Great products and helpful staff. They are my store of choice for my pet care needs.

I had issues. Right then, it was a crazy sick cat who needed the right kind of food asap. I did lots of research online and found this great food that I could buy at this random pet store down the street. I'd been buying my stuff online for years, so going to a store was pretty foreign. I also needed soft food but I wasn't quite sure what kind, cause I also have a fat cat who shouldn't be eating much ... fat. Something very prevalent in soft food. To make a long story short, I met someone - a few someone's - and they have been awesome. I actually enjoy going to the store to buy cat food just so that I can see who's working to say hi. They helped me pick out soft food when I desperately needed it and I am eternally grateful. (The soft food I was feeding them previously had too much fat in it and had to be switched) Since then I've gotten toys, and beds and all kinds of stuff. I'm almost out of soft cat food. :) read more

Sunny day, lots of shopping. So, wearing my sunglasses and carrying a bag, I casually head for the cat-food section of the store - in the back. An employee damn near races me for the back. She hovers the entire time I'm in the store asking if I need anything, if I'm finding everything, even going so far as to brush off another customer who asks for help. I don't like being treated like a shoplifter while I pay more-than-Petco-or-Petsmart prices for cat food. I was in a jam and busy, so I figured I'd stop in to pick up a little canned food for the pickiest of my felines. I figured maybe this was a fluke and visited again a few weeks later when they had a sign up advertising a sale on said cat food. The employees were rude, surly and too busy talking to each other about the customer that was leaving the store as I came in (and "OMG he's so weird!") to even ring up my purchase. Well we have a dog in severe decline who needs diapers. I went to Pet Pros because it is the closest store to our home. I should've gone to PetCo like usual. I was the only customer in the store. I walked around the ENTIRE store five times( no exaggeration) looking for the correct product. The clerk, a teenage gal, long dark hair, never said one word. When I was 5 feet from the door clearly on my way out she asked me if she could help me find anything. This is clearly not the job for her. I hope the other employees represent this store better. read more

I liked this place alright. I have only been in a couple of times but they are right down the street from my apartment , and are always friendly with both me and my dog when i've/we've come in. I was happy I actually came into this store because moving from dry climate to a mostly wet one I wanted some sort of "rain coat" for my dog. (Yes, I dress my pet in clothes. But he's a super furry beast and really, you don't wanna deal with that guy being consistently soggy). They actually had a big variety of jackets to go over (unlike Petsmart that only seems to carry doggy sweaters). They helped me try a couple models on my pooch and help me find a poncho that fits the guy just right. They are also liberal in giving out cookies to my dog, and he loved them for that. read more

Meh. I've experienced better. That's Mud Bay. Even All Ths Best. In nearly every category (except location because Pet Pro's closer to me) Mud Bay's the goal standard: Product Variety/Inventory, Product Education, Animal Science/Husbandry, Feeds & Feeding knowledge, Employee training, Customer Service. PetPros is to Mud Bay what BigLots is to Nordstrom. Save yourself the experience and head to the competition. read more

I really like Pet Pros. They have the oven baked Avoderm food, and a good selection of healthy treats for my dogs. They stopped carrying raw hide chews (which I gave them once a week for their teeth) otherwise it'd be five stars. I recommend this place, good selection and good prices, and very convenient. read more

I like shopping at Pet Pros for many reasons. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have frequently asked for suggestions on different foods and goodies and have always gotten what I thought were sincere recommendations, not just trying to sell me something. With back issues it is hard for me to carry heavy items and I am frequently buying 35-40lbs of dog food. They have always helped carry these heavy items to my car. They are in a convenient location, have great hours and have a good return policy. read more

I like this store because the workers here are very friendly. Kind of like that home town feel. HOWEVER, they follow your every move in this store. I took it personally, but then I decided they have probably experienced some shoplifting as a business and that ruins it for the rest of us. Too bad, too sad. Therefore, I rarely go into this place for my pet and would rather drive down to The Landing at PetSmart. read more

This is a very well managed and friendly location. I shop here for my higher end pet needs. DJ & Marie are extremely polite and helpful with any questions or advice. They both helped me find the best choice for my dogs anxiety and explained both products very well. I would recommend this location to anyone! read more

I love this Pet Pros. Whenever I go in, I am always helped right away if I need it and if another customer isn't already being helped. The employees, in my experience, are always knowledgable and nice. I appreciate that very much. Prices are a bit high, but that's just how it goes these days. Besides, you get what you pay for. The more expensive, it's usually better quality. I will always go to this Pet Pros unless I visit another small pet business (supporting small businesses is something I try to do). :) read more

Best place for top notch dog food that won't leave a negative impact on the puppy pallet. Nice knowledgeable staff.

UPDATE: After my initial post, I received a message from Emily who works at this location. She informed me that whomever I spoke with on the phone was misinformed and that she would love the opportunity to make it right. I just have to say, I've worked retail management for 3 years and just to have someone reach out to you and try to right a wrong, is one of the best feelings in this industry. I can't express how grateful I am, she was so professional and helped me pick out 2 new toys (that have lasted Leia over 2 days!!! This is big news people). She also signed me up for the membership program and gave me free treats and a tennis ball! I was honestly never going to come back, but now I'm a customer for life. Thank you so much Emily!!
