Muchacho is such a great spot along the Atlanta BeltLine! I ordered the bacon, egg, cheese, and potato breakfast burrito, and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The burrito was filling without feeling too heavy, and every bite was delicious. I also tried the Peach State Grind made with Altos Reposado, Amaretto, Peach Liqueur, Egg White and Lemon, which was refreshing and paired perfectly with my tacos. On top of the great food, the outdoor seating is fantastic. It's the perfect place to relax, enjoy the BeltLine atmosphere, and have a leisurely breakfast. If you're looking for a delicious breakfast with a great patio and a laid-back vibe, Muchacho is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu!
One of the best patios in Atlanta, right on the Beltline in Reynoldstown. I could sit out here for hours! The food is good. The margs are delicious! It's a bit pricey and there can be a decent wait when it's busy, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
My favorite thing about muchacho is the vibe! The place is full of small touches that come together wonderfully from the music, decorations, and graphics. The Birria quesadilla was also delicious and way better than I was expecting. I went later in the evening but the service was fast and friendly. Overall great spot!
I had been meaning to try this place for a while, and the setting is definitely unique. Being in a repurposed train station gives it a really interesting backdrop for dining. We started with the queso and chips, but it would have been much better if the queso had been served hot. The corn ribs were a highlight and something I would order again. I had the taco salad for my main, which was fine overall, though the steak was also served cold. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back, especially with the open windows and doors, which makes it a great place to hang out. I just wish the food had been served warm to match the vibe.
The lighting, merch, and building are beautiful. As a designer I appreciate the choices that were made. But I'm here to talk about the food, the parking lot that only opens on one side and the staff. The staff members were warm and inviting. I ordered to go with ease and the food came out in good time. When I opened the burrito I realized why the menu stressed it was over 1 pound. When I read this on the menu I thought it would be big and filling. Incorrect, it was small with no salsa or dips and I didn't care for the added French fries inside. Onto the burger which was sizable but did not come with a side for $16. My comment would be add a side. I also ordered chips and queso. Everything was ok tasting I really enjoyed the tortilla chips. I don't think I'll be back. The drinks did sound interesting though so maybe I will order chips and drink after eating somewhere else.
Muchachos has hipster taco shop vibes with great cocktails and an incredibly attentive, friendly staff. It was my first time visiting, so I told them and asked how everything worked, and they made it super easy. Ordering is flexible. You can order at the front counter, or you can snag a table since it's open seating. Once you sit down, a server will find you, give you a number, and take care of you for the rest of your visit. I ended up getting a booth thanks to a very friendly manager who helped me out. For drinks, I had a few cocktails, and my favorite was the Sage Against the Machine, a gin-based cocktail that tasted so fresh and delicious. I also had some Prosecco and an appetizer, the Dip Trio, which comes with guacamole, salsa, and queso. All three were amazing, and it was so good I honestly forgot to take a picture. Overall, I would definitely go back, especially to try more of their entrées and tacos because they have a wide variety available.
I got to say that their grilled corn ribs were AMAZING. It was flavorful, came out nice and hot, and needed to have more on the plate for what it's worth ($6). I'd get that again as an appetizer. We tried 3 of their tacos and tried the corn shell (don't do it, bad idea). The corn shell was thick and dry. We got al pastor, Muchacho style, and pork belly tacos. I think the tacos were okay to be honest, kinda boring. The blue matcha ($5) is not good as a latte. The flavor is bland, it's really for the aesthetic. The pea flower powder turns it blue with a hint of lemon. The iced chai was a bit watery. I'd honestly give muchacho an updated 4 out of 5 stars (the corn ribs really boosted it from a 3/5). Free street parking if you can find any but there's a parking deck nearby.
Im always happy to come to Muchacho honestly. The food is tasty and consistent. The people are always quick and friendly. Ive come here to work from home before and it was great energy and atmosphere to do so. They have coffee, breakfast tacos, lunch and drinks. Needless to say, I was there for a while but I made sure to make a good tab and tip. Disliked - Disliked - Disliked - Disliked - Disliked Corn Tortilla: Way too thick I've tried a couple times and I think took away from the ingredients of my taco because I focused a little to much on the texture/volume of the tortilla.
The place has an amazing patio right off the beltline. I stopped by on a weekday afternoon they also have a pretty good happy hour with drink and food specials. We tried the Baja fish Taco, the pork belly taco, the mahi burrito. Everything was cooked to perfection with good portion sizes. The trio with the salsa queso and guacamole was pretty good too. The salsa could be more balanced in its flavor was over smoked.Will definitely swing back to try the drinks and chill on the patio. Of note it's counter service so order at the counter and come back to your table to get the food delivered.

Muchacho is a nice spot for a causal lunch or happy hour. The trendy industrial style interior adds to the casual atmosphere. We ordered at the counter: a harvest bowl, and 2 tacos (fish and shrimp). The weather was nice so we sat outside and posted up at a table and pulled out our laptops. Our food came out quickly. I was given two shrimp tacos instead of one fish and one shrimp. The server was great and brought out a fish taco without a fuss. I really appreciate good customer service so I was happy that she made it right.
This is such a nice spot off the beltline! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, we really enjoyed sitting on the patio on a nice day. Dogs are also allowed. Food is delicious and they serve brunch. The drinks were also very good. The service was great, we have a few people check on us and all were amazing. Maya and Jalen were great! I will definitely be back.
I recently came back to Muchacho's after a long hiatus, and it didn't disappoint! There was some new staff that I encountered that were as sweet and welcoming as the ones that I had come to know, and one of them stuffed red that I should try their new item since the last time I've been there: Birria Verde Quesadilla. This has to be one of the best birria dishes I've ever had! The meat was so juicy, tender, and well seasoned. I was also happy that they provide a generous amount of meat. The consomé was the true star of the dish! The amount of flavor in it truly took me by surprise in the best way since it packed a punch, and the bits of meat within was super tender and soaked it all up. I honestly could just eat that as a soup alone! I highly recommend ordering this dish when you visit!

The aesthetic of muchacho reminded me of an urban outfitters, hip with lots of greenery. The overall design of the restaurant is beautiful and it's a perfect spot for casual hangouts. The place is self served for the most part after you order your food from the cashier. The place was packed on a Friday Night so finding an open table was kind of hard, especially if you have a party of 2+. I got the fiesta meal which comes with a tequila shot, Mexican beer, and burrito for $20 (which is impressive as the restaurant is located right off the beltline)! However, the burrito was kind of small and the salsa verde ($.50 extra) didn't have any flavor nor did it add anything to elevate the burrito. While the burrito was decent, I did feel like it was missing some type of heat which the salsa couldn't provide. Overall, I recommend trying the place as it is super cute and service was decent. The food will be decent but slightly overpriced unless you do the fiesta meal. read more

Where do I begin?!- food was horrible we ordered tacos Al pastor , carne asada tacos , fish tacos , chips and salsa & a couple drinks , tortillas came out cold , meat was not seasoned at all and I only got cilantro on my taco , no salsa , drinks were watered down. The mango agua Fresca was a whole bunch of mango syrup over ice. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food DO NOT COME HERE ! it's Mexican food for white people. Service was mediocre for a lack of better words , I asked for salsa for my tacos and the waitress said we don't do salsa refills !!! Ma'am I want salsa for my tacos since they are dry !!! she rolled her eyes and had an attitude. Tall white woman . The plants and high ceiling are a nice touch to the ambience but that's all the positive I've got say about this place. To end it all , very overpriced & a lack of quality. read more

Super fun restaurant in near Madison Yards right off the Beltline! We went for happy hour, but sadly there weren't any cocktails on the happy hour menu. However, we decided to get a margarita/ tequila drink. They both were really good and tasty. We got chips and queso which were perfectly salted. I really loved the ambiance and retro vibe of this place! Good prices for everything and fast service. Excited to go back and try the food as well! The patio is perfect for when the weather gets warmer. read more

The food was excellent, all of my group got the shrimp tacos and they were wonderful. The tacos were packed with flavor and I added the Mexican hot sauce that they offer but even without it they taste amazing. Someone in our group also ordered the chips and Queso, when asking the person how was assisting us to reheat the Queso she informed us they don't have microwaves what was glad to get us fresh dip. While we had someone specific helping us, everyone behind the bar checked on us and was glad to help if we needed something. All of the workers were polite and helpful, they also explained any confusion about the menu. The ambience was delightful. All of the decoration was inviting and joyful. The music was a complete vibe itself and they had disco ball and projector playing clips. All in all this is an amazing place. I will definitely be visiting again. I suggest you do too. read more

This restaurant is located off of the beltline and it's super cute. Upon entry you place your order, take a number and find a sit indoor/outdoor. I ordered the Barbacoa taco and the Carne Asada taco with fries. For drinks I ordered a Margarita and a Blue Matcha Latte. The Barbacoa taco was by far my favorite. The fries were pretty good and crispy. I will definitely be back to dine at this spot. Parking is available on site and it is free but can be difficult to get a parking spot at the restaurant bc it's pretty busy. Staff is pretty friendly and the food is bought out in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this spot. Great vibes and a few instagramable spots on sight. read more

It was alright. I had it on my list to check out bc of its patio. Which was cool. Gave a feeling of being somewhere else other than Atlanta. I thought we were standing in line waiting to be seated but ur actually waiting to take ur orders, pay and then seat yourself. I get the concept but if I would've known prior to that I would have looked at the menu before I got to the front of the line. Since I didn't, I felt rushed to order. I got 2 tacos, fish and chicken mole, chis and dip with salsa and a drink. With a 18% tip it came up to about 40 bucks or so. Seems pricey for one person at a Mexican restaurant. Didn't like the the chicken taco bc of the red sauce on it. The fish taco, chips and dip and the street elote were good. Not a fan of the many flies. read more

My daughter and I were looking for a place for breakfast in the Atlanta area and stumbled on this wonderful gem. At first I thought by looking at the menu I wanted to get a breakfast burrito but quickly change my mind when I saw the skillet. Atmosphere was very inviting, absolutely love the way they have it decorated on the inside and the outside gives me a feel of being somewhere tropical. Definitely will be back got the meat and potatoes and it was delicious. read more

Omg I love the vibes of this place. Everything looks nice and fun, there's an indoor and outdoor seating. The food is a bit pricey but I would definitely come again. Everything tasted good. You can also do your work and study here but it does get loud so just keep that in mind depending on your preference. read more

This is only my second time coming here; first was for late night drinks and people have been raving about their breakfast so I decided to give it a shot. I was nervous since the line to order was to the door. It's counter service, they give you a number and they will bring your food at your table. We probably waited no more than 10 minutes in line before we placed our order. We ordered drip coffee, reggae taco, migas taco and Johnny Utah burrito with the house salsa. Not even 5 minutes later, our food was brought to our table. I underestimated the size of these tacos since 2 tacos were plenty. Flavor was on point and both were very similar but I enjoyed migas taco the best. My husband loved his burrito - it's small but hefty and very filling. Muchacho is now one of my favorites in the city. Can't wait to come back here again! read more

Before I get started, I know I am a minority leaving this place a 2 star review, but anything higher feels wrong. Muchacho has been on my list to visit for several weeks now. I had a somewhat open workday afternoon and thought a change of scenery would be nice, so I came here for a visit. I was not alone as someone who was going to have lunch and work. I'd safely say 75% of the people there also had laptops open and a focused face. Location Great location right off the Beltline. I'm sure they get a good amount of foot traffic. There is not a lot of parking. If I had not found a spot, I'm unsure of where I would've parked. Maybe the shopping center across the street? It would be helpful for others if they had signs directing them to additional parking. Seating They have a great sized patio if you're interested in getting some fresh air while you dine/work. Inside, they have tables, booths and a long bar area. Kudos for the bar area having lots of charging outlets. Experience The place is cute and hipster. If you're looking for a place to sit for awhile and get work done or just grab some food, this is it. I don't like that you have to order prior to sitting down. You then have to hold your number, your utensils, your drink and the purse you came and find a table. Food I had the chips and queso, one chicken mole taco and one baja fish taco. I was hoping I could order my queso and eat on that before ordering my tacos, but that's not how this place is set up. By the time I was finished with my queso, my tacos were cold. The chicken mole taco had plenty of meat but honestly lacked flavor. Which shocked me. By the color of the chicken, I just knew it would be so tasty but it fell short. The baja fish taco...the fish was entirely too small. That taco was mainly slaw and that was the only thing I tasted. Service Disappointed. The person who took my order was nice but after that I really felt invisible. Being that I was still hungry after my small fish taco, I would've liked to order something else to fill me up but I was never asked if I was ok or wanted anything more. Also, I plated my empty dishes and moved them aside to show that I was done. It took at least 20 minutes for someone to take them away. They weren't all that busy and often a server would stand right in front of the dishes and just let them sit there. I finally left after they decided to open the big patio windows and side door knowing it's 65 degrees and super windy outside. My feet were so cold I knew it was time to go. read more
I love Muchacho right off the Beltline! I've sat and had lunch, sat from 10am-5pm for work and even gotten a post walk/run bite! Every time I've gone service was always so kind and quick. There's indoor seating as well as a very large patio (which I prefer). The times when I've gone for breakfast through dinner I was able to do work using the free wifi but when there's a lot more people working remote it can be slow so be weary. There are also outlets to charge your appliances! Now for the food, it's so so good from the daily Agua Fresca selection to the tacos and marg I would recommend it all. Overall a great experience with great surroundings and such unique decor and theming. read more

Delicious tacos in a great ambiance - doesn't get better than that! The tacos are a good size - get 3 if you're starving but 2 + a side was plenty for me. The Barbacoa taco was a tad greasy but still good. Watermelon salad was good! A 50 cent charge for "salsa" (it's more like hot sauce) was kind of ridiculous. Only get one to share between 2 people. Really cool spot! I enjoyed the interior and also appreciated that there was outdoor seating available - stayed inside though because it was so hot! Met a friend here for lunch last Sunday and it was really nice. I ordered the taco salad as well as chips & guacamole. The chips & guac serving was perfect for 2 and the taco salad was huge! I had never seen an actual taco inside a taco salad before, it was not only delicious but so funky and also aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely be back in the future! read more

Plenty of outdoor seating, plastic shields to cover employees, won't serve customers unless they are also wearing masks. Overall really cute, safe, solid place to get some coffee and even food! I ordered the blue matcha latte, and i personally think the looks were what I paid for over the taste. I couldn't really taste matcha, more just oat milky. We did wait for over 30 mins, and normally it would really bug me but they were really apologetic so in the end they refunded us our entire order and gave us all three of their cookies, which i think was the highlight of the visit. Their cookies are large, chewy, and moist! My personal fave was the oatmeal because of the texture. Next time i go I will probably opt to not get the blue matcha latte and stick with the OG matcha. read more

Love the food, drinks, and decor!!! I do not like waiting in line or having to go back to the line if I sit at tables and want more food or drinks. Do yourself a favor and sit at the beautiful bar, or order two drinks if you stand in line! If you sit at the bar, look up and observe all the plants above you. The bartenders are good but very busy, so be kind. I have eaten here many times and stood in line and sat at the bar. I prefer the bar so I can get food and drinks as I want them. They had great seasonal cocktails, my winter fav is the It's Giving, but I can only have one because of the strong flavors. The Paloma and margarita are my favorite standard drinks. The Cheesy Yuda is my favorite item on the menu!!!! It is huge and so delicious!!! It is a plate size crispy tortilla with cheese and salsa on it. I have them add guacamole, but you can also add queso and more/different salsa. Their queso is not your normal queso as it has a little seasoning in it. It stays on their house made thin crispy chips. A couple of times I had the taco salad. It was good, but not as filling so I added shrimp to it the next time and that was better. When I order it the second time I realized the first time I got it that it was missing sour cream and guacamole, so that is why it wasn't so impressive. read more
I came here on a Sunday night with a friend to eat some tacos. We ordered the street corn as an appetizer and it was really good. The one thing we didn't like is it was awkward to eat due to the hard part still on it. I had the vegetarian Rajas taco and it was good but nothing that special. I thought it was overpriced for the size. For drinks I had the Papa Soltero and it was strong! It was $10 but I thought it was worth it. My friend had the Finger Guns and it was very watered down. Unfortunately, when we went (7:30pm) they had already shut down the coffee machine so we weren't able to order any coffee beverages which was disappointing. They were also out of Bag of Fireworks cocktail and the worker told me they were out of all their frozen beverages. I didn't even know it was frozen but it sucks that they said no to a lot of stuff we wanted. And again they said they don't take cash, so I wasn't able to use that as a form of payment. It was okay, but unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations. I think it's too pricy for what it is. They have a parking lot you can park at but it's not huge so if it's full there's a parking deck you can park at and walk to the restaurant. I liked the location of it and that's it's right off of the Beltline. Outside is also pet friendly so be sure to bring your dogs! read more
Came in this past weekend for breakfast. We came around 9am on Sunday. We got there right before the rush it seemed! We only had to wait behind two parties in line to order, but the line built up quickly behind us. They have quite a bit of parking behind the space, but I'm sure it can get filled up quickly! They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. We ordered a few breakfast tacos, the ricotta jam toast and the golden latte. The tacos were quite tasty! My favorite was the BEC. The jam toast was also fabulous! Smothered in ricotta and jam on a thick slice of toast! The golden latte had lots of spices in it but I enjoyed it! We sat outside and it was so nice. Love this place! Would love to return around dinner time to try their other tacos and appetizers and cocktails! read more
This place, food and location is great! We dined for date night and had the best time! We ordered the fiesta pack: silver tequila shot, beer and burrito, chips and salsa for our app and I tried the mole chicken tacos. All were amazing! The only negative was the insanely small champagne portion. It's right off the belt line, has plenty outdoor seating (bring your pup) and had a live dj. Must check this place out!!! read more

Indeed they do - there are bike racks outside of the restaurant.
Do people come to study and work here or is the environment not great for that?
I would say the environment is OK to do some work. But I wouldn't come to study. Maybe too noisy. But it could just depends on what time of day you come.
