Def the best Chinese food in the Collierville / Germantown area. Always voted one of the best every year. Ate here again tonight at the restaurant ( rather than take out). Had a great time , good food... everything is always fresh made even the wonton soup. Fast, friendly, clean and always a slightly better vibe than your average Chinese restaurant. Also, portions are large ! We took half of the food home for tomorrow These guys also do great sushi, Thai food and really great teas and fruit drinks.

I went to this place to try out their Boba tea. Walking into the building the aroma did not smell the best. Also, while inside waiting, no one acknowledged that we were there waiting for to go services. One cool benefit is they have a kiosk inside where you can order your food and or beverages to go. I tried the tiramisu Boba milk tea with coffee jelly. It was OK. It comes with some type of foam on top which has a very rich chocolatey flavor. I may come back to try the food.

Got the house special fried rice delivered so I cannot speak too much on service and ambiance. Loved it, the rice was flavorful and had a lot of meat (with big pieces). Nice serving size for the price as well.

A lot of dishes can be vegan by ordering tofu. They have 3 vegan rolls that are pretty good. My wife and I got the red curry with tofu and eggplant. It was ok. Not a lot of flavor. I got the Szechuan tofu curry. Spicy. Again. Kind of bland taste. The sushi rolls were the best. Cucumber, veggie and avocado. So that kind of tells you how basic and flavorless were the 2 main dishes. Good for vegan options but not very good all around. Tried ordering a boba tea but the server said they only had cow milk so that was a pass. Sad. Boba tea is originally vegan since most Asians are lactose intolerant. Good service. Quick and kind

After being seated my server brought my water and I never saw her again. After 10 minutes I walked out. No one noticed because a server and two other greeters at the front were all on their phones.

I've visited several of the Mulan locations and opted for this one due to close proximity to movie theater where I had tickets for that evening. The parking lot was at near capacity as i assume this is the time of day when they see the most guests. Upon arrival, I was quickly seated. Tables are a little close if you have 4 guests as well as the next tables. Due to limited time to spare, I opted for spring roll order and 2 spicy crawfish rolls. The food arrived in a timely manner. Each was to my liking.

New menu items that blew our group away. Everything was very tasty and colorful. It was a bit spicy for me but the rest loved it.

Server didn't really seem familiar with the menu. A lot of checking on menu items which is fine but just took time. Some game was on and he spent most of the time watching it and talking to other customers about the game play. At each turn we had to beckon him to come over - refill, chopsticks, to-go box, check, credit card, etc. Had to drink my daughter's water after the first refill because it was hard to get his attention. I gave him the full 15% tip ($10+) but honestly didn't feel good about it. Cost of the food is above average. Most dishes were pushing $20. So for 3 dishes and an appetizer (no drinks) we were at about $85 after tax and tip. Decor was very nice. Piano inside too which means they must have entertainment at night. When I asked for the password the server said it ended in "4444" - eeeee, really? That sounded so odd for a Chinese place as 4 is usually a taboo number because it sounds like the word death (si). Turned out to be "8888" (8 is a lucky number). Lol. When we got our chopsticks two of the three holders only had one stick in it. How weird. And a bit disconcerting as it made me think maybe they reuse these things. On to the food: Dumplings (off the to go menu): Tasted good. But I would not eat the garnishings which looked old. White rice: ok it's just rice but some places butcher it. Tasted fine. Boiled fish filet in chili oil (#19): probably the best dish we had. Looked impressive but actually on the bottom is all cabbage and not fish. Diced chicken with red pepper Szechuan style (#33): Lighter on the Chinese numbing peppercorn than most places I've had a similar dish at. The chicken they use seems to be of better quality. Juicier and no bones. Also the peppers seemed fresh. Pork with preserved vegetables (#58): did not look at all like the picture which looked like a knuckle. Came sliced. A couple of pieces were super duper tough and chewy like I imagine the the sole of my shoe would taste. At those prices I don't think we'll be back. Or maybe we'd just do take out as I think they give a discount rather than me having to pay someone to watch soccer.

    Fried crab wontons
    Felesha T.

We've ordered from this location for years. I'm not sure if they have a new cook or just cutting back on the quality of ingredients they've used. The food ain't bussin no more! I ordered fried rice, egg foo young & Crab wontons. When I opened the wonton container, I couldn't believe what I saw! There were only 6 wontons for $10.45 (3 got eaten before I could remember to take a pic). What a rip off! Btw we threw the other 3 away, they weren't good at all! Idk how folks recommending this item cause they are NOT a hot item, please take the "fire symbol" off your menu..please!!

Spicy basil chicken this was delicious and spicy very good

The service was excellent and the food was very tasty. We will definitely be back to enjoy the lunch specials. Would have been a 5 star if the salt and pepper shrimp taste better the batter was off.

We sampled several different sushi rolls, appetizers, and hibachi entrees. Everything was fresh and assembled with care. My steak hibachi was good The fried rice had nice flavors and my vegetables were crisp. The sushi was the best I've ever had. The same can be said for the crab rangoon. They came in an order of 6, were absolutely humongous, and were stuffed with crab meat and cream cheese. The restaurant itself seemed clean and organized, but I didn't notice much of the decor. The fried rice is what I remember! Recently Stix's fried rice has seemed to have gotten way more basic but Osaka has really stepped theirs up!! For example, Osaka uses seasoned butter, vegetables, egg, soy sauce, and chicken in their rice. Stix only uses egg and soy sauce now. The difference is very clear and I now prefer Osaka! I also LOVED Osaka's sushi. Talk about having sushi for days- my only complaint is I wish they'd make it easier to tell which rolls are deep fried and that they'd make the menu easier to open. I don't mind a huge menu, but one that I have to spread over two seats is not good. I have to admit, the chicken hibachi wasn't as good as I was hoping for, but I really liked the shrimp. I wish they had some spicy sauce besides sriracha to add to my food, like chili paste. But I guess I'll just get shrimp next time instead. The sushi though was great! I may also just stick to getting sushi here instead of anything else. The Yamabuki rill is so good but it's so big it's difficult to fit into my mouth in one bite. I've enjoyed introducing Thai food to a couple different groups of people and getting to try different things with them. I prefer Pad Thai with pork at spicy level 7 to really appreciate the flavor. If I have had a lot of spicy food then level 10 works but when not I prefer 7. The Pad Thai with Beef was surprisingly good as it is made with angus beef. The Chef's Fried Rice is super sweet and tastes really good without spice. I may try it super spicy one day but I think it's good as is. The sushi here is really good as well. My fav (and my fam's fav) is the Bomb Roll. When it comes to curry this is how I basically feel: - Red and Panaang curries: Great flavors, excellent choices to go all the way to level 10 spiciness. I always eat it with chicken. - Yellow: Has a really distinctive flavor that can be ruined by too much spice. I recommend level 5 or less. I've had this with chicken and tofu and both are pretty good. - Massaman: This curry has a very light flavor and is best kept at spicy level 0-3. People with peanut allergies beware: contains nuts. - Green: I actually dislike this curry. I don't really enjoy the flavor and its burn slowly builds over time after you have eaten your last bite and is hard to counteract. - Jungle: I thought I would like this one because it is just spice, but since it doesn't have coconut milk, it doesn't have any real flavor to it (to me anyway).
