When I initially reached out, he asked me to take pictures of my things so he could estimate time and labor. I also created a spreadsheet, and shared a Google folder with images. His quote included everything listed, and was transparent, and the same price I paid at the end. When his crew arrived at my house in Michigan, and our house was in a state of disaster, they got us packed and moved in a matter of hours. Every single one of them was incredibly sweet, courteous, good-humored, and diligent. We packed most of the important/fragile/precious things, and they packed the big items and a bunch of random stuff we might have forgotten otherwise. Everything made it safe and sound, they parked in the area designated by my new apartment builder super, maneuvered the apartment like pros (cause they are!) and the entire move was made really simple and painless for us. Even when I was at my most stressed, Pat and his guys were the absolute best and bringing me down and just getting things done. I'd definitely recommend them. They were honest, hard working, and just a joy to work with, despite some challenging circumstances. Note: If you're moving long distance, they require a deposit in advance (to cover gas, lodging, materials, etc.) and don't accept credit card (or they didn't at the time I wrote this), so be sure to plan and get a bank check to him in advance. Pat's great at documentation and providing receipts, and will take care of you! He's also really good at communication (phone/text) despite his busy schedule.
