I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad...we went for a garbage plate. The weather was snowy and cold so Sal's was close. I was craving the local delicacy. Ok the price has come up a bit...I think it was $44 for 2 plates. Two cheeseburger plates with mac salad, home fries, fresh onion and seasonings. It's a small place so if you're dining in seating is limited. We grab a table and open the Pepsis. Phone is ringing and people are picking up sandwiches, pizzas, plus other food. It's more of a takeout place. In a bit the plates arrive. Definitely what I was craving. Home fries are crispy, burgers (thick burgers) are cooked to perfection, mac salad and the rest is good. Not sure why this Salvatore's (Honeoye Falls) is so bad. Every time we've ordered, the food is overcooked and dry. Half the time they don't put the right toppings/sauces on the order. I just don't get it, I thought because it being a decent franchise it'd be better. We've really tried with this place but seeing the other reviews, I guess I'm not the only one. read more

Purchased a large sheet pizza and it was baked to perfection with tons of pepperoni! Nice job and highly satisfied.

My pizza and wings were delivered in a 40 minute window which was good but the cheese and pepperoni on the pizza was way over cooked and the chicken wings were dressed but very dry. I made up some wing sauce and dressed them myself. Somehow, their quality and quality control has really gone down hill. read more

I was in the area and needed to grab a bite before heading back to NYC so I decided to get 2 slices. The staff was really friendly and recommended me a specialty pizza (I forgot the name of it.) I got the pizza she suggested and it was really good. I loved the crust, and the flavor was great. I sat in their outdoor seating area, located on their sidewalk, and I noticed that they have multiple delivery cars. They had so many deliveries during the time I was there, and I see why because their pizzas look so good and the one I had was yummy! I also loved their pink pizza boxes. read more

I DIDNT LIKE AT ALL!!! I was there a few weeks ago and the kid on the phone was seriously rude to me! He straight up cussed me out over asking for a discount! We waited over an hour for our pizza order (pick up), got home to find it was not what was ordered, called and the knucklehead that answered really could care less. Went in today and the girl making the pizzas was not wearing a mask over her nose. Several other employees (including one who seemed to be a manager) were chatting with her while I waited for my order and none of them told her to fix her mask. It was clear she wears it that way intentionally. They are putting their customers lives at risk. I wanted to support a local business by ordering take out but they are reckless and are going to kill someone! read more

Great pizza place, I guess this is a chain. 4 or 5 other locations... Anyway, very small place, with very reasonable prices. 4 tables inside, but we ordered takeout. They had a TV which we watched while we waited. Service was respectful and took our order quickly upon arrival: 2 large pizzas, one plain, one with meat. They even had their own napkins. So different from a pizza place in NYC or on Long Island. The restaurant itself is plain and lacks decor. Needs to be more vibrant. After 15-20 minutes, which was a reasonable waiting time, we took out our pizzas. Great pizza with so much flavor. Very interesting look and slicing method, unlike any one I have ever seen. I had a steak sub the other night and again it looked like the meat is just shoved in the bread. There is no TLC when it comes to making subs. Also, I noticed that one of the workers did not wear gloves when she added onions to one of their plates. After the food is cooked, you should really wear gloves. I was really grossed out. She was the one who also cut my sub, presumably without gloves. I would not recommend this place. read more

Salvatore's in Honeoye Falls has inconsistent food quality and terrible service. We called for Pizza on Halloween night, got put on hold for five minues and then the line disconnected. So we called back and was put on hold again for five minutes and again the line disconnected. So we called back a third time, told the young, brainless girl who answered for the third time that we did not want to be put on hold again because we waited forever and kept getting disconnected, and she said "Duh, it Halloween, the busiest night of the year for us, so you are just going to have to hold again." Needless to say, we did not hold but instead hung up and called Guida's Pizzeria. They picked up on the second ring, took our order immediately and told us it would be ready in 20 minutes. Good-bye Salvatore's and Hello Guida's!! Never again will Salvatores get any business from us - good-bye and good riddance! read more
