    House smoky rub wings

I like to keep my reviews positive but this one was hard. The staff was not able to recommend a single good dish, they looked confused, like they had not eaten there or if there was nothing good. I was pleasantly suprosed that the burger pattie was very good. The fries were soggy and not crispy at all. But the biggest let down were the house smokey rub wings. Good God add a lot of salt and some sugar and you get the same inconsistent overly salted flavor. It was a no go for me. It was sad, because they are sure not cheap.

This was our 2nd visit to this restaurant. This time was a huge disappointment! Still a very nice atmosphere, but the menu has been slashed. No longer have any entrees or the bowls, only appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. The walleye sandwich was horrible! Quite obviously fried in old grease, it tasted like old grease and came on a dry bun with No tartar sauce or anything on it. Just 2 small filets slapped on a bun. Ick! My partner had the philly steak sandwich which was somewhat better but was also served dry. No au jus to dip into. All in all, Very disappointed and won't be back until their menu greatly improves.

We stood at the connecting Marriott for 5 days and ate here each morning for breakfast and several times for dinner. Breakfast was great (and included depending on your Marriott status) and our server was the best - he was super friendly and very accommodating. For dinner, I rate lower.. felt overpriced and the cocktails were heavy on the bitters. In summary, definitely come for breakfast and your best bet is a bowl off the dinner menu and a beer or spirit served neat for dinner.

The Good: good beers on tap; food I ordered was good; service from Jen was AWSOME; manager stoped by to make sure everything was good. The Bad: Would have liked to have some healthier options on the menu and nutrition info or at least calorie info printed on the menu. Tip: A yelp coupon for buy one appetizer get one free and another to buy $50 for $30.

The food here is ok but the service is glacially slow. You pay a lot for the food but what you get is very wee, and on a huge plate almost to rub it in that they are messing with you. I actually just walked out as a hotel guest after waiting a long, long time to have someone take my order. It also took a long, long time to even get a menu. This is on my second visit. On my first visit, I put up with the wait and got a salmon McNugget for my troubles.

A solid three for a hotel restaurant. The bar and restaurant have a variety of seating and several TV's to enjoy when traveling solo. The menu is really large, which is a rare find at a hotel restaurant, and allows for good variety especially if you stay at this Marriott property often. I'm not impressed with the beer or wine list. Given the immense amount of craft breweries in MN, let alone the U.S., they haven't plucked for most of them for their offerings. Service is pleasant, not always quick, but adequate.

This restaurant opened in January 2025 and glad I came across it online! Fiore - 8.7/10 3 of us ordered this drink and it was very good, simple gin-based drink. The drops of herb-infused EVOO on the top was a nice touch and a refreshing cocktail. Lablabi - 8.1/10 None of us had tried a dish like this before. Fun combo of burrata, chick peas, harissa paste, and croutons. It really worked well together and is apparently a staple dish in Tunisia. Caesar salad - 7/10 Very light, good parmesan, lemony, I would have liked more toppings but given how creamy many of the other dishes were, perhaps a lighter start to the meal was good. :) Banh mi pizza - 9.2/10 This was their pizza of the day. It was so tasty with slow roasted pork, cucumber, and a delicious curst. Excited to come back another time and try their hot honey pepperoni. Pappardelle alla lisa - 8/10 Having ordered pappardelle a few times recently, I'm finding it's not my favorite noodle because it's more floppy and less chewy because of how wide and thin it is. Regardless, still a good dish, the meat sauce was a little more muted in flavor than I expected, maybe the nuttiness of the grana padano contributed to a different flavor profile. Cavatelli - 9.5/10 This was the best dish of the night and surprised us all! How could butternut squash be so good. However, this was like the best, creamiest mac and cheese. Such a satisfying texture, the boursin sauce was incredible. This is one of those rare special dishes I will remember and come back for some day. Lasagna - 9/10 Really good white lasagna, creamy sauce, with a mushroom-forward flavor. It's nice having a thinner two-layer lasagna. Chicken Parm - 8.9/10 So different than everything else on the menu! Incredibly crispy deep fried chicken with some good spices from chili crisp. Felt like eating ribs because they were served on a skewer. Spaghetti - 7.9/10 Savory olive oil and butter sauce, well prepared dish with zucchini, lighter than the other pasta dishes. Budino/Lemon meringue - 8.4/10 Excellent custard/pudding and mix of flavors Cannolis French silk - 8.2/10 I don't typically go for cannolis because of the ricotta filling but these were very good. Also great crispy texture. Nice atmosphere and service. Walking up to the exterior of the restaurant you wouldn't expect such a high quality dining experience. Recommend checking it out!

I want a butternut squash soup with all those amazing flavors! The dill pickle pizza was also great and I'd get it again, though nothing quite beats the state fair pickle pizza for me! I would definitely pass on the bruschetta next time; the texture was just not it for any of us three who had it. Such a lovely spot in Hopkins!

We also ordered some drinks (You're My Boy Blue & the Rhubarb/Ginger Gin Fizz). Both were a perfect balance of refreshing and fruity. I ordered the brisket mac & cheese (pictured) and was immediately in love. Truly the definition of comfort food. As it was my birthday, we were able to finish off the meal with a slice of rainbow cake. We will definitely be back, as there are so many things we didn't get this time that we want to try

I was really bummed to learn that the fried onion on the burger & some of their other fried foods are done so with beef tallow and therefore aren't vegetarian/vegan friendly. This includes the French fries & buffalo Brussels sprouts which was a huge bummer and took me by surprise as many of the foods I thought were vegetarian were not. This is the primary reason I'm giving it a 3/5 instead of 5/5. I am extremely grateful to our wonderful waitress for bringing this to my attention ahead of time and helping guide me to which menu items were still vegetarian friendly but found my options to be a lot more limited. The food that we did have was good! The Mac and cheese was rich and delicious. Our drinks were also really well made and enjoyable!
