Made an appointment late last night for this morning and had plenty of time slots to choose from. They are scheduled 10 minutes apart. Check-in kiosk is right in front of the entrance doors when you walk in and hard to miss. There is a separate line to the left for appointments. From checkin to speaking with someone, wait was a little more than 5 mins but less than 10. Ashley helped me get a temporary plate quickly for the car I purchased in California yesterday and was super helpful in providing information for next steps. read more

I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had at the DVM. I was thoroughly impressed with the customer experience we received. Eden was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. We showed up to the DMV at 4:30pm last Friday, not realizing they closed at 4:45. We were not sure if we would be able to get through the line and get helped before closing. However, not only were we out of there before 5pm, but Eden went above and beyond to help my partner get a replacement ID, and the travel ID needed for his upcoming flight. I have always dreaded going to the DMV, however Eden made our experience wonderful. We went to the DMV intending to just get a replacement ID so that he could rush apply for his passport and eventually apply for the travel ID, Eden was able to help us organize all the documents we needed and get him the travel ID on the spot. This was such a relief as we no longer have to rush order a passport to travel within the US next month. I truly cannot express how thankful I am that we were able to work with Eden. read more

AZMVD is another example of government bureaucracy gone bad. When I was notified that my vehicle registration was soon due, they stated in writing vehicle emissions test required, which I did-$17. Then when I renewed, the form stated that no vehicle emissions required. And guess what, MVD does not care, will not reimburse me, and was unable to fess up to their error. Don't you hate inefficient government bureaucracy, where inefficiency is a given! read more

This place is DOG SHIT! i went here hoping to get a new id because I turned 21 and my id expired. I was told by the man at the front wearing an american flag covid mask that all i needed was proof of residence and my id. I then proceeded to wait in line for 2 hours. Once I was called to the desk woman with glaucoma in one of her eyes (didn't know her name) told me that she was unable to help me and I in-fact needed a passport, birth certificate, social security, 2 forms of bills in my name, proof of residence, and my current id. In conclusion these people are slow and waste your time they also change the rules for certain people. My roomate got her id renewed weeks ago and did not need all of those forms of documentation. If there is anywhere else you can go besides here do it. This place sucks read more

This place should be investigated on discrimination. I'm going to name two supervisors that probably should not be supervising anyone, but should take a long look at how they treat other people. Bree, and Sean. I came in with a Marriage Certificate from Mexico, and my new Social Security Card with my new name and was turned down because my Certificate was not in English. I had it translated and came back and was turned down again! It turned into a mess, something that should have been very simple became very complicated because of Bree, and Sean. I even had another employee apologize to me for Sean, and Bree's behavior and she told me very quietly that what was happening to me should not have happened. I was also told that if I wanted to legally change my last name on my drivers license that I would probably have to go to court to see a Judge and get it changed through the court. Completely unacceptable and ridiculous. What's sad is I was only adding my husband's last name to my maiden name. I had all of my legal documents and paperwork, nothing was missing. They made it seem like I was committing fraud or something. I went to another DMV with the same exact paperwork and I was issued my drivers license with my new last name that day. I will never again step foot into this facility. read more

There's not much to say about a DMV. Expect to wait a long time, deal with lethargic government employees, and feel the pain of forking over more money to the gov't. This was my second time at an Arizona DMV, as I was having a title transferred and registering my car in AZ, lest I get pulled over by the AZ police. I was pleasantly surprised to see this government office with hours that actually coincided with that of the American populace--M-F 8-5. I arrived at 8 so I could be into work at 9, and I was. The process was smooth and cost less than I was expecting to pay, and that's always a good thing. Giving the government less of my money is always the goal. Compared to other DMVs I've had the pleasure of wasting my life in, this ranks middle of the road. PENNDOT in Pennsylvania is utterly terrible. Do yourself a favor and take a Xanax before stepping foot inside. However, the DMV in Clark County, Las Vegas is surprisingly efficient, especially for the extreme volume pumping into that place. Adding a coffee station inside the waiting room would detract from the perceived wait time and be a nice touch as a whole. Get on it gov't. read more

Amazing!! Came in to get a new license and register my car in Arizona at 2:30pm expecting to make a second visit. I was able to get both done that same day. Even with having to go get my car tested for emotions. The lady on window 15 I think her name was Selena. Was super nice and even ran after me in the parking lot when I forgot my license plate tags.
