I've had issues of them delivering to the wrong home, running low on product and refunding me, or running low on product then asking if I can wait a day or two for shipment to come in..... Online ordering is hit or miss with this location. Kind of annoying how you can't just contact a company 800# you have to call the store number. Customer service wise they've been very good and easy to work with. I've honestly started buying my cat litter at Fred Meyer because it is more reliable. I'm frankly glad covid shipping disruption is over as it is nice not to have to worry if cat litter will be available or not when I come in.

I will not buy any live goods from this store every again. Not the first time I lost fish either. Nice people but beware!

During…read morethe appointment, I received a call saying my dog was being "difficult" and was very afraid of the dryer. This was surprising to hear, as this is the first time I've ever been told my dog was fearful or difficult at a groomer. When he came home, he was acting a little off, but nothing immediately obvious. Over the next couple of days, I noticed he seemed to be in pain. Today, I took him to the vet and was told he has a tail sprain and back pain. I also learned that his anal glands were not expressed, which is something I typically expect as part of a grooming visit. I don't know exactly what happened while he was being groomed, but something clearly did. I've called the store twice trying to speak with someone and haven't been able to get anyone to answer the phone. I'm leaving this review because I'm genuinely concerned about my dog's experience and well-being, and because the lack of communication or follow-up from the store has been frustrating. I hope management takes this seriously and reaches out, as I'm looking for answers and accountability.

But thanks for canceling a little over an hour beforehand same day. Thanks for also not getting my dog rebooked on next available. Instead he was just skipped and shit out of luck. So fast forward to 3/31/23. I call again to see about getting my dog groomed. Apparently Shelby doesn't want to groom my dog because I was annoyed at how they handled his cancelation in December. The salon manager apparently can't get my dog for WEEKS. Lol really WEEKS?! Just say you don't want to groom my dog then. The amount of horrible customer service is terrible. Reason why I went here was because it's close to home and my dog actually really likes Shelby. But to blow off your loyal customers and say too bad so sad is utterly disrespectful. I hope no one goes here moving forward and maybe this place will get better at customer service, communication, and accountability.

My pup seemed to like the raw food but it does give him runny stools (you can return the food if it doesn't work out for you). The cashier said the food goes into donation when returned which is a great policy instead of wasting it and trashing it.

Since then, they have been having high turnover and 3 different people have groomed him. Each one doing a worse job and, charging more. This last person Wednesday, April 10 was horrible. I asked them to thin out his hair, smooth out the sides. When I picked him up, nothing was smooth or thinned out. I asked her to try again and she just made it more choppy so I asked her if she could smooth it out And it got worse. He looked like garbage. I said never mind. They charged me $145 and I left. When I got home, I noticed quarter sized scrapes behind each ear, which were raw. Clearly they had been bleeding at the shop before I picked him up. I will never take my dog there again.

And our cats that are super picky about toys, pretty much love anything I get there because they carry toys that pretty much any cat would love. I don't know how to explain that exactly but it's very different than going to a PetSmart or a Petco in terms of their products I feel like their prices are super reasonable as well so I don't even try to price check it against anything online. I did…read morelots of research online and found this great food that I could buy at this random pet store down the street. I'd been buying my stuff online for years, so going to a store was pretty foreign. I also needed soft food but I wasn't quite sure what kind, cause I also have a fat cat who shouldn't be eating much ... fat. Something very prevalent in soft food. To make a long story short, I met someone - a few someone's - and they have been awesome. I actually enjoy going to the store to buy cat food just so that I can see who's working to say hi. They helped me pick out soft food when I desperately needed it and I am eternally grateful. (The soft food I was feeding them previously had too much fat in it and had to be switched) Since then I've gotten toys, and beds and all kinds of stuff. I'm almost out of soft cat food. :)
