Shopped here twice while I was in the Bend area. Amazing selection of dog food, everything looked to be in stock, great high quality accessories, high quality treats and great service from the staff. I was having trouble finding my dogs food and called them, they said they would sit a bag out for me so when I came in it was ready! Just updating my other review :) 6/20/2022: MudBay is our most favorite place in Bend! Our pup Annie loves going and she looks forward to it weekly. You can tell the staff really loves animals and their jobs. Sincerely the best, kindest, most knowledgeable folks. Everyone there is absolutely wonderful especially Heather, Wendy, Starr, Krista and Nick. Thank you again for just being the best and always being so kind to Annie. The staff is wonderful . They were able to special order the food that my Mishka craves . They had the food but in cans but I wanted the terra packs and we got them by the case within 3 days . They carry Ruff Wear and also top notch food and supplements . In Bend Mud Bay is my go to ! read more

I've been in twice. Once last month and once this month. During this pandemic, you wash your hands at a station before entering their doors. All staff is wearing a mask and keeping their distance. I feel very comfortable coming into their store to shop for my kitty while I'm in staying here during this pandemic. The store is big and had everything I needed. The staff is friendly. Nasty Manger a real Bitch We made the mistake of going to the New Mud Bay today My wife has the Mud Bay bulk trees bucket with her She asked where the small dog treets where The Nasty Manger told her she the manger has rearranged the treets and would no longer have them My wife then asked how a small dog with a small mouth could eat the larger treats Nasty said we don't get many small dogs in here Okay We then drive to the Older Mud Bay store and where treated like old friends That Mud Bay has the smaller bulk treets We filled up the Mud Bay bucket and bought other treets Pease don't shop at the NEW MUD BAY off of Hwy 97 Thank You read more

I went in to try to find a couple things to get my senior dog to eat. When the employee came over she asked me what I was looking for an I explained the situation, my dog didn't have much time left and I was just trying to get him to eat anything. She was super sweet about me, helping me find things to try and gave me a banana frozen treat to try. It was the last thing I could get him to eat before he passed away. We started dropping by here a couple months ago. Our service dog Maggie is in LOVE with their snacks She's sadly preparing for Rainbow Bridge She can have anything her little heart desires. We're heading over there today after talking to a really nice young man. To get a reusable diaper. As long as she's enjoying life we're here for her. She's taken care of us all these years patiently, now we'll love her back patiently. So thankful for the kindness of Mud Bay! WHY? Why do their lives have to be so short? Anyway, all of you who want healthy treats for your best friends, your family Mud Bay has THE BEST! Update 8-29-20 It's taken three weeks to update. Maggie crossed Rainbow Bridge and we are still heartbroken. She was a Service Dog to both of us, but even more a beloved family member. She slept with us and fought hard to stay, so she could watch over us. She kept tabs on where each of us were, so we are missing that adorable chocolate Old English face peeking around a corner, then snuggling our feet until we went with her! Think of her every time we see your store. She ate as many of her favs from there as she wanted. The rest was donated to Bright Side. Thanks to every kind dog lover who worked at your establishment We don't know what's in your treats, (or NOT IN THEM!) but wow! Maggie loved them the most We may volunteer with animals but we can't do it again. Too old and too many holes from rescuing and falling in love ~ losing them far to soon. Then our first puppy to 11 years old. Now we'll volunteer. We just want to thank the best Pet store in town. Make those treats in bulk. And let us know how many treats we can give a day. Near Maggie's end it didn't matter. If she wasn't dying, we would want a guide on the package by our pets body weight. Thanks everyone read more

Super nice people and beautiful new building. Nice to have a Mud Bay closet to the house as the one between Colorado and Arizona is sometimes hard to find parking. Wide array of quality products to be found and staff are very helpful. They have there own branded stuff as well like salmon oil that is just as good as more expensive brands. read more

I have visited the store in Concordia, Portland Oregon about three times and every time I have felt not welcomed. As I person of color who does not know a lot about dogs, I felt the staff was not very friendly to address my needs. I recently got a puppy and this store is very close to me with good products, but I am hesitant to go again. read more

I was blown away by this place and the staff! They were all so nice and so welcoming. My super shy dog even liked the place and everyone in there (except for the tall blonde-ish guy there... we'll work on that) I went in to see what they had, since we will be moving to the Bend area soon, I wanted to find somewhere that carries my dog and cats food. Unfortunately they didn't carry any of the stuff I normally give them, and they only do special orders for brands/products they already carry. But the girl Ashley assured me someday hopefully soon they will be carrying the brand of raw food I give them! I sure hope so, it's a good brand and I would be more than willing to support this store by buying it here. They have all kinds of fun stuff in this store, every time I turned around I'd see something else. They also have a scale to weigh your dog! That was really cool. Found out my dog gained some weight back that he'd lost, finally! They have a wide variety of pamphlets and info sheets for different conditions and stuff to read about your dog and cat. For how big the store was and how knowledgable they all seemed to be, I would have REALLY liked to see a much bigger raw food section, honestly. Maybe that will also come later. They had the popular raw brands that most people know nowadays, but I'd definitely love to see more variety. Really clean and well organized store, great employees. Will definitely give them my business when we move here! Also when we checked out, there was a little envelope with a handwritten letter thanking us for coming in, and a 5$ coupon! I had tried a fun rain jacket on my dog when we were there... I'm gonna have to use it on buying that, for sure. 5 out of 5 stars for sure. Me and Shadow will be back!! read more
