Took my boy to Pacwestk9 for puppy class recently. The communication leading up to the start date was very prompt and professional. I had been in contact with them since before I even brought him home at 8 weeks just to ensure he'd be slotted for puppy class when he was old enough. The training methods were different from previous puppy classes at other facilities that I've done with my older dogs. I feel like Pacwest focused on engagement and the puppy gaining confidence, and in the process the basic commands were proofed. We completed puppy class and I couldn't be happier with what I've learned from Gina in how to communicate with my pup. Hope to continue on and move forward with basic obedience when life is back to normal. Thank you Gina and Irish for all of your hard work and dedication to these dogs. I can't wait to see how far Rocco and I will go with your continued support.

Yes! Pacwest K9 is my light at the end of the long dark tunnel. We had such a difficult time handling our Turkish Kangal. Gina worked her magic on my dog Tow Truck and he is like a new dog with manners now and amazing impulse control. We did the 30 day boarding and training. This was Boot Camp for our dog and it worked! Don't give up on your dog and if you have a pup that needs training, I super highly recommend this company. I would give 10 stars if it was an option. Thanks Gina, Irish and Isaiah!

Gina and her staff are amazing. Gina knows dogs and how to train owners and dogs to work to their full potential. If you are willing to invest the time into training this is the place. Our working girl is learning so much!!

My dog Lettie is from the shelter but wasn't adoptable. Before I took her home I was told by the shelter "this dog won't be capable of love". That was BS. Gina observed Lettie and sort of translated her behavior to me. Gina was straightforward about what my dog needed from me to be a confident, happy survivor. Lettie started out as fearful and very disruptive outside of the house (couldn't take her anywhere!) but now she will calmly walk or sit by my side in public anywhere we go. And she loves the dog park! Lettie is so much more confident and she has always been a lover with a big heart and strong intuition. Thank you so much Gina at PAC West K9.

Gina challenges the dogs at every class. Kuma is in a down in the center of the circle while the other dogs heel/sit/train around him.

We started working with Gina when our Border Collie rescue was 6 months old after a friend recommended her. My pup, Kuma, was starting to show signs of leash aggression and I wanted to get that under control right away. Gina worked with me through private lessons until she felt he was ready for Pup Fit and he's been going weekly ever since. We also attend her every other week Saturday group sessions, did a two week intensive boarding/training and she even worked with me to teach Kuma how to swim safely. Although she specializes in certain breeds, like German Shepards and Malinois, any breed of dog would benefit from training with Gina or attending her classes. Kuma has come so far since he started training at PacwestK9 and I've learned so much about how to be a better owner and handler thanks to Gina!

I couldn't leave him in the house alone while at work because he would (literally) make himself sick with worry. Connie welcomed us as new clients and, as she is a generous, wonderful person, we became fast friends. She has steadily been there for me and my Hubie over the years. Weekdays, weekends, overnights, in a pinch at times with little notice... sending me cute pictures throughout the day of my boy, feeding him, giving him medicine when needed, taking him to the groomer, going on little walking adventures, giving him a little brush 'n fluff from time to time... I even moved back east and she still couldn't get rid of me! When I come back to Olympia periodically for my current job, I bring Hubie simply because I know he misses her. My dogs are usually with me all the time and I am very hesitant to leave them anywhere without giving two hours worth of instructions. Yes, I'm THAT kind of pet parent. Anyways, I stopped by to check out Linn's place before I took my dogs there and it seemed like a great place and all the dogs seemed happy to be there. She showed me around all the areas that the dogs would be in and I liked that it was very much a home environment, instead of doggie daycares that seem very sterile and not like home. It really is like a little dog adventure land that they can explore the many yards and decks and different areas. After the first night I left my dogs there, I ended up staying longer than expected and having my dogs stay there on five different occasions, one that lasted 4 nights. Each time I felt more and more comfortable and really left my dogs knowing they were in good hands and when I dropped them off and picked them up they were happy -- not scared, anxious or hesitant at all. This is something, especially for my newest dog we rescued from an abusive home just four months ago and he is very timid around most people and new environments. There are also cameras you can check on your pets on, although I never downloaded the app or website. That's how comfortable I was, I didn't feel I needed to check on them. Although I appreciated the picture and video updates that Linn sent me! The price is quite reasonable, but don't forget to leave a little extra if you really appreciate the care your pets have gotten, because she works really hard for the little she charges. Especially with my dogs, I know they're a handful! She is also willing to work with you on pickup and drop-off times and she ensures you are the only person dropping off so it is easy for all involved. The extra gates also give peace of mind your dogs won't escape on accident or if they're looking for an adventure, as mine oftentimes do. Linn really has thought of everything here, and my dogs enjoy staying overnight and playing with all of the other dogs who come here. I just wish I could find a place like this in California, but I'll be back next time I'm in town and know that I can leave my dogs safely while I'm away.

We had a deeply upsetting experience with Wet Nose and feel compelled to share our story so others…read morecan make informed decisions. We adopted our dog after being told she was completely healthy with no medical concerns. Within 24 hours of bringing her home, she became critically ill and required three days of emergency hospitalization for severe infection, dehydration, and significant weight loss. We spent nearly $4,000 in vet bills to save her life. After requesting her medical records (which were only given to us AFTER we adopted her), we learned she had undergone major abdominal surgery just days before adoption, including treatment for a ruptured spleen and torn ligaments. She was prescribed medications that were never provided to us (or even disclosed to us) and her discharge paperwork clearly required 10 days of strict bed rest -- yet we adopted her on day five. She had been transported from Texas through Saving Hope Animal Rescue, and it is unacceptable that a dog recovering from major surgery was transported and placed for adoption without full medical disclosure or proper follow-up care. When we contacted Wet Nose for accountability and assistance with medical bills, they refused to help and claimed they were unaware of her medical history. Any responsible rescue should obtain complete medical records and ensure a dog is medically cleared before adoption. I even contacted local shelters asking if this was standard practice, and they were completely shocked at how this situation was handled. I know we are not the only story of this happening. Please do your research on this shelter, there are hundreds of Instagram, Facebook and reddit stories sharing similar experiences. Sharing my story isn't "online slander," it's transparency and holding people accountable. I love my dog so much and am glad she's on the mend, but this situation is completely unacceptable. Wet Nose clearly prioritized profit over animal safety.
