This place is a whole vibe! It reminds me of an upcoming area in Nashville. It's such a hidden gem right downtown in Prior Lake. I loved this wine bar. Such a cool hangout spot for some drinks with friends or a fun date night. The interior is just beautiful. They have a monthly rotating menu of different wines. Beer is an option if you aren't a fan of wine, and some light bites to nibble on with your drinks. You can also bring in your own food or they have a food truck right across the street. I'll definitely be back and recommending this wine bar to others.

I love the concept and the execution. It is simple, intimate, local, friendly, affordable and unique. My only ding is the lack of variety. Only 4 red wine options doesn't constitute a "wine bar " in my opinion. They could and should add more options. To offset that, though, they reload the menu every month. That's great. Love the concept, just wish there was more variety in any given month.

The New Rhino Wine Bar in Prior Lake has us in love! We decided to check out the rhino bar when they first opened and the vibes are immaculate! We've been back serval times since and have even tried one of their small group wine tastings that is hosted in their down stairs room. There are fun wine flights (3 x 3oz pours) of your choice of either sparkling, white, and red wine options! There is something for all wine lovers! The interior is decorated to perfection and creates the perfect space for adults to come, relax, and enjoy! They even have various memberships available for those that want extra perks/discounts each month! So excited to make this one of my regular spots!

Very relaxing atmosphere with lots of greenery and comfortable seating options

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels more inviting and polished, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Whether it's recommendations on new menu items or perfectly timed service, they've elevated the overall experience.we had Hannah as our server and she was wonderful ! Suggested different things on the menu . The biggest highlight, though, is the seafood. PLATE has really embraced variety, consistently updating their seafood offerings to keep things fresh and exciting. Their rotating selections ensure there's always something new to try, from creative takes on classic dishes to bold, flavorful combinations that showcase their commitment to quality ingredients. It's clear that PLATE is putting in the effort to refine its menu, atmosphere, and service, making it a must-visit in Prior Lake. If you haven't been in a while, now is the time to check it out! Especially during restaurant week $45 for three course meal with your drink. Worth it !! Must go and try it out !!

The menu has a lot of options that sound good. I ended up getting the "chicken" entree and it aaa great! Two chicken breasts over mashed potatoes and covered with a delicious cream sauce. I do wish it had some asparagus included or some other vegetable but in any case, I enjoyed the entree! My husband got the NY strip and it was fine, served with a salad, but all other sides are a la carte. I think the cocktails are a weakness, not a huge variety and none were appealing to me, so I went with wine.

Beautiful and small little local Italian restaurant. Some of my favorites: Chicken Parmesan - absolutely to die for and large portion Steaks - cooked perfectly every time and great plain or with Sul Lago sauce Bruschetta, mussels, salads - flavorful and fantastic starters Delicious cocktails - well-crafted and strong Desserts - the blueberry bread pudding + chocolate cake are both unreal The filet tip gnocchi is a go-to, but I love trying the nightly specials, every pasta I've had here has been fantastic.

The service was impeccable from start to finish. Everything felt really intentional and well timed. The food was outstanding. The rigatoni was a standout with an incredible sausage that was honestly to die for. We also had the soles de pollo, a chicken ravioli with fresh vegetables in the sauce, and the flavors were amazing. For tapas, we ordered the patatas bravas and rissoles, both were delicious. Such a thoughtful touch when they brought out churro bites at the end as a thank you. Amazing food, top tier service, and a really fun but romantic atmosphere. Definitely a spot worth going out of your way for

It is in the Mac-Groveland neighborhood so there is ample street parking nearby if you turn on any of the side streets. The restaurant does get busy at dinner, so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. They have many unique options for cocktails and mocktails. I opted for the Slaychel which is a non-alcoholic beverage that I think of as an elevated mimosa. It is fruity, slightly tart, and delicious! The service was great! Our water was frequently refilled and never got empty, and our server asked about any allergies and dietary restrictions before we ordered. They were able to modify menu items to fit the different dietary restrictions! Two people in our party (including myself) are vegetarians and one member is gluten-free and also doesn't consume much dairy or eggs. They were able to serve the patatas bravas with the egg on the side and the grilled asparagus with the egg and cheese on the side so we were able to all share the starters. The patatas bravas were wonderful! The potatoes are perfectly crispy but still fluffy. The tomato sauce was slightly smokey and had a very slight kick (think Minnesota spice) and it balanced out well with the creamy tomato. If you're only going to try one appetizer, this is the one to try! The asparagus was also nice. The salsa verde had a slight kick (a bit more than the tomato sauce from the patatas bravas, but not super spicy. Still Minnesota level of spice). The shallots also added a nice crispy texture to the dish! The egg really stood out in this dish, with its runny yolk and batter coating. There were a lot of nice elements and textures. As for pastas, I split the Spaghetti and Radiatore with a friend. The Radiatore was nutty and tangy, and the serving size was generous. I enjoyed it, but I would order the Spaghetti over it any day! I don't even know how to describe the Spaghetti and do it justice. It was creamy, cheesy, delicious. Our server said it was a staff favorite, and I understand why. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, go with this one!! Even if you aren't a vegetarian, give it a try. It's so classic, and it's done so well. For dessert: they give free churros when you're dining in! They are served warm with a chocolate drizzle. We also ordered the Honey Cake which we enjoyed a lot! The cake itself was light, like a mousse. There was some crunch from the hazelnut praline and honeycomb toffee pieces. It was nutty and sweet but not overly sweet. It was a perfect way to finish off the meal! Estelle was delicious and the service was great! I can't wait to come back!
