Owner passed me on to another man who said the…read moredo not use shock collars only a beeper, my pup was jumping on other dogs so they put this on her. This small goldendoodle has a small fragile neck with the collar tight enough to push on her vocal cords. I looked it up and the collar has 2 large prongs on it and is listed as shock buzz or sound. Unknown what they did but this rangbuncious pup has been lying down for two hours.

She gets so excited when we pull in, pulls us to the door and doesn't even turn around to say goodbye when the lead her out into the dog area. I have no hesitations at all leaving her here since I know she is so happy to be there. The staff is super friendly and you can tell that they love dogs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We do not have her do play time with the other dogs, but she is in her own fenced area and runs around all day. Do note their hours before you go to drop of, or pick up your dog. They are closed for an hour for lunch. I remembered this the hard way by forgetting once and having to sit out in the hot sun for 50 minutes until they opened again!

I was told i could drop him off at 7 and no one was there so idk how they feed the dogs at 7 , it probably more like 8am and 2pm feeding schedule idk olay whatever, so they go to get my dog so we could go home and he is soaking wet , yeah it was raining i get it but did he have somewhere to get out the rain , I've known my dog for 9 years and he wont go off the porch if its raining lol so there is that , and with the daily reports they say he was friendly and wanted loves and cuddles and petting lmao . For 9 years he dont ever want cuddles or pets , hes a fetch driven dog 24hr a day i highly doubt, he wanna love and cuddles and pets. I can't give Canyon Crest K9 high enough praise as my dogs behavior improved dramatically after even just a few lessons. I took their full course and instructions were clear, easy to understand and easy to use. I really like their combination of abundant praise and mild correction. My dogs actually seem happier as well, and visitors to my home have stated they are so much better behaved. I intend to take further courses from Canyon Creat K9. I had taken two other courses from another large dog training facility that uses food rewards, and positive reinforcement only. That training was confusing, critical of my learning and tied to food rewards being high value to the dog and often changing those rewards to get the response that was needed. My dog actually reverted to the behaviors that ended up with my broken arm. in other words, the training didn't stick with either the dog or me. My dogs with Canyon Crest K9 respond to my praise, treats are not involved and I feel like I am communicating with them on a much higher level. With the instruction Canyon Crest K9 supplies an illustrated book written by their founder, provides access to a video that directly links and repeats the exact instructions that are given during the one on one training sessions. I believe they've been in business close to 50 years and it really shows they know what they are doing. I am over 70 with two large dogs that now are a pure pleasure to be around!

A really nice lady answered the phone and invited me to watch a lesson at Canyon Crest K-9 Training. Right away I liked what I saw. The trainer was calm, clear, and direct in her teaching, and she was easy to understand. I signed up for the 10-lesson program, and by lesson three I could already see a difference. My dog was paying attention and actually making the choice to respond to what I asked instead of ignoring me or doing whatever she wanted. One of the things I really appreciated about the training was learning to read my dog's body language, and watching my dog start to read mine. While I was taking my lessons, I noticed some things on the wall about a program called Dogabetics. I told the trainer I was pre-diabetic and didn't need my dog to alert me, but I was interested in watching a lesson where they train service dogs to alert their owners in case someday I might need one. They let me sit in on a service dog training lesson, and it was really interesting to see how they work. By the end of the program, I had a solid working relationship with my dog. I later went on to do personal protection training with Ron Pace, the owner, because as an older woman I wanted to feel safe walking by myself and know my dog could help me if I needed it. You drive/walk up and can see the owner's beautiful dogs. My dogs smell so good when I pick them up which tells me they keep their runs clean. They always come home with these adorable bandanas, & happy as can be. This last stay being so close to Halloween, the dogs were sent home with their "trick or treat" bags of dog treats. I appreciate the staff's understanding of all dog breeds and their care for the dogs when they are in their care!!! Thank you for always taking such good care of my pups!

Your animals of all sizes and behaviors are in good hands with her. I have a 4 year old bully mastiff mix. He's generally good with people as long as his owner is there and he is not rushed into friendship. Lol Upon meeting him she gave him time time at his own pace to get comfortable with her and got him to voluntarily get into her mobile unit and tub. She gave him a great bath. His ears were cleaned, he smelled great, coat was soft and he was very happy. Cassie's deserves 5 stars not only because of her gentle approach with my dog and good service but also because she was very flexible scheduling our appointment and even was patient with me being late for our appointment from a class I had that ran late. I also enjoyed talking with her about animal behaviors, temperament and different breeds. Additionally Her mobile bath business and equipment were clean and well maintained.
