The pizza is pricey and small compared to their competitors. Ventured back after seeing a questionable Tik Tok video. I was curious if things had gone down hill or were not as great as the last time, but I can only say positive things. For a feeding a family this is not the most economical option or best, but for the occasional special treat it works. Knocking off a star for the price. Also they charge $1.50 for blue cheese.

I moved to Texas in '82 and only got back to Rochester a few years ago. I didn't realize Nino's was still in business till just recently. I stopped in there tonight and ordered an extra large Sicilian pie. Nino's son Jimmy is running it now. The place is a liite different inside but the pizza is as good as I remember...that marinara sauce is still the same, flavorful and slightly sweet, loaded with mozzarella and a very generous amount of fresh toppings, all at a very reasonable price. I've traveled the world since I've been gone, even to Italy, and I don't remember pizza better than this. I'm glad they are still around. If you're looking for a great Sicilian pie, look no farther then Nino's... Molto bene!

The pizza was mediocre at best and was quite burned on the bottom. The tomato bisque had to be from at least two days ago because it had been cooked for so long. It tasted like scotch. It even looked like it too. Take a look at the picture. The restrooms were in long need of attention and care. It's kind of a small space inside for dining; there are about 6 tables or so. It's quite cold... Well, at least it was to me; but, then again, I'm not huge on ac. My friend did quite enjoy it on the hot day we visited. We both ordered half French bread pizzas made with the tops; me the bbq chicken (it could've used a bit more chicken), her the pepperoni (it had a good amount of pep). We both agreed that we thought it would be much saltier with a name like Salty Bread and choosing the top, which was said to be the saltier side. So that was a bit of a let down. But we both still did like the nice crunch of the crust on the bread and our pizzas as a whole.

The toppings were generous, and we ate almost the entire thing. My son loved picking out a bag of Ruffles to go with his slices, and it was great that they had cold drinks on-site too. Looking around, it was clear that there are a lot of regulars including families. The people who work here clearly care about their customers, which makes for such a great atmosphere. When I tried to tip at the counter, the cashier politely declined and simply asked me to come back again. Since the table was serviced, I left a tip there.
