My neighborhood dog group decided to throw a little Saint Patrick's Day party here for us, family…read moreand friends. I was told she was offered a great deal for the rental and some homemade dog treats. Parking was a bit confusing as the parking nearby the business was full and there was a spot that we think was free to use but not sure. As we entered, we were greeted by a staff member who let us in and the space is huge! There were plenty of toys, a dog pool, and little obstacles for dogs to enjoy to their hearts' content! They even have a hose to fill up the pool or just have your dogs chase around. There were little cubbies and lots of areas to hang leashes, coats, and other stuff on. They had Youtube videos playing too. The dog treats were so creative. They had cannoli, biscuits, and much more. All of our dogs seemed to have enjoy the treats greatly, no treats were left behind. All of the dogs seemed to be enjoying themselves as they just had so much to do or other dogs to play with. Definitely look forward to coming back here to throw future dog parties as our group loves to do little events for our fur babies.

This place is super cute decor with friendly and kind staff, but what makes me nervous is how tiny…read moreit is with how many dogs they allow. It made me wonder about the ratio balance between humans vs dogs. I had dropped my dog off for a behavioral assessment, as we have trips coming up and I'm looking for boarding care. This is not where I'm personally comfortable leaving my pup, as the ratio seemed to be 1 human to 15 or 20 dogs in an indoor-only, less than 1500sq foot space. The good news is they are so kind and nice humans, if I was rating them they'd earn 5+++ stars as I'd leave my dog in their care anytime! The problem I had was the physical space (super tiny!) and the ratio of dogs, as they allowed 3 or 4 pups to greet my dog while 15 or so were in a hallway-type space patiently waiting and sooooo well-behaved, to greet and play. The space for playing is very limited, about 1/2 the size of a classroom, and while it's clean and the staff are super lovely, it's probably not the best fit for our pup who loves to play fetch and run. Parking is also super tricky in this neighborhood, as there isn't a parking lot or spaces reserved for the business.

The owners and employees of this company wear their hearts on their sleeves! They simply love dogs!…read more We left our senior dog with them for the first time last week and he just flourished. He was not only safe, bu t HAPPY there! They responded to my first check-in text within minutes, with a photo that warmed my heart. They continued to communicate (unsolicited) during his stay. When I picked him up, he had his exit bath, nails clipped, and a sweater they threw in because "he might get a chill out there because he's still damp." Over and above! I love this business model and the dedication of the women who own the business and employ others who obviously love the dogs. HIghest recommendation!

My experience (well, my dog's experience) at Muttropolitan has been very positive. My dog is an…read moreexuberant rescued Rottweiler. She had basic manners when I brought her there, which I did for socialization and to give myself a break from a demanding still puppy of about 2.5 years old. In the time she has been there she has come a long way. She loves her caretakers, and has several favorite playmates. She has calmed down significantly. They definitely know how to handle larger stubborn dogs without breaking their spirit. My dog is always excited when we drive there. As soon as the car turns onto South Tacoma Way she perks up and start whining and wiggling her bottom. If my dog was unhappy there I am sure that her reaction would be quite different. I hope that she can go there for many more years.

We had a deeply upsetting experience with Wet Nose and feel compelled to share our story so others…read morecan make informed decisions. We adopted our dog after being told she was completely healthy with no medical concerns. Within 24 hours of bringing her home, she became critically ill and required three days of emergency hospitalization for severe infection, dehydration, and significant weight loss. We spent nearly $4,000 in vet bills to save her life. After requesting her medical records (which were only given to us AFTER we adopted her), we learned she had undergone major abdominal surgery just days before adoption, including treatment for a ruptured spleen and torn ligaments. She was prescribed medications that were never provided to us (or even disclosed to us) and her discharge paperwork clearly required 10 days of strict bed rest -- yet we adopted her on day five. She had been transported from Texas through Saving Hope Animal Rescue, and it is unacceptable that a dog recovering from major surgery was transported and placed for adoption without full medical disclosure or proper follow-up care. When we contacted Wet Nose for accountability and assistance with medical bills, they refused to help and claimed they were unaware of her medical history. Any responsible rescue should obtain complete medical records and ensure a dog is medically cleared before adoption. I even contacted local shelters asking if this was standard practice, and they were completely shocked at how this situation was handled. I know we are not the only story of this happening. Please do your research on this shelter, there are hundreds of Instagram, Facebook and reddit stories sharing similar experiences. Sharing my story isn't "online slander," it's transparency and holding people accountable. I love my dog so much and am glad she's on the mend, but this situation is completely unacceptable. Wet Nose clearly prioritized profit over animal safety.
