I'd like to give a better review - it's the first one star I've ever given and if the management gets back to me that's up for discussion. We had 7 guys that played golf and wanted separate checks - this is at 3pm, the place was empty. We were told they couldn't serve us. We could have lied and simply sat at 2 different tables but we were honest. We never even got served and we were shown the door. I love highlighting local places and restaurants. It's sad that we couldn't even support this place and put a nice tip in the hands of the server. Maybe next time? Just be careful if asking for separate checks. Our portions were generous and the food was tasty. The menu wasn't overwhelming with choices. The Lobster Bisque was piping hot and flavorful. It would have been nice to have a secondary soup option that was not shellfish, as my hubby is allergic and the only other option was Clam Chowder. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and Lindsay was the only bartender/server in the building. She ran around nonstop doing her best to attend to everyone in the bar area and the dining room. We give her 5-stars for effort, even though we had to wait to be served and did not any refills on iced tea. We would give this another try and do hope they are able to find more help with servers. read more

This was my first time eating here and it went like this...First off, there's plenty of off street parking and easy excess to the bar...Next the room was very clean and open with a giant eating area adjacent to the main bar room for more dinning...Next onto the food...The menu is pretty vast with all of the usual bar food like, wings, burgers, salads and on Friday's they have fish fry dinners...I ordered a Creek Side cheese burger with fries and a diet cola...The food arrived pretty fast and boy was it tasty...The burger cooked to perfection, the fries crispy and the meat sauce was very good, not too hot and not too bland...The service was also very nice and friendly...The damage with tax and 20% tip was $25.00, not cheap but the quality makes up for the price...So if you're in the sprawling metroplois of Rush NY stop in for a nice meal. read more

Had a terrible experience at Creekside yesterday afternoon. Our golf group went there after playing at Wildwood as we've done for MANY YEARS! Seven of use came in and started to take our seats. It was 3:00 in the afternoon, and we were the ONLY ONES in the restaurant. Not one single other customer was there! The server (forgot her name, sorry) said that since we were a "party of seven," all the meals would have to be put on ONE check. This has never happened at ANY of the other restaurants we go to after golf (including YEARS at Creekside). We all use credit cards and always get separate checks. We asked "what if we came through the door as a group of four, and sat separately from a group of three?" Would we be given separate checks? She said "Yes, but you can't do that now because I know you're together." She then said, if you each want to start up a separate tab, you can do that at the BAR! We asked "Ok, if we each started a tab at the bar, ordered our food, then could we bring our food into the dining room to eat it?" She said No. We said "but that's still seven meals and seven separate checks at the bar." Still a "No." At that point, we all walked out and drove up to the Mendon Hotel where we all had a nice meal. It's a shame because the restaurant could have made more than $150 on food and the server could have picked up around $50 in TIPS! We won't go back there again (unless they change their unreasonable policy). read more

It's a great place to stop if you're in Rush NY. With the falls directly across the street it makes for nice scenery. The food is excellent my favorites are burgers and Mac and cheese. They are made perfectly and the service is excellent there as well. The staff is very courteous and attentive whether at the bar or seated at a table. read more

The staff was friendly. The salad was fresh and crisp. The cup of New England clam chowder was hot and creamy. My crab stuffed fish was tasty, well salted and the cod was flaky. The dish had a nice layer of golden brown toasted bread crumbs on top. I left full and requested a doggy bag. Delicious! read more

first i want to say the waitress and service was good. the food on the other hand was the worst my wife and I had ever had at creek side. we had orderd wings and i had orderd onion rings as well. the garlic parm wings were so salty they were not edible; the onion rings were just as salty. i had told the waitress of how we didnt like the wings being overly salty and she said she would let the kitchen know.our waitress never asked if there was something else she could get us so i then orderd a burger and when it arived i was very disapointed with how salty it was aswell.the uneaten food was never removed from our bill. We still ended up paying for our entire meal. its ashame that this is how creek side is. unfortunatly after all these years i will not be returning to this resturant again. read more

Clean and friendly place. Best burger and fries I've had in a long time. Properly cooked, enough bacon and cheese to top this generous burger and served on a fresh roll. Good stuff. Go in knowing this was a bar with fish fry Friday. The bar is half of the "restaurant " and the menu is bar food. We went for Monday lunch and it was definitely a bar wanting to have a restaurant.... keep in mind there is one waitress and lots of "cheers" regulars only 30 feet away from the dining area. Sound carried.... so does bar talk. Don't bring kids. The food was ok.... had a lot worse, but not amazing. I'm sure if I came on the weekend and ate at the bar... not as a family.... the rating would be better. I just don't want my son using the restroom in the middle of the day as a local fumbles in the same restroom. Sorry,I'm not impressed with the bar language as I come in for a burger. Won't go again and I've got other "pubs" for food and cocktails on an adult time. Just keep kids away! read more

My absolute favourite restaurant. Fish fry on friday is unmissable, I've scheduled vacations around it lol. Trash plate is delicious too. The best mac salad I've ever had. I go here every week and the waitresses/bartenders will know who you are after you've been there a few times and are super friendly. The owner John walks around frequently checking in with guests. Yikes, worst service ever. Would have had a more attentive bartender at the morgue. Not even close to a full bar and waited well over 10 minutes for each round. I don't usually write bad reviews. Was over charged for 1 beer last night. When I brought it to the attention of the bartender/waitress she didn't believe me and made me feel like a criminal. She was very busy and we had several people in our party, so I can understand the mistake. But there was no reason for her to be rude about it.
