What a neat coffee shop! We stopped in as our American Cruise Lines had a port call at Wheeling. A guy we met on the sidewalk by the port said it was the best coffee shop and that he drives over 25 miles almost daily to get espresso drinks from here. After enjoying our iced lattes I can see why.

We needed a coffee place, and this one popped up on the map. While there is construction going on on the street and you have to park in a side street, the store is great, and the host was even better. We will be bac next time we are in the area as this a coffee place you want to be.

Stopped here on my road trip and absolutely loved it! Such a great coffee shop with an enormous amount of drink variety. For example, I ordered "The Grant" and it was incredible! One of the best milkshakes I've had in a LONG time. Their food was prepared fresh and was delicious. I ordered the Monte Christina and it was a perfect combination of sweet and salty. My friends ordered other sandwiches and everyone said their food was delicious. Lastly, I love the vibe! If I lived in this town, I would come here all the time. The people who were there were friendly, patient, helpful and extremely nice. Highly recommend!

I have been wanting to stop into Mugshots when I'm visiting from Pittsburgh, but they aren't open on Saturdays! My boyfriend told me to order him a drink called the Grant (cold blended vanilla non-coffee drink) on my way in. I called over the phone and put in the order. I asked for mine to be made with almond milk. I rolled up to the shop and there was a cute sign out front where you can have your order brought to you! Curbside! Nice! Walking in, the place had a nice cozy vibe. I liked the old fashioned looking register. The girl who helped me was kind and rang me up. She made my drink with oat milk instead of almond milk, but that's fine. It was delicious. The Grant tasted like an horchata almost. I look forward to trying more items from their menu.

I stopped into this cafe while I was in town, and it is a fantastic place to grab a small lunch and coffee or tea. It has a west coast vibe and the barista/owner is very friendly and pleasant to chat with. Will definitely come back anytime I'm in town.

But…read morefor my wife's and I anniversary I wanted to play the junk box at 4:45 PM on March 10, 2026, to play Music Groups, Aerosmith, "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing", and Savage Garden, "I Knew I Loved You". So I approached the juke box, and the bar tender Whoever said, that this is a family-owned restaurant, and they don't play the juke box during the day, because it is a family restaurant, but they have the Game Room, playing crude country music that doesn't respect the family, and they say my music is going make trouble. Plus they can have restricted stuff from not playing, instead, I felt singled out as a guest there. Yes, you can have your double standard rules, because this is America, and the freedom to do whatever you feel like, but that does not mean I have to go there to be singled. I don't have to go back there. The first time was great in January, but on my wife and I anniversary of 26 years, I think I can find a place where I feel more welcomed. It is always the case of passing a great place down through the family, in order for it feel unwelcomed of the glory days. Yes, I know this place has been around since the 1990's, but it is a very unwelcoming place. You can act nice, while showing you didn't want us there. They said it was because Karaoke was at 7PM, while a minute song at 4:45PM. While they didn't even know what songs I was going to place. Again, I thought it would be an old-fashioned feel. Thus instead, I felt the Cold Ridged Religious Feel that was a double standard of Gambling Rooms and so forth. Yes, I went to seminary and everything else, but I am going to let everyone choose their own path. They have their ridged rules, but that does not mean I have to eat there, especially for anniversaries. It is not an anniversary or a place for specially occasions. Again, it doesn't bother me one bit, because I move on, but I am raised with certain values to tell what I believe. My wife felt the onion soup was too breaded and cheesy. They had a great Salad and Gluten Free Pizza. And the bathrooms are clean when I went in there, but I don't feel welcomed there. Like you're a stranger that should never return. I just wonder.

It is located in the Centre Market, along with many other shops and food spots. The girls working were very nice and lovely to converse with! We asked if they do a "medicine ball" -type drink, and one of the girls texted another person to make sure it was correctly made (she said not explicitly on the menu but they make it at customers request!) We got the tea, a seasonal latte, and a drink from their surprise jar. They have a jar with various drinks on pieces of paper, and you can pick one at random to be made if you are looking for something new or want a surprise! I never saw this before at a coffee shop and thought it was awesome. All of the drinks were great and the shop's ambiance is quaint and cozy. They are in the market amongst other shops, and have plenty of seats and tables to spread out at. If I lived in the area, I would come here to hang out or to meet up with friends. Would highly recommend the shop and will stop back when I am in the area!

It's 10 scoops of…read morechocolate and vanilla ice cream, plus a whole slice of apple pie, a giant cookie, a brownie, Nutella, whipped cream, almond slices and cherries. It's very big and a little ostentatious. So, if you don't like strangers looking at you eating a gargantuan dessert and commenting on how big it is and how much food you're consuming, because you're in the south and people can't mind their own dang business, you might want to order something different. Between four people, we ate almost all of the sundae easily. Our server was impressed that we had finished almost all of it, and said that she's had parties of eight who didn't eat as much as we did. My kids were proud of themselves after hearing that. Before our excessive dessert, we had a normal-sized dinner. I ordered the pepperoni rolls because I wanted my kids to try them. Pepperoni rolls are a West Virginia specialty! The ones at Skyline are pretty good and come with marinara sauce to dip them in. Our table ordered two salads: the Chopped Salad (turkey, bacon, hard boiled eggs, avocado, tomatoes, onion, radish, lettuce, micro greens) and the Left Coast (romaine, black beans, potato, jicama, jalapeño, corn, tomatoes, cilantro). They were fresh and colorful, but the Left Coast had a touch too much dressing. This one would be much better ordered with "light dressing." We also got the pepperoni pizza (big enough for three people to share), the soup of the day which was bean soup, and the mini cheeseburgers from the kids' menu. The kids' menu is big and has 10 options on it, including fish sticks, which I don't typically see on a kids' menu. The service here is amazing. Our server was attentive and on top of everything. We were seated by the big windows that overlook the beautiful Oglebay grounds, and we got to see the sun set. What a nice place to have dinner and dessert at the resort.

We were sat at the windows with a great view of the Christmas lights. They offer regular menu or during the holidays they have a holiday buffet. Food was fantastic, variety was perfect, not overwhelming but just enough to satisfy. There was a beef station, pasta made to order, decadent desserts and even a small children's buffet. The price per person was definitely worth it and the service was top notch. Never had to wait for drink refills or to clear dishes. Can't wait to visit next Christmas!

The waitress started off by telling us all of the menu items that were not available - no chicken, no coquille, no onion soup, etc. 3 of us ordered steaks.
