We grabbed a quick breakfast on a Sunday morning after seeing Muffin Can Stop Us suggested on Yelp. The restaurant is right on Brand and there was a decent amount of street parking. They have 2 small tables inside and 3 covered tables on the sidewalk. I got the Sausage Redemption and my parter got the Dream Come True as well as the La Abuleita and Rose Bud for beverages. I thought the sandwich was decent as well as the drinks. It was flavorful and the aioli added a bit of zing. If I had to make a gripe about the sandwich, it would be that all the photos show what looks like a runny, sunny side up egg inside their sandwiches. However the eggs were pretty well cooked so they're more like the eggs found. In an Egg McMuffin (hope that's not offensive). So that was a little disappointing. Based on their branding, I was expecting a runny egg :(. Also, when I looked at my partner's sandwich, I was struck with a bit of jealousy. His sandwich had bacon, spinach, avocado and tomato and then the same egg, chicken sausage and cheese as mine. But here's the kicker, his sandwich was only $1.50 more than mine. BUT if you look at the menu, they suggest adding hashbrowns ($2.50) or avocado ($1.95). Basically, for the cost of adding avocado, you should just get the Show Stopper or Dreams Come True cause the difference is less than the cost of just adding Avocado on its own. I don't think this is a hack at all but basically go for the pricier options cause they're all better deals than "adding" to the Classic or Sausage Redemption. Anyhow highly recommended, just don't expect a runny egg. We'll gladly be back next time we want a quick breakfast. read more

I mentioned it was my first time and asked what was recommended, she couldn't even give me a straight answer. But it's also nothing that I'd go back for. Came here on a rainy Sunday morning and ordered and received my food really quickly. I got the Show Stopper sandwich, which usually comes with bacon, egg, cheese, avocado, hash brown, and cali sauce, but I replaced the bacon with an Impossible patty. I like how you can customize all their sandwiches to make them vegetarian by swapping the meat for an Impossible patty or just removing the meat completely. The sandwich was really delicious and I especially liked the chipotle aioli sauce. Super worth a try if you're in the area and I'd definitely come back! I like to have greens with my meal and I really appreciate that they have the option here. I was craving a McMuffin for a long time but I refuse to go to McDonald's or eat their garbage anymore. When we arrived around 11am there was a good amount of street parking available and only one other party ahead of us to order. There were so many good looking options on the menu but i decided to go with their sausage redemption which is made with their english muffin, chicken sausage, cheddar, egg, and a side of aioli. The sausage muffin was delicious. The muffin was toasted perfectly, not overly crispy. The bread still had a softness to it and the chicken sausage had a great flavor, wasn't greasy at all. Adding the aioli, which had the slightest spice, to the muffin gave it an extra kick of flavor making for the perfect sausage muffin sandwich.
