The food was delicious and the staff is helpful and courteous. Food is good diner food.

The fish fry was served with a large piece of fish and a hearty helping of fries. There was also a small container of coleslaw and a smaller container of tartar sauce. I would have liked a roll served with the meal and a bit more coleslaw. The fish lacked flavor with no seasoning at all nor did the coleslaw which was a bit watery and easily could have tasted a bit better. The fish fry was $12 so I think a generous serving of coleslaw and a roll would make an improvement! This review is offered to give feedback because I do plan to try this new restaurant again in a few weeks! read more

Came in with my sister and brother in law while I was visiting. I hate to do this to a local business but our experience was bad. My brother in law fancies himself a semi regular to this place. And he may be done after our night here. It was prime rib night. The trio started out fine. A young man welcomed us when we walked in. My brother mentioned it was one of the owners. We sat in the bar side. And that is where it all went wrong. The bartender was rotten. I've never experienced anything like it. There were a couple young boys sitting at the bar and one seemed like her boyfriend she may have been fighting with. But it's no excuse for what we experienced. She ignored us for a good portion of our visit. And when she did talk with us she was callous and a snot, and only because I don't want to be mean and swear on here. Normally I'd chalk it up to just a bad day, but this person seemed like she was going out of her way to be rude to us And others at the bar. I felt actually uncomfortable. The prime rib was very good. Almost perfectly cooked. But it wasn't worth it to have to deal with the terror of that bartender. read more

So the other night was the first time I had been to mugsy's the service was very good and the food was just okay my burger was cooked just right but I could tell the quality of the beef was low and the buns were very cheap my table was sticky which means it wasn't cleaned plus the plates our food came out on were greasy and it wasn't from the food even my bowl that had my salad in it was greasy and when I added bacon to my burger it was brought out with bacon bits which was very disappointing who does that...not use real bacon talk about cheap not sure if I'll be going back read more

Mugsy's is our go to. Very friendly and attentive staff, the food is 10/10. Their specials are always good and they're always adding to the menu! Our favorite dishes are the shrimp Alexander, chicken wings, and their country sweet chicken sandwich! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

I'll start by saying they were very busy. It was st pat's day after all. Fish was good. Drinks were strong which is good because you had to wait awhile between them before the bartender could get to you. And the bartender was not going out of her way to get to you. She probably looked at my husband 10 times before finally taking his drink order in between conversations. The place is much nicer than the last time we were here though. Ownership has done a good job cleaning the place up a bit. Just need to find a staff with personality. read more

Been here a few times...and have always had a great meal. Writing today about Thanksgiving buffet. It's nothing flashy, and fairly simple selection...but...boy, was it tasty and the price was outstanding. Turkey and ham were juicy and very flavorful...sides were well prepared too. This building has been home to many businesses in my nearly 40 years in the area and I'm always hopeful, but this is not the diamond in the rough. Seems thrown together quickly with cords all over the walls for fans and speakers. Menu looks promising, but took a looooong time to bring the special of the day with gray meatloaf, smashed potatoes (it said mashed) and the nastiest gravy I have seen on a plate in years. I happened on this place by accident. From the outside it looks like a typical eggs/pasty gravy/microwave based family restaurant. Boy, was I wrong. Facilities is clear and warm. Menu is eclectic and from this century. I had seafood bisque and an amazing hamburger. They claim to have the best burgers...well...I think they might. It's easy to drive by this diner but you will not be disappointed if you happen to stop in. We typically order to go and over the past few years have learned that their mugster plate is delicious, their burgers are huge, their fish fry can feed 2 people, and their prime rib is tender and flavorful. I can also say their buffalo chicken salad is fantastic, as is the shrimp tacos. Their staff is friendly and wait times are usually short. Give them a try!! read more

Was in there last night for burger fries, country sweet chicken sandwich. We will never make that mistake again for $13 plus tax for burger fries and soda. You would think someone could have taken the time to make a hamburg. It was a pre-made frozen food service product that was at least 50% filler. The chicken sandwich once again pre-made frozen food service product with lettuce that smelt like it started rotting 2 days prior, roll cheese lettuce tomatoes were inedible, and the chicken was below sub par. If I could give this place a - 5 star ratting I would. The sad part was that we were one of 2 tables there. there was 1 guy by himself and he left before we ordered. then after we got our food there was a table of 2. Then we spent the rest of the night trying to get the sh&^*y preservative filler greasy taste out of our mouths. I should have know from prior experience with every restaurant that has ever opened in this shack of a building to never even try it. I've tried them several times. Some good (burgers) some not so good, taco salad (better at Wendy's) Taco salad doesn't come with seasoned beef unless added with a $2 up charge, and then not much beef. The first Reuben i ordered was grilled with very little maybe no butter so the next time I ordered a Reuben I specifically asked for it to be grilled in plenty of butter but they put butter inside the sandwich. I complained only to have the order taker argue with me about my request. I can understand maybe he didn't understand (sort of) but why would you continue to argue instead of admitting a mistake and fix it. After today's taco salad experience i doubt if I will come back for some time. The Reuben and burgers do have plenty of meat and if they get your instructions correct are quite good. As far as "Being concerned about your satisfaction" I would disagree as they argue with you about a concern instead of seeking how to correct an issue. read more
