Metamorphoses. I had two of them they were so good.
    Rosalyn L.

Stopped by here to get a nice drink and a bite to eat before catching my flight. 3 stars because the service starting off was so slow but once my waitress determined I was still alive, the service did get better. I had the meatball appetizers which were just ok (needed seasoning) and 2 metamorphoses. The drinks were on point! I decided to sit by the window to have a nice view. Two people came about 20 minutes later and sat next me. About 5 minutes later, waitress came by to take their order. I looked at the waitress and smiled to make sure she acknowledged me. After she finished taking their order, she came over and apologized to me and finically took my order. After that, it was smooth sailing.

This was at the airport. We were seated immediately. The staff were super nice. And they took our orders promptly. But they had a manpower shortage, and apparently, some ppl did not come to work. But food took very long to come. The food was not too bad. The food was fresh. But felt more like home cooked breakfast by relatives. Nothing fancy But they had a severe manpower shortage in the kitchen. I initially ordered coffee. Coffee wasn't great. Then, later on, we moved to the bar and ordered alcoholic beverages. Decent, but again, bar was not stocked properly. I tried to order special summer drinks which they had placed on menus, but they could not make it due to lack of alcohol. I probably won't stop back there the next time when I'm in the la guardia airport

First off, this is an airport restaurant, not a fine dining establishment. Keeping that in mind will definitely help. To start, the service at the bar from Trevaun was fabulous. We were well taken care of without him being on top of us. And no judgment for our morning drinking and feasting. (We'd just finished a cruise this morning, so you shouldn't judge us either!) Typical airport markups on wine & booze. But, nice options on both. We had the pasta ala vodka and sausage and broccoli rabe orecchiette. Both were ok. We're used to fabulous Italian food...but again airport, right? I can tell you, in addition to the great service, you have a great view of the planes taxiing to the runway and the water. Also, outlets everywhere to charge your devices. And, comfortable seating. Next time we're here, we'll stop again. That speaks volumes.

Popped in here for breakfast. She had hash and eggs and I had classic platter. The music was loud and food barely edible. The staff although very nice very scattered and slow. I regretted stopping.

Ate here before my flight and sat at the bar. Had a great glass of Cabernet Wine and the Chicken Milanese. Delicious. The view of the planes taking off was fun too.

The service was exceptional (5 stars), but the breakfast was just average (3 stars). Frida was friendly and efficient. She brought us water, and filled our water bottles with ice and water. She took our orders, and someone else brought out our 2 egg, bacon, toast and home fries breakfasts expeditiously. She gave us our check when we requested it, and we tipped her 25% for excellent service! The breakfasts were good, but the food was warm - not hot. We asked for crispy home fries, but they were the usual fare. The bacon was extra crispy and the scrambled eggs were well done. We forgot to ask for limp bacon and barely cooked scrambled eggs. But would it have mattered in light of the average - not crisp - home fries? The restaurant is very nice. It's one of several new ones in terminal B that we were not familiar with. We ate and relaxed before walking to our gate. On the way to Gate 56 we saw 2 more newer restaurants that we'll try next time.

Rigatoni and vodka sauce - no flavor at all.

I do not often write bad reviews. But I consider this a service to travelers. The Mulberry Street Italian Eatery is in Laguardia Terminal B. It is convenient and there is plenty of seating. I had a bit of time between flights so I opted for a sit down meal. I wanted a thin and crispy pizza that I saw others post ... but alas, they no longer offer that style of pizza. So I got the rigatoni with vodka sauce. ($23). On the bright side it was a healthy portion served hot. Kudos! But the pasta was severely over cooked and the entire dish lacked flavor of any kind. No bread or extra cheese or spice was offered. Completely bland. This was essentially old cheese that did not melt with a sauce of over thinned tomato soup. A complete waste of my time. Nobody even asked how my meal was. 2 stars is generous.

Espresso martini, made to perfection. *chef's kiss*

The space is quaint and cozy, but what really made the night unforgettable was the hospitality, especially Grissel. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel genuinely cared for. Her knowledge of the menu, thoughtful recommendations, and ability to read the table were next-level. We all had different tastes and interests, and she somehow managed to guide us perfectly without ever feeling rushed or scripted. I honestly can't remember the last time we all felt so welcomed and celebrated at a restaurant. The food was outstanding across the board. The bruschetta was simple, fresh, and easily the best I've had. I ordered the rigatoni with vodka sauce (add chicken), and if you're lucky enough to hear about the vodka sauce, don't hesitate. Every dish at the table impressed: ravioli, clams, risotto, and eggplant pomodoro with shrimp. All big hits. Even the chef stopped by at one point to share recommendations, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. We left feeling full, happy, and already talking about when we'd come back. An unforgettable girls' night, amazing food, and hospitality that truly stands out. Can't wait to return.

It's clearly a classic, long-standing place: there were many older guests, probably regulars for years, and also a good number of younger people too. Free bread basket built like a full-body gym workout. Service was top-notch -- drinks never empty, not once. Started with fried calamari and their house sauce... dangerous. Baked clams so good we used every carb on the table as a sponge. No crumbs left behind. Then the heavy hitters: veal parm + chicken parm combo like a tag team match. The chicken parm came out looking like a beautiful landslide of sauce and cheese -- couldn't even see the chicken and I wasn't mad about it. Also smashed the chicken fettuccine Alfredo: rich cream, butter, parmigiana, imported mascarpone... pure respect. Closed it out with chocolate mousse, then they hit us with free biscotti like a victory lap. Park Side isn't a meal -- it's a commitment. Queens stays undefeated.

When we walked in, it felt more like a busy pizzeria with a dining area than the trendy spot we were expecting. The place was packed, and we ended up waiting about 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, we noticed right away that the menu didn't match what we had seen online. In the videos, every pasta dish came with burrata, but here it was an extra charge. The bread bowl itself was also a $7 add-on, which pushed the $25 pasta dishes to nearly $40 each -- a price that simply doesn't make sense for what you get. Staff was friendly, but the busboys seemed completely untrained, and service overall was slow. We did receive our minestrone soup quickly, but it was just okay. The soup's kidney beans and chickpeas were noticeably undercooked. When the pasta arrived, the disappointment continued. The burrata, which we paid extra for, was cold and hard rather than creamy. Even the waitress seemed surprised when we pointed it out. We also noticed that the regular pasta dishes (served in normal bowls) were much larger portions than the bread-bowl pastas -- despite the bread bowls costing more. At the end of the meal, the reality became clear: the bread-bowl trend is more gimmick than substance. With two pasta dishes and one soup totaling around $100, the value just isn't there. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Don't be fooled by what you see on social media -- the experience simply doesn't live up to the hype.

While deciding where to go one day, this was suggested and im so glad I went. The restaurant is cozy with tables inside the main dining room and in an enclosed outdoor seating area. Im guessing it opens in the summer. I sat down with my niece while waiting for my sister and for a good 5-7 minutes, no one stopped by and gave a menu nor offered water. Finally after about 3 people walked by not saying anything, someone came. The area is not that big and 7 minutes isnt that long but to sit there any not be addressed by all the staff walking by was annoying. Finally my sister came and we were offered water and a menu. After hearing about the specials and asking for recommendations, we settled on the gnocchi (housemade potato gnocchi, burrata, peas, pesto sauce, toasted pine nuts), Pappardelle alla Bolognese (housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce), and side of sautéed spinach. The food arrived and we were pleasantly delightful by the main. The gnocchi was so soft and creamy, the sauce was delicious. Im not a fan of gnocchi but this was so good. The papardelle was my meal and it was also so good. There was a lot of pasta and a good amount of meat sauce. It was also delicious. The spinach on the other hand was bland. It has no flavor and we had to add some salt. A few times we tried to call someone over to our table but felt like no one was paying attention. When we were done with our meals, my sister had a few pieces of gnocchi left. She asked for a box as it was to be my nieces lunch for tomorrow. I then said, can you also box up the spinach. A few minutes later, the server dropped off a bag with one container and said here's the spinach. We tried to call his attention but he was already walking away. Where was the gnocchi. Finally when we came back, we asked about it and he said oh I thought it was garbage. I said no we asked for it to be boxed. He said let me talk to the kitchen. He came back and said sorry, they cant do anything but one dessert will be on me. I guess thats fine but we more wanted the food for the baby. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu and pistachio gelato. The tiramisu was in a jar as opposed to a cake slice. One bite of the ice cream and I knew it was bad. It was grainy and sandy texture. I looked up why that would be and one reason stated it could be improper storage, like it was unfrozen or melted then refrozen. I wasn't chancing that. I told the server and said I couldn't eat it. He offered another dessert but I said know, then offered a limoncello shot. While I appreciate the offer, we weren't drinking before so that wasn't the best option to offer. I just said im fine without a replacement. When we got the bill, the dessert was taken off like he said he would. We paid and left. Overall the main course/pasta meals were delicious. The sides and desserts could use work. Service was alright. Id definitely come back for the food and to try some of the pizza.

Our server was very pleasant and happened to be the only one working at the time, though with so few guests, it seemed to be all that was needed. We ordered the three-course lunch special. One set included the meatballs to start, followed by the chicken Parmesan and bomboloni for dessert. The other included a Caesar salad, tagliatelle Bolognese, and tiramisu. There was a bit of a longer-than-expected gap between the appetizer and the entrée, especially considering we were essentially the only table being served, as the other guests had already finished their meal. That was a little frustrating. Aside from that, most of the food was solid. The only real disappointment was the chicken Parmesan, which was quite overcooked. It was unfortunate given that the kitchen was only cooking for the two of us. That said, the mashed potatoes, an unusual pairing with chicken Parmesan were excellent: perfectly creamy and incredibly smooth. The tiramisu was also quite good, but the real standout was the bomboloni. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed them, since fried doughnuts wouldn't normally be my first choice for dessert. I would definitely return.
