I asked about a discount on my next order after they delivered a pizza with no cheese or sauce on the equivalent of three slices due to an air bubble from the crust. The kids that work there said there was nothing they could do at all after I asked the second time. They can make a decent pepperoni pizza, but the quality and consistency is hit or miss at your expense. "There is nothing I can do to make it right", the kid said. Brilliant customer service young man! I'll try them again after they make it right, but in the meantime I'll order from Marks. Their pizza is a much better value anyway. read more

Limited pizza options in a small town, with that being said pizza land is just ok for me. I've ordered a few sheet pizzas for work and they were good. Lots of sauce and toppings they don't skimp on those. Sauce is sweeter than most places. It was a little challenging for the staff to get 8 sheets out by our pick up time. I've gone in for just a slice at lunch time, always busy during the lunch rush. Order ahead for a SU or sandwich. Parking can be an issue with limited spots out front. Sometimes you have to park on a side street and walk over. People are nice here, definitely a small town pizza place. read more

If there was an explosion here, as long as nobody was hurt, everyone would be wondering "where did the pizza land?" What I liked: - The service... the girls are very friendly and flirty and sweet. - The pizza... it tasted pretty good and did the trick. - The price... it was under $3 for a large slice. - The info... they told me the history of the restaurant and the other 2 locations in Caledonia and LeRoy (the original). - The setting... it's on a lovely green lush roundabout right in the heart of Avon. It's one of the loveliest settings for a pizza place, like... ever. - The service again... they put a slice pie in for me just because I called and asked if they had any slices... What I didn't like: - The heat... they didn't heat it up for me. - The dough... it wasn't too great, it reminded me of party pizza dough or frozen pizza dough. So all in all it's a good slice, and for pizza fans in these little towns, skip the chains and give Pizza Land a try, it's well worth your custom, it's cheap, they're friendly, not the best you'll ever have in a region full of great pizza, but definitely good, and lovely people too. It's right on the border between a 4 and a 5 but all the good points outweigh the bad so I'll slip it a very marginal 5/5 and well done. And if all of Italy ever randomly exploded due to being "just too cool" or having "just too many horny young guys on mopeds hitting on foreign tourists", then everyone would wonder the same thing: Where did the leaning tower of Pisa Land? read more

Like the other reviews, their pizza is good...not great. However, it seems to be a typical style for the area...thick, airy crust with a sweeter tomato sauce, and plentiful toppings. Not my fave style, but good anyway. I have had a few of their subs...omg! So good! Great size and chock full of meats, cheese and toppings! Their loaded fries were also good....cant go wrong with bacon and cheese on fries! So, for the food, they would get 3 1/2 stars. BUT...there staff has always been so friendly, polite and engaging that i think they deserve the extra half star! Great work guys! read more

Pizza was so oily that the oil leaked from the box on to our car seat and clothes. This also caused the dough not to rise on the pizza making it paper thin in the middle. I understand mistakes happen, but wanted a refund for the disappointment and expensive damages. I called to speak to the manager immediately because their website says to call same day to be eligible for credit. At first I was told I needed to return the pizza for a refund, which seems a bit petty. I offered to send photos because I was not about to damage my car again with more oil. The manager tried explaining that she personally made the pizza and that's just how they are. After a bit of pushback from her she finally said she would refund, but then said she could not do it through their system and that I needed to call Slice (web order app). So, I call Slice and they tell me the restaurant needs to do it but that they would call on my behalf to get it processed. Despite the damages, I would have considered trying them again if I didn't receive so much grief over a refund. I don't know if it is the manager's rules or the owner's, but it's a very poor experience and not a good way to try and retain customers (especially in such a small town). read more

Old favorite but has disappointed last couple of orders. Must be a new cook? Pizza used to be square cut and full their delicious sauce!

The pizza and wings are the best in town. The staff is always trying to accommodate even during a rush with not enough staff on hand. We order from here twice a month at least! read more

Love their pizza and subs. They usually have a sub of the month which is a very good deal. Their pizza almost compares to the stuff u can get in Buffalo. Dining in they have some cool napkin drawings. They do a good business and i would recommend. read more

We had our annual pizza party for ZYX (Senior Group) Club in February. We meet in the Village Hall and it was convenient to have it delivered hot and fresh. We had sheet pizzas with cheese and pepperoni and a sheet pizza with half sausage. We got a lot of compliments from many members. It was a fun and tasty meeting for sure. Best pizza hands down! Best to eat it there when it's fresh out of the oven in the shop where there are a few tables and booths. The sauce is sweet just like I like it and the dough is crunchy on the bottom and perfectly fluffy on the inside. They use a ton of cheese and toppings. The wings were very meaty as well. This use to be my go to pizza place in Avon. Past few times I've ordered our wings were not cooked all the way.(I ordered extra crispy) we also did not get extra cheese or light sauce on the pizza. I've noticed if we order during the week everything is perfect weekends not so much. Guess it depends on who's cooking. Still come here a few times a month and get chicken finger sub's. They're amazing and always hot and fresh. Whenever I call the staff is always friendly and the wait time is usually never long unless its a Friday night, Even then only 5-10 minutes longer then usual it's not bad at all! read more

Pizza Land pizza is addictive. If you grew up in Avon you are already addicted. The faces change but the taste stays the same. It's not world class, but it is something you must have a few times a year or you'll get cranky. read more

I went in to pick up my order and there were literally zero other customers in sight and yet all the employees didn't say hello or anything even as I stood at the counter. Finally someone decided to wander over. When I got home my order was wrong. On their site it says if you want a refund you have to alert them that day; well, I tried.
