I knew I would need at least one night that I would need care for my two small dogs when I was…read moretraveling to the Bremerton area. My dogs are usually with me all the time and I am very hesitant to leave them anywhere without giving two hours worth of instructions. Yes, I'm THAT kind of pet parent. Anyways, I stopped by to check out Linn's place before I took my dogs there and it seemed like a great place and all the dogs seemed happy to be there. She showed me around all the areas that the dogs would be in and I liked that it was very much a home environment, instead of doggie daycares that seem very sterile and not like home. It really is like a little dog adventure land that they can explore the many yards and decks and different areas. After the first night I left my dogs there, I ended up staying longer than expected and having my dogs stay there on five different occasions, one that lasted 4 nights. Each time I felt more and more comfortable and really left my dogs knowing they were in good hands and when I dropped them off and picked them up they were happy -- not scared, anxious or hesitant at all. This is something, especially for my newest dog we rescued from an abusive home just four months ago and he is very timid around most people and new environments. There are also cameras you can check on your pets on, although I never downloaded the app or website. That's how comfortable I was, I didn't feel I needed to check on them. Although I appreciated the picture and video updates that Linn sent me! The price is quite reasonable, but don't forget to leave a little extra if you really appreciate the care your pets have gotten, because she works really hard for the little she charges. Especially with my dogs, I know they're a handful! She is also willing to work with you on pickup and drop-off times and she ensures you are the only person dropping off so it is easy for all involved. The extra gates also give peace of mind your dogs won't escape on accident or if they're looking for an adventure, as mine oftentimes do. Linn really has thought of everything here, and my dogs enjoy staying overnight and playing with all of the other dogs who come here. I just wish I could find a place like this in California, but I'll be back next time I'm in town and know that I can leave my dogs safely while I'm away.

We love this place and our dogs enjoy this place also. Linn, the owner, is a very caring person…read morewho loves all animals. Look at her Facebook, it's all about animals. Linn owns two places side by side. The dogs have a dog run in the center of the house. They can spend all day running back and forth between the houses. This is a very secure area. Your dog(s) spend the night uncaged in the house. They find their own spot to rest. Linn is alway there looking after the pets. Her prices are very reasonable compared to other places. I was very impressed on my first visit. Everything is so clean and well maintained. If you don't believe me, call her up and set up an appointment to visit her place. She has the credentials to back her experience. She is a member of: PSI Certified Professional Pet Sitter and a Member of the National Association of Pet Sitters. She is certified in Animal First Aid & CPR. She is also Bonded & Insuried. When you go to other places, ask about their credentials and experience, they can't compare to the "Personal & Pet Concierce". No, I don't get free boarding for my comments! We have video monitors in our home and we watch their visits sometimes. They talk to the cats and brush them and generally treat our pets as we would treat them ourselves. We usually pay them in advance using Zelle although they have other payment arrangements. They refill the water fountain and the automatic cat feeder and cleaned the litter box before we bought a Litter Robot. They are familiar with this machine and know how to change the catch bag in the tray. One of our cats requires a medication and they take care of that as well. We used to live less than 1/4 mile from their home but in April 2023, we moved to Des Moines, WA. That was still within their coverage area so they continue to help us. Very satisfied.

I was advised they were out of town and it would have to be another day. I had neglected to re-communicate anything for a couple of years..my mistake. I did reach out today March 17th 2024..asking to pick up my house key and was advised it was discarded..after 5 years they apparently, (what I can assume because of no future reservations) discarded keys and just threw it away. I had no call to advise this was happening or email to let me know. I do not really think this is the best way to do business even with someone who only used your service once. Please rethink your practices..especially when you have a key to someone's residence. Thank you

It's definitely cheaper than some spots, but they should charge even less due to the poor service…read moreand treatment they provide to the pups. My dog used to cry on the car ride there - he only gets excited now when we go to his new daycare. Don't think that's any coincidence. They're contained to a windowless warehouse space - *they do not take them outside at all*. So they just poop and pee on the hard cement all day. They randomly kicked our puppy out, mind you with no warning at all, due to his "behavior". When I dropped him off that day, they took him in and then the girl immediately told me she'd be giving him a bath because he just laid in another dogs pee. Like it was our fault.. maybe she should've cleaned up the mess sooner? Then I proceeded to watch her scream at the dogs. She seemed miserable (she was the only one working and there had to be at least 20 dogs in there). When we went to pick him up after we were notified he was kicked out, we thought he bit someone or something. Turns out their reasoning was he was just too rambunctious.. because he's a PUPPY. Why would they let a less than 1 year old puppy into their daycare to begin with if they didn't want to handle puppy energy?? Before leaving with him we asked if he'd gotten that bath and instead of answering the question, the manager/owner (I think her names Tabitha) just proceeded to talk badly about our dog. My partner said, "right you just told me you thought he was too much, I'm just asking if he was given a bath like we were told he'd be given." The owner replied "I'm not sure." She should not be allowed to operate this business. Ended up being a blessing in disguise because we found a new daycare - Kate is pricier than paws play but the dogs run around outside, and she seems like she loves what she does. She's also only said very nice things about our pup - "he's always so positive" for example. He's got high energy but he's a very good dog. Moral of the story, Kate's an angel and Tabitha sucks. Don't put yourself or your dog through this.

A great place, I have zero complaints. The staff is diligent, welcoming, and trust worthy.read more
