I have 2 Cane Corso's. One is trained in protection work and is with me almost everywhere I go on the daily. My other Corso was adopted from an abusive situation and has trust issues. NO WAY am I willing to leave these dogs in the care of a sitter or a family member as this would not be responsible not only to my dogs, but to the public as well. I first heard about Country Kennels from my trainer and later from a K9 handler from a local PD unit. I was THRILLED to learn that they have "hands off" options in high secured, indoor/outdoor kennel spaces available for high drive and working dogs that are not easily handled by strangers. For the first time in a few years, my husband and I were not only able to take a vacation, but we were able to go somewhere without having to load the dogs up and take them along. IT WAS SOOO NICE knowing Country Kennels was there to keep our animals safe and contained while we were away! This was about 3 years ago now and we have used them several times over the past few years with NO issues! Booking is super simple and prices are straightforward. You have options of kenneling your pets together in one run or putting them in separate runs, and they even have indoor spaces for the little ones, offering a hands on, more attentive approach. I'm able to load up my dogs diet, any medications, blankets or bedding, toys and snacks and drop them off at any desired time within operating hours. I always know my dogs are safe and well cared for with Country Kennels and suggest this business to ALL my working dog friends!

We have video monitors in our home and we watch their visits sometimes. They talk to the cats and brush them and generally treat our pets as we would treat them ourselves. We usually pay them in advance using Zelle although they have other payment arrangements. They refill the water fountain and the automatic cat feeder and cleaned the litter box before we bought a Litter Robot. They are familiar with this machine and know how to change the catch bag in the tray. One of our cats requires a medication and they take care of that as well. We used to live less than 1/4 mile from their home but in April 2023, we moved to Des Moines, WA. That was still within their coverage area so they continue to help us. Very satisfied.

I was advised they were out of town and it would have to be another day. I had neglected to re-communicate anything for a couple of years..my mistake. I did reach out today March 17th 2024..asking to pick up my house key and was advised it was discarded..after 5 years they apparently, (what I can assume because of no future reservations) discarded keys and just threw it away. I had no call to advise this was happening or email to let me know. I do not really think this is the best way to do business even with someone who only used your service once. Please rethink your practices..especially when you have a key to someone's residence. Thank you

After our local training place closed we were looking for other options and committed to positive reinforcement training. Unfortunately a lot of trainers use aversives, especially with large strong dogs. We were so excited to find Julia, and after our meet & greet we were confident she was a good choice. Julia did a 2 week board & train with our dog while we were traveling, mainly focusing on leash skills and practicing calm behavior around exciting things. We noticed an immediate improvement, but have also been continuing to work on the training at home after our follow up. I'm happy to report that we are continuing to see improvement using Julia's methods.

Linn owns two places side by side. The dogs have a dog run in the center of the house. They can spend all day running back and forth between the houses. This is a very secure area. Your dog(s) spend the night uncaged in the house. They find their own spot to rest. Linn is alway there looking after the pets. Her prices are very reasonable compared to other places. I was very impressed on my first visit. Everything is so clean and well maintained. If you don't believe me, call her up and set up an appointment to visit her place. She has the credentials to back her experience. She is a member of: PSI Certified Professional Pet Sitter and a Member of the National Association of Pet Sitters. She is certified in Animal First Aid & CPR. She is also Bonded & Insuried. When you go to other places, ask about their credentials and experience, they can't compare to the "Personal & Pet Concierce". No, I don't get free boarding for my comments! My dogs are usually with me all the time and I am very hesitant to leave them anywhere without giving two hours worth of instructions. Yes, I'm THAT kind of pet parent. Anyways, I stopped by to check out Linn's place before I took my dogs there and it seemed like a great place and all the dogs seemed happy to be there. She showed me around all the areas that the dogs would be in and I liked that it was very much a home environment, instead of doggie daycares that seem very sterile and not like home. It really is like a little dog adventure land that they can explore the many yards and decks and different areas. After the first night I left my dogs there, I ended up staying longer than expected and having my dogs stay there on five different occasions, one that lasted 4 nights. Each time I felt more and more comfortable and really left my dogs knowing they were in good hands and when I dropped them off and picked them up they were happy -- not scared, anxious or hesitant at all. This is something, especially for my newest dog we rescued from an abusive home just four months ago and he is very timid around most people and new environments. There are also cameras you can check on your pets on, although I never downloaded the app or website. That's how comfortable I was, I didn't feel I needed to check on them. Although I appreciated the picture and video updates that Linn sent me! The price is quite reasonable, but don't forget to leave a little extra if you really appreciate the care your pets have gotten, because she works really hard for the little she charges. Especially with my dogs, I know they're a handful! She is also willing to work with you on pickup and drop-off times and she ensures you are the only person dropping off so it is easy for all involved. The extra gates also give peace of mind your dogs won't escape on accident or if they're looking for an adventure, as mine oftentimes do. Linn really has thought of everything here, and my dogs enjoy staying overnight and playing with all of the other dogs who come here. I just wish I could find a place like this in California, but I'll be back next time I'm in town and know that I can leave my dogs safely while I'm away.

His stays went well and some of the time we could even observe him at play on video cameras (when they were working) . He was there for 2 weeks last on his last visit. We got a great report on our dog when we picked him up and we never saw any issues when we watched him on their cameras. We put in for a reservation for this Dec for an 8 day stay. The cost of the stay is $55 per day - $440 plus we also have him groomed on pick-up day. Now I'm being told that in order for him to stay in Dec he must come in to attend "a few days" of daycare again. We live in Olympia and having to drive to Tacoma a "few" (undefined quantity) days is very inconvenient and would cost us $44 per visit! This is supposedly to "protect my dog" but it is really? Why can't we simply drop him off for a few hours if they need to "observe" him with other dogs again? Besides, the chances are the dogs he interacts with during a play date won't be the same dogs that are there when he boards in 6 weeks. Although we had good experiences in past stays, it is unreasonable to charge for multiple visits just to observe our dog who has never given them any trouble in the past.
