This place has become my main place close to home to go to for Chinese food. I still haven't found anything super addicting but I've really enjoyed most of what I've gotten here lately so I want to keep coming and trying new things. Lately I'm fond of their Jalapeno Chicken dish. We get to-go most of the time but when we do visit here it's quite a treat because of how nicely they have it decorated. Their little alcoves for groups of 6 to sit comfortably and have an intimate dinner together are very cool. The sushi is just ok but I'm willing to try more. Def the best Chinese food in the Collierville / Germantown area. Always voted one of the best every year. Ate here again tonight at the restaurant ( rather than take out). Had a great time , good food... everything is always fresh made even the wonton soup. Fast, friendly, clean and always a slightly better vibe than your average Chinese restaurant. I went to this place to try out their Boba tea. Walking into the building the aroma did not smell the best. Also, while inside waiting, no one acknowledged that we were there waiting for to go services. One cool benefit is they have a kiosk inside where you can order your food and or beverages to go. I tried the tiramisu Boba milk tea with coffee jelly. It was OK. It comes with some type of foam on top which has a very rich chocolatey flavor. I may come back to try the food. read more

So that kind of tells you how basic and flavorless were the 2 main dishes. Good for vegan options but not very good all around. When I opened the container small size shrimp resembling the frozen kind purchased in the grocery store lay on top of a container full of rice. Server didn't really seem familiar with the menu. A lot of checking on menu items which is fine but just took time. Some game was on and he spent most of the time watching it and talking to other customers about the game play. At each turn we had to beckon him to come over - refill, chopsticks, to-go box, check, credit card, etc. Had to drink my daughter's water after the first refill because it was hard to get his attention. I gave him the full 15% tip ($10+) but honestly didn't feel good about it. Cost of the food is above average. Most dishes were pushing $20. So for 3 dishes and an appetizer (no drinks) we were at about $85 after tax and tip. Decor was very nice. Piano inside too which means they must have entertainment at night. When I asked for the password the server said it ended in "4444" - eeeee, really? That sounded so odd for a Chinese place as 4 is usually a taboo number because it sounds like the word death (si). Turned out to be "8888" (8 is a lucky number). Lol. When we got our chopsticks two of the three holders only had one stick in it. How weird. And a bit disconcerting as it made me think maybe they reuse these things. On to the food: Dumplings (off the to go menu): Tasted good. But I would not eat the garnishings which looked old. White rice: ok it's just rice but some places butcher it. Tasted fine. Boiled fish filet in chili oil (#19): probably the best dish we had. Looked impressive but actually on the bottom is all cabbage and not fish. Diced chicken with red pepper Szechuan style (#33): Lighter on the Chinese numbing peppercorn than most places I've had a similar dish at. The chicken they use seems to be of better quality. Juicier and no bones. Also the peppers seemed fresh. Pork with preserved vegetables (#58): did not look at all like the picture which looked like a knuckle. Came sliced. A couple of pieces were super duper tough and chewy like I imagine the the sole of my shoe would taste. At those prices I don't think we'll be back. Or maybe we'd just do take out as I think they give a discount rather than me having to pay someone to watch soccer. read more

We've ordered from this location for years. I'm not sure if they have a new cook or just cutting back on the quality of ingredients they've used. The food ain't bussin no more! I ordered fried rice, egg foo young & Crab wontons. When I opened the wonton container, I couldn't believe what I saw! Second time I have been here. My Memphis Family love this place. Lots of tables for dining in. Good lunch specials and food comes out quick. Had the Hot and Sour Soup - probably the best Hot and Sour soup I have had. Also got the Hunan Beef which was also delicious. Family member got sushi rolls and enjoyed them. I have no idea why anyone thinks this restaurant is better than not eating at all, because it is the worst Asian food I've ever had. I have been a loyal customer since they opened many years ago however I won't be back. Ordered a carryout from their lunch menu online. When she gave me the total it was 17.51 so I double-checked to make sure it was from the lunch menu. She said yes. I grabbed a menu off the counter to check the price and it said it was 11.95 so even with tax it wouldn't have been 17.51 I asked her about that and she said the prices had gone up. No apology, no correction in price just prices had gone up I told her it was the same price on the menu online and she said they also hadn't changed them. Our family comes here often so we stopped for lunch before flying back to Miami. They have a great lunch deal which we all took advantage of! We started with sushi (California, Spicy Tuna and Crunchy Shrimp rolls). They were all delicious, but I especially liked the Spicy Tuna. The starter soups were all delicious and served hot. I had the sesame chicken for my entree and it was very flavorful with a thick Asian sauce. The only thing I would've preferred is that it were served with some type of vegetable. My hubby had the Shrimp Pad Thai which he really liked, however the shrimp was a bit cold. My brother-in-law had the chicken lo mein which he enjoyed. Our staple is chicken hot wok, sizzling garlic chicken and pepper steak beef with fried rice. Their corn soup and west lake soup hit the spot. I'd recommend it as a family restaurant good for dine in and bringing guests. Food usually take 20 mins to come out on a busy night it can go up to 40 mins.
