    Corn ribs

I had been meaning to try this place for a while, and the setting is definitely unique. Being in a repurposed train station gives it a really interesting backdrop for dining. We started with the queso and chips, but it would have been much better if the queso had been served hot. The corn ribs were a highlight and something I would order again. I had the taco salad for my main, which was fine overall, though the steak was also served cold. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back, especially with the open windows and doors, which makes it a great place to hang out. I just wish the food had been served warm to match the vibe.

The lighting, merch, and building are beautiful. As a designer I appreciate the choices that were made. But I'm here to talk about the food, the parking lot that only opens on one side and the staff. The staff members were warm and inviting. I ordered to go with ease and the food came out in good time. When I opened the burrito I realized why the menu stressed it was over 1 pound. When I read this on the menu I thought it would be big and filling. Incorrect, it was small with no salsa or dips and I didn't care for the added French fries inside. Onto the burger which was sizable but did not come with a side for $16. My comment would be add a side. I also ordered chips and queso. Everything was ok tasting I really enjoyed the tortilla chips. I don't think I'll be back. The drinks did sound interesting though so maybe I will order chips and drink after eating somewhere else.

Muchachos has hipster taco shop vibes with great cocktails and an incredibly attentive, friendly staff. It was my first time visiting, so I told them and asked how everything worked, and they made it super easy. Ordering is flexible. You can order at the front counter, or you can snag a table since it's open seating. Once you sit down, a server will find you, give you a number, and take care of you for the rest of your visit. I ended up getting a booth thanks to a very friendly manager who helped me out. For drinks, I had a few cocktails, and my favorite was the Sage Against the Machine, a gin-based cocktail that tasted so fresh and delicious. I also had some Prosecco and an appetizer, the Dip Trio, which comes with guacamole, salsa, and queso. All three were amazing, and it was so good I honestly forgot to take a picture. Overall, I would definitely go back, especially to try more of their entrées and tacos because they have a wide variety available.

I got to say that their grilled corn ribs were AMAZING. It was flavorful, came out nice and hot, and needed to have more on the plate for what it's worth ($6). I'd get that again as an appetizer. We tried 3 of their tacos and tried the corn shell (don't do it, bad idea). The corn shell was thick and dry. We got al pastor, Muchacho style, and pork belly tacos. I think the tacos were okay to be honest, kinda boring. The blue matcha ($5) is not good as a latte. The flavor is bland, it's really for the aesthetic. The pea flower powder turns it blue with a hint of lemon. The iced chai was a bit watery. I'd honestly give muchacho an updated 4 out of 5 stars (the corn ribs really boosted it from a 3/5). Free street parking if you can find any but there's a parking deck nearby.

The place has an amazing patio right off the beltline. I stopped by on a weekday afternoon they also have a pretty good happy hour with drink and food specials. We tried the Baja fish Taco, the pork belly taco, the mahi burrito. Everything was cooked to perfection with good portion sizes. The trio with the salsa queso and guacamole was pretty good too. The salsa could be more balanced in its flavor was over smoked. Will definitely swing back to try the drinks and chill on the patio. Of note it's counter service so order at the counter and come back to your table to get the food delivered.

My meal was great! I love that they serve breakfast all day! And such a cute outdoor seating area that's pet friendly.

This is such a nice spot off the beltline! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, we really enjoyed sitting on the patio on a nice day. Dogs are also allowed. Food is delicious and they serve brunch. The drinks were also very good. The service was great, we have a few people check on us and all were amazing. Maya and Jalen were great! I will definitely be back.

Muchacho is a nice spot for a causal lunch or happy hour. The trendy industrial style interior adds to the casual atmosphere. We ordered at the counter: a harvest bowl, and 2 tacos (fish and shrimp). The weather was nice so we sat outside and posted up at a table and pulled out our laptops. Our food came out quickly. I was given two shrimp tacos instead of one fish and one shrimp. The server was great and brought out a fish taco without a fuss. I really appreciate good customer service so I was happy that she made it right.

I recently came back to Muchacho's after a long hiatus, and it didn't disappoint! There was some new staff that I encountered that were as sweet and welcoming as the ones that I had come to know, and one of them stuffed red that I should try their new item since the last time I've been there: Birria Verde Quesadilla. This has to be one of the best birria dishes I've ever had! The meat was so juicy, tender, and well seasoned. I was also happy that they provide a generous amount of meat. The consomé was the true star of the dish! The amount of flavor in it truly took me by surprise in the best way since it packed a punch, and the bits of meat within was super tender and soaked it all up. I honestly could just eat that as a soup alone! I highly recommend ordering this dish when you visit!

Muchacho held an event for 404 Day and had music, a tequila tasting, and their typical menu. The food was tasty and I really loved my cocktail with mezcal in it. The place is very vibey and spacious. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. I think it's a great spot to hangout with friends and grab some food and drinks. They also have a parking lot out front which is super nice because parking in this area can be really difficult.

Im always happy to come to Muchacho honestly. The food is tasty and consistent. The people are always quick and friendly. Ive come here to work from home before and it was great energy and atmosphere to do so. They have coffee, breakfast tacos, lunch and drinks. Needless to say, I was there for a while but I made sure to make a good tab and tip. Disliked - Disliked - Disliked - Disliked - Disliked Corn Tortilla: Way too thick I've tried a couple times and I think took away from the ingredients of my taco because I focused a little to much on the texture/volume of the tortilla.

A quick summation -- just go and visit Vibrant indoor and outdoor patio. Casual with something for everyone. I enjoyed the new menu item Ray Mysterio - packed with flavor on a beautiful sunny ATL bluebird kinda day !! The service was friendly and helpful!

Muchacho is such a fun, vibrant spot and perfect for a laid back brunch, casual lunch, or just grabbing coffee and soaking up the sunshine. The aesthetic is very west coast meets retro cool with bold colors. Its a walk up counter service to order and everyone was very helpful and friendly. There can be a line though. Everything was delicious, I got the blueberry matcha latte which was perfectly balanced and subtly sweet. I also can recommend the breakfast tacos (chilaquiles!), breakfast burritos (The Gonz) and the breakfast skillet! Overall a great experience!

Fun atmosphere, but pricey ($80 for two drinks and 4 tacos), and can be loud/ crowded.

Worst Mexican I've ever had, salsa is too spicy, my drink tasted like gasolina, and it was $80 for a small amount of food.

    Do they have bike parking?

Indeed they do - there are bike racks outside of the restaurant.

    How's the parking?

There's ample space in the parking lot.

Do people come to study and work here or is the environment not great for that?

I would say the environment is OK to do some work. But I wouldn't come to study. Maybe too noisy. But it could just depends on what time of day you come.

    Do you have gift cards?

Hello! We do! You can purchase gift cards in our store or online here:…

Do they not have their avocado toast anymore? It was the main reason I'd go there over other coffeeshops. Thanks

Yes they do still have the avocado toast and it's still delicious! 😋

Do you have gluten free options?

Hi! We have several gluten free options. Our corn tortillas for our tacos are entirely gluten free. Please ask your server to guide you through the menu on your next visit.

Do you have vegan cream cheese?

Real Tacos was a great late-night stop and definitely lived up to the hype. We both ordered the $10…read moretaco meal (with a small $2 upcharge for some premium meats), and the value was excellent. I had the chicken and beef birria tacos with consommé, cilantro rice, and black beans. My partner went with the steak and al pastor tacos, Mexican rice, and refried beans. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, they definitely don't skimp on the fillings. The margarita flight was also a fun choice and a great way to try different flavors. We noticed they also serve huge shareable cocktails and oversized shots that looked like a blast for groups. The atmosphere is lively, especially later in the evening, with a younger crowd and a fun, energetic vibe that makes it a great spot to hang out with friends. The only thing that rubbed us the wrong way happened right after we were seated. Chips and queso were brought to the table, and we naturally assumed they were complimentary, similar to chips or bread at many other restaurants. After we had already started eating them, our server came back and took them away because they weren't included. Our waitress was otherwise friendly and provided good service, but that initial interaction felt a little awkward. A quick heads-up when placing them on the table would have avoided the confusion entirely. Overall, the food, drinks, portions, and atmosphere were excellent, and that small misunderstanding wasn't enough to take away from an otherwise fantastic experience. We'd definitely come back the next time we're craving tacos and margaritas.

Halal tacos in a small store in a gas station - how can you get more authentic than that?…read more The meats served here are all halal, which is great! I got the beef Birria, steak Birria, and barbacoa tacos. The consommé itself was a little watery and tomato-y, but the tacos themselves were of decent quality and flavor. The beef Birria was better IMO than the steak, which was a little chewier. The barbacoa was definitely hands down my favorite - out of them it was the most flavorful and tender. The salsas they gave on the side were good too - spicy, tangy. The seating in the store is very limited (only a few tables, not well spaced out), large groups would be hard to accommodate.

I think I saved this spot due to some friends recommending it. Pretty decent food for a gas station…read morespot. The hubs choose x3 shrimp birria tacos while I had the beef birria quesadilla. I believe the meats here are halal. The crust of both the taco and quesadilla were crispy and had a nice cheese crunch. But trying other birria spots, these were okay. Good but nothing that would wow. The consome dip was actually pretty watered down. I know places make them differently as I've had versions with meat bits in them and another with rice. But their version was just watered down. The shrimp ratio was pretty sad. The beef is actually more bang for your buck. Though I didn't truly count the shrimps, there were about 3 or 4 of those baby shrimps. They didn't look nor tasted like they were doused in flavor. The shrimp was just so so. Sort of bland in taste imo. The beef had a nice kick of flavor. There was a good amount of beef to my surprise. Another friend's beef taco version looked like it was stuffed with meat as well. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.
