Walk This Way Dogs is a life saver!! After having some difficulty finding a dog walker available during the day on Rover, we were lucky enough to learn about Walk This Way Dogs! We reached out to Savannah and she came over shortly after to do an initial meet and greet with our dog Wilson. With being out of the house of 12 hours for work it was peace of mind they were able to start scheduling Wilson's walks right away! They sent us pictures, updates, and the walk route after each walk, and they made sure to note if they noticed anything unusual on his walks so we're aware. Walk this way has saved my life a number of times! I consider my dogs my babies...would you leave your children with just anyone? Most likely not! Walk this way treats my dogs as if they were their own. Traveling is a constant thing for my husband and I but it makes it very difficult when you have two VERY high maintenance dogs at home. Walk This Way takes all the stress and anxiety away! They treat my dogs exactly as I do. They tend to their every need such as a special diet, daily medication, and cleaning their face wrinkles. Even when my flight is running late, I forgot to pick up their medication, or my travel plans have been extended they step in and cover seamlessly. They've been so great. Savannah is great with my two dogs - they're older and quirky and not always easy to deal with...but they love their walks with her. In a new city away from family and dog sitters, I needed someone trust worthy to come and let out my pup while my boyfriend and I both had a 12 hour days at work. A quick search on my favorite app lead me to Walk this way dogs - with an impressive 5 star rating. Tom was easy to get in touch with and set up a meet & great so he could meet my dog. Not only was tom professional and friendly, he came across as very trust worthy. It was an instant match, and I have used tom a few times to let out my pup. He always sends an update with his activity and his prices are more than fair. A huge plus is that he's very flexible and has even helped me out on short notice. Savannah and Tom are amazing. I moved to Tacoma a year ago and went through a few other sitters before finding them. I'm so glad I didn't give up hope. The careful attention they pay to both of our girls is a gift for a protective dog momma like me. They have gone out of their way to help us out a number of times, even coming over to spend time with our older dog when we thought she might not make it through a difficult health scare. While I wish we could be with our pets all the time, if we can't be with them all the time, it feels so good to know that they are in Tom and Savannah's care. Tom & Savannah from WTW dogs are simply THE BEST! We adopted our precious Stella two years ago and have been happy customers since then. My husband and I both work during the day so Stella gets daily 30 minute walks. In addition, we are not from the area and we travel home a lot to see family. I can't say enough about how much it means to leave our pup in the care of others worry-free. Stella gets so much love and incredible care from true "dog people." This review is long overdue. Savannah and Tom are the absolute best! I met Savannah when I was walking my pup in North Tacoma. She was so friendly and sweet towards our dog and had such an upbeat personality. I had never really thought about a dog walker but she was so great we thought, why not? Setting up services was really easy and Tom and Savannah are beyond flexible with their schedules. My husband and I are both in the consulting field so often we have schedule changes or last minute cancellations due to deciding to work from home. They are always so understanding and really work around our schedule which we are beyond appreciative of. Our basset pup cannot get enough of Savannah and Tom and neither can we! read more

Savannah and her team are absolutely terrific. We moved to Tacoma last year and after extensively researching which company to go with, we decided on Walk This Way Dogs. Their team has been providing regular pop-in visits throughout the year and have always been very helpful with accommodating our crazy schedules. Recently, we returned from a vacation which we used their overnight pet-sitting services for the first time. We're always a little concerned about leaving our group, as two of our dogs are over 15 years old, but I cannot overstate what a terrific job Antonio (our assigned pet-sitter) did while we were away. Not only did we receive several updates and pictures throughout the day, the dogs went on daily walks, he played with them in the backyard whenever he was at the house, gave them wonderful care and attention at night, and the house was immaculate when we returned. We recently moved to Tacoma from CO and had to find a new at home dog sitter. Our dogs have never been boarded and we were very nervous about finding a new dog sitter since the one we used in Colorado was amazing. We interviewed several companies and read all the reviews. Tom was responsive to our texts and even came out last minute to walk the girls when I had to go out of town for a business meeting and my husband sprained his knee the day before I left so wouldn't be able to walk them. We used them several times since. The girls love it when they see Tom which is good to see because my lab mutt is nervous around new men. They send us pictures and "pup-dates" with photos which is great because we worry about them so much so its good to see they are happy:) We live on a sailboat in a marina so all the neighbors know the girls and had very good things to say about Tom when we came back from our last trip. If you are looking for a dog sitter/ dog walker in Tacoma, WA we would recommend them and I am sure Pennylane (cocker spaniel 10 years) and Edisto (Lab Mutt 13 years) would too! read more

I had a really strange set of interactions with Tom and Savannah. The good part was that they showed up when they said they would and we almost always got photos. The bad came in two ways. The first was when I hadn't heard from them while traveling. I called to make sure they had gotten in ok. While I was talking with Tom I heard Savannah yelling, "I already left her a message!" Well, I didn't get one yet, but after she yelled twice I had to tell Tom that I could hear her yelling. The second time (and the reason we stopped using them) was that we had asked them to walk the dogs one day, but the night before our heater broke and we realized my husband would be home all day. I left a message that evening. The next day, Tom told me that they would still charge me. This is different from other places {Rover, Zoo Crew, etc) but I accepted it. I told him he didn't need to come. Instead, while I was teaching, I got many text messages saying they were trying to get in and couldn't find the key! I had to wait until break to find out just what the heck happened. It was a tense conversation. So, I contemplated not writing a review because I'd rather leave good ones, but we didn't have a good experience. read more

I personally appreciate that there is a portal that sends me updates while a work on how their walks go and allow me to communicate outside of texting. We have used Walk This Way Dogs for the last 7 months since one of our dogs was thrown out of doggie day care for bad behavior. This is the best company. They were wonderful with my two collies and frequently sent pictures of their walks. I received daily updates on where they walked and whether the dogs had done their business. They went above and beyond on taking care of the dogs to the point that a couple of times one of my dogs was sick and they called me, let me know, and cleaned it up as well as they could. The dogs were always happy to see them. There were a few times I was stuck out of town and had to ask for an emergency dog walk. They were always available and were gracious about last minute requests. I'm moving to Seattle and would be far happier if I could pack them up and take them with me. They are great. Savannah took care of our dog Tyke while we were away for the weekend. In addition to taking excellent care of the dog, she kept us well informed and was very flexible. Due to separation anxiety, Tyke was having lots of tummy trouble. Savannah definitely went the extra mile by giving us more updates, and spending extra time with tyke to make him more comfortable.
