One of the only people our cat LOVES.

My cat likes about 3 people in the whole world until Alena made it 4. This grumpy kitty immediately took to Alena upon her introduction. When we were gone our baby got playtime, lots of cuddles, and Alena even brought her extra Churu (her favorite snack). We got pictures, videos, and updates everyday on our baby. Professional, Top Notch Communication, and a Real Cat Person.

I cannot say enough about our experience with Alena. Kitty Buddy is a very apt name for her business. Mary and Rhoda (yes, as in "you're gonna make it after all..") were in the best hands. When Rhoda, who is very sweet but pretty shy, warmed up to her immediately on Alena's very first intro visit, I knew we had a winner. Alena is incredibly organized - she compiled her careful notes in a Google doc and shared them with me to edit/amend. Being a producer made me feel at ease. While we were away Alena sent reports and photos. I'm usually a wreck when I'm away from them, but the girls had a ball (photos uploaded) and I had not one worry the entire time. And lemme tell you, that is no small feat. Upon return, Mary and Rhoda were perky and talkative. I didn't get the usual stink-eye and cold shoulder. Success! "There is no such thing as kitty TMI." was a parting statement by Alena during our key handoff the day before I left for my trip, as I was yammering and apologetic for bombarding her with more details. These were very good words to hear indeed.

**WARNING** & **BEWARE**…read more If you love and care for your pup and its well being, then I urge you DO NOT bring take them here! This place is a DEATH trap! I have taken my pup here on and off consistently over the last 2 years. I have often have had to take breaks from this place due to various incidents. Bites missing patches of hair, and my dog often being extremely hungry and thirsty when returning from there as if he hasn't eaten or had anything to drink at all. Most recently I came to pick up my pup, not knowing they have changed the hours again ( as they often due to lack of employees) to find that my dog was in alone in "isolation" after being attacked and bitten by another dog. A piece of my dogs ear had been bitten off, by what is obliviously a bigger dog, which whom he should have never been left alone with unattended. My pup is a loving, fun and playful 2year old Pug, without an a aggressive bone in his body. They did not notify me of the attack and injury! Although this was an EMERGENCY, in which they allow pick-up, they tried to hide the injury! When I requested to know the details of the injury, they could NOT tell me ANYTHING! They did not have any answer because they were not present when the injury occurred! They could not tell me what happened, or who the attacking dog was. (that would be necessary to know for future stays) but they are completely clueless because they don't watch over the dogs. You drop your pup off and they go in a cage, while the staff goes to stay in a separate area behind the building of where they store the dogs, or they leave! (which I have witnessed They DO NOT watch over the dogs to ensure that there are no incidents! They DO NOT have cameras monitoring your dog while in there care! They take zero preventative measures to ensure your animals safety, despite knowing the various kinds of dogs they keep in there facility. If injury occurs to your animal here; including death, they will tell you" well you signed a liability waiver and this is a open range facility". You will not be granted access to see the inhumane conditions in which they are not caring for your pet or it's well being! Because they are traitorous and beneath most loving pet owners standards. They did not offer any assistance with my $360 vet bill despite my dog permanently having a fraction of his ear missing! They had no care or concern, and turned a blind eye to a loyal customers. Never returned my phone care or showed any concern. The owner ROBERT GRAHAM refused to speak to me to avoid accountability and forced me to talk only to his employee who has no authority or can provide zero resolve. I take partial responsibility knowing the conditions of this place and taking him back despite the previous incidents which occurred in their care that they had no care or concern about! Just pay more and go to a reputable, dog sitter or day care! There are plenty of places! They didn't even bother trying to clean the wound with soap and water and applying antibiotics, they provided zero care! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY for & this place is the cheapest prices around for a reason!!! Don't risk you let's safety and we'll being! All the bad reviews on here are true, this place is the worst and even in 2023 NOTHING has changed possibly only **THISIS THE WORST PLACE YOU COULD POSSIBLY TAKE YOUR PET, IF YOU TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE, THEN THEY MUST NOT MEAN MUCH TO YOU, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED**

He helped overcome the fear of dropping our german Shepard (people really discriminate against this breed even though he is a huge baby). My little mutt was rescued from a shelter and seemed to be abused in her previous life. She is so sweet with us, but unless you are in her circle (which consists of myself, my husband, and my brother-in-law who lives with us), she will growl and bark at you if she catches you even glancing at her. That being said, she LOVES Happy Dog South Sound! Having never boarded my dogs, I had no idea what to expect, but the staff is so incredibly nice, patient, and helpful! I must have called a dozen times before we dropped our dogs off the first time, and then even AFTER the first time for follow-up questions. I am positive that they have caller-ID because when I called after their first visit, they referred to some details that made me think that they knew who I was. Even then, they were so pleasant to work with! NEWCOMERS: How it works is you need to call and schedule a day to take your pup or pups there for an initial "meet and greet." They can only do the meet and greets Monday-Friday when a manager is present, so be prepared for that. Depending on their availability, they can probably take you the next day. I had two dogs and travel for work, so I made the "reservation" a week in advance. You can drop your pup off between 7am and 9am and then pick them up starting at 3pm to I think 7pm. When you arrive in the morning, they will have you fill out some paperwork, and when you are done, they'll take your pup(s) inside and that's it! When you go to pick up your pup(s), they will tell you if your pup(s) passed or not. If so, then you will receive an email to register for their reservation site called Gingr. The site is easy to use! We've since dropped our dogs off for daycare again, and they brought out a credit card machine when I picked up my dogs, so make sure you have your card with you when you go up to the door! The meet and greet is free, so you won't experience this the first time you go.

We had a deeply upsetting experience with Wet Nose and feel compelled to share our story so others…read morecan make informed decisions. We adopted our dog after being told she was completely healthy with no medical concerns. Within 24 hours of bringing her home, she became critically ill and required three days of emergency hospitalization for severe infection, dehydration, and significant weight loss. We spent nearly $4,000 in vet bills to save her life. After requesting her medical records (which were only given to us AFTER we adopted her), we learned she had undergone major abdominal surgery just days before adoption, including treatment for a ruptured spleen and torn ligaments. She was prescribed medications that were never provided to us (or even disclosed to us) and her discharge paperwork clearly required 10 days of strict bed rest -- yet we adopted her on day five. She had been transported from Texas through Saving Hope Animal Rescue, and it is unacceptable that a dog recovering from major surgery was transported and placed for adoption without full medical disclosure or proper follow-up care. When we contacted Wet Nose for accountability and assistance with medical bills, they refused to help and claimed they were unaware of her medical history. Any responsible rescue should obtain complete medical records and ensure a dog is medically cleared before adoption. I even contacted local shelters asking if this was standard practice, and they were completely shocked at how this situation was handled. I know we are not the only story of this happening. Please do your research on this shelter, there are hundreds of Instagram, Facebook and reddit stories sharing similar experiences. Sharing my story isn't "online slander," it's transparency and holding people accountable. I love my dog so much and am glad she's on the mend, but this situation is completely unacceptable. Wet Nose clearly prioritized profit over animal safety.
