didn't have a lot of seasoning and other fries, were way over-seasoned. I'm glad I tried them, but will be sticking to cajun fries for future visits. My boyfriend enjoyed both his California burger and cajun fries - no complaints whatsoever. I noticed the line was close to the door when we were getting ready to leave, so we got in at the right time. Their 3-person staff was professional and courteous - very kind. There's plenty of space to dine-in - they also have the cutest space. The local street names up top is a nice touch.

Such a great and quick burger fix!! I ordered the double California burger which has mayo, tomatoes and lettuce also comes with fries!! Lots of places to sit!! Very clean!! The lady working was very friendly and helpful and asked if I would like to try the garlic mayo and sriracha mayo and I really enjoyed trying them I really liked the sriracha mayo!! Lots of choices on the menu ranging from burgers to chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, salads and shakes! Will definitely come back again!!

My Burger has quickly become our new favorite go-to burger place. Every time we go it is consistently as good as the time before. What sets My Burger apart from some of the other chains is that they offer multiple different patty options including chicken, turkey, veggie, and fish. The buns are buttered and toasted. They won't disintegrate in you hands during consumption. You can also essentially build you own burger with whatever topping, meat patty and cheese you want. I'm embarrassed to admit that I've even ordered the salad several times, which has also been quite good. The fries are amazing, very crispy and always served hot. The onion rings are similarly phenomenal!

The place is pretty big but only about 8 people were there when we went in at 12:15 on a Sunday. Our server came over quickly when we sat down with our menus, and she was super nice. They were out of my first choice of an IPA, but they had Surly Furious as a nice backup. I ordered the big 32oz, followed by a 16 ounce mason jar later on. Solid Twin Cities flagship beer. I ordered a Cuban with a side salad, which I was glad I was able to substitute and my wife got the steamed vegetables. Lots of pork on the Cuban, could have used some more pickle and mustard, but it was plenty good and the pork was juicy. Good loaf of sandwich bread as well. Her steamed vegetables were fresh looking and tasted good and the Caesar salad was great size and not too drenched in dressing. It was really good with plenty of croutons to top it off. We took home half the salad and veggies and I made a great wrap with it the next day with a chicken brat. Really good sports bar, make sure to check it out!

The fried pickles came in spears (which personally is my favorite for the ultimate pickle to breading ratio) with ranch as the dipping sauce and they were delicious! We also had the nachos with chicken on the side and these were a hit as well. I tried the drink of the week which was an apple cider spiced Moscow mule and it was super tasty! A great casual spot to meet up for some good food and drinks with friends!

There was a special for 2 that included three courses for $145. We made reservations at arrived at 7:30. Packed dining room which was great to see since this was our first time. We also had to bring our infant with us, and the wait staff didn't greet us until 7:45. Not ideal, but they were busy. Only three waiters for a packed dining room. They also had no direction or host greeting diners. Finally they took us to our table, which hadn't been bussed. So they made us wait an additional 10 minutes while they got it cleaned off. What's the point of a reservation if you're not guaranteeing me a clean table at the time of arrival? We were sat down and the couple next to us wished us good luck as they said they were waiting for their food nearly an hour. Yikes. It took the wait staff another 10 minutes to bring us water and menus. Luckily we had looked online so we knew all three course what to order. I also asked for a drink menu and ordered a martini. As I looked around at other diner's experiences, the wait staff looked so confused and were bringing random food to all the tables to figure out what went where. This is the basics of running a dining room. If you can't remember or properly communicate together, write it down with table numbers. It's that easy. The couple next to us finally got their first course which looked no better than what you could get at HyVee, and literally one minute later they were trying to push their entree's on them as well. Absolutely ridiculous. How dare you make diners wait so long to get food, and then try to rush them when it's finally ready. That couple got up and left. We got our first course which the potstickers tasted almost like the ones from Trader Joe's. Makes me question if Chef Mike(Microwave) was involved in the cooking that evening. My scalloped potatoes were unseasoned and bland. Then the staff brings me over a beer, which I had completely forgot about my martini. Definitely did not order a beer. We weren't done with our 1st course and the same waitress pushed our entrees on us, but at this point, we just wanted to eat what was edible and leave. We ordered our Filet Mignon medium rare, and let me tell you, that steak was still mooing. Completely raw, cold in the middle, and likely unsafe to eat. The waiter finally brought my martini which had melted from sitting at the pass too long, and I asked to leave and pay for only my appetizers. The only good thing that came from this experience was the waiter being understanding and even agreed that the night was a disaster and expensed our meal. We took off at 8:30p, and got home, put our son to bed, and while my wife was doing that, I made a romantic dinner at home. Moral of the story here, if you can't run a competent kitchen with a competent staff, turn your restaurant into a buffet or close. At this point you'd find a better Steak at Texas Roadhouse by a country mile. Hope my experience can be used for training and team management, as well as save other diners from that complete sh*tshow.

The menu is robust and I had a difficult time choosing as every item sounded great. A few members in our party had been here before and recommended the Thai chicken lettuce wraps off the appetizer menu and they did not disappoint. It was very fresh and I could tell it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. Owned and operated by three brothers, this family-owned restaurant serves incredible Ecuadorian and Mexican-inspired dishes. If you visit, you'll most likely be greeted and served by one of the owners, who treat you like family--wholesome and genuinely high-quality hospitality without doing too much. The service provided and the love poured into the food are comparable to none. I've frequented this restaurant several times, throughout several years, and I've never had a bad experience or a bad meal. Some of my favorite dishes here include: - Empanadas de Carne or Vegetariana: Beef or vegetable empanadas. These empanadas are pan-fried corn dough, stuffed with your choice of tender, juicy, perfectly cooked braised beef or fresh vegetables. The empanadas are served on a bed of roasted tomato salsa and crema casera. The crispiness and warmth of the empanadas, combined with the tanginess of the sauces, make this dish my absolute favorite. If you're undecided in the appetizer section, this would be the one thing I would absolutely make sure you order. - The guacamole is made with fresh avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro, roasted tomato, salsa, and served with crispy corn chips. It is one of their top-selling items as it is made fresh to order, and absolutely delicious as such. - The shrimp ceviche is another favorite! Made with a blend of tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and citrus juice, this ceviche is both juicy and packed with tons of flavor. It's the perfect light and refreshing appetizer. - The Tostones and fried yucca, each crispy and crunchy, are also excellent options for sharing or nibbling solo before your main dish. - The Carne Asada is one of my go-to lunches when I visit. Overnight, marinated steak is grilled to perfection and served with achiote (yellow, seasoned) rice, black bean purée, French fries, and a small house salad. It's good comfort food cooked with love and an incredible amount of - The Lomo saltado dish is sautéed beef tips that are very tender, rich, and flavorful. The combination with the red onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes is sensational. Paired with an achiote (yellow, seasoned) rice that waters your mouth, as well as a side house salad served with a tangy lime vinaigrette that will blow you away. - The Mexican Tres leches is my absolute favorite version! I've tried several, not all, across the Twin Cities, and this is always easily my favorite. A homemade cake soaked with a blend of three milks, whipped cream, caramel chocolate, and topped with crispy coconut flakes. This dessert is decadent as it is delicious. In addition to these dishes, Cahill Bistro offers happy hour Sunday-Thursday from 3:00-5:30pm with specials on appetizers and drinks. They also have daily soup specials and brunch on Saturdays. Cahill Bistro has consistently won multiple awards for best Latin American food in the Twin Cities, and for me, there is no debate about that. Cahill Bistro is my #1!

Love the gravy and also jalapeño syrup. Very different yet delicious.
