Came back for brunch and I'm so glad we did. Everything was delicious. We sat in the sky bar again. It was a beautiful day and weather for it. They had the Sunday football games on with $5 crushes! I ordered the Monte Cristo Waffle Sandwich. It was so tasty. I loved the berry compote that came with it. The Chesapeake omelet that my mom ordered was amazing. I can't remember our servers name but he was friendly and had great energy.

Mt. Washington Tavern has been a local favorite and staple in Baltimore since 1979, I'm so glad I finally got to check it out. I sat on the Skybar, which is a covered deck on the second level and enjoyed the breeze. I had amazing service from Jamar! He was insightful, helpful and checked on me frequently through dinner. It's lots of seating available on both first and second floor, even a room for events! The Chesapeake Rockfish is Parm-crusted and topped with jumbo lump crab, lemon beurre blanc sauce and is def a must try! I also really enjoyed the Tavern Wings and the Delmonico steak (though not cooked to my exact temp preference) it was still very tasty with their housemade steak sauce. For cocktails the Strawberry Rose Spritz was very light and refreshing, def recommend it.

A staple for the community. Great bar, fine restaurant and more. Happy Hour is 4-6 and one special a day. Wednesday is prime rib which is excellent. Fries are thin and perfectly golden. Nachos are huge(half order is plenty and on the happy hour menu) and come with a side of goopy cheese. I wasn't happy with the nachos. Drinks are either weak or strong. Not consistent. On the light rail. Nice walking path by the Jones Falls in front.

This place is fantastic! Character, charm, clean...old school vibe, newer feel. The building has at least three original walls...which gives it such a warm, cozy feel. Hostess was lovely. Waitress was great! I had the tuna poke bowl with cauliflower rice! So damn good! The menu is huge, lots of choices! Can't wait to go back! Such great people!!

We stopped here for a drink on the way to a concert. Such a cute place so close to Pimlico. The menu looks fantastic. We will definitely be back to enjoy the outside seating and try some things.

I've been to Mt. Washington Tavern a couple of times, most recently last week for a group dinner. The tavern is nice - cozy, comfortable, casual - and the service is very good. They have a broad variety of drinks (beer, wine, cocktails). I enjoyed their house dirty martini when I was there last week and found it to be a very good version. I think their food is just so-so. We shared several apps: Nachos Grande, Truffle Fries, Bavarian Pretzel Board, and chicken skewers. Definitely standard pub fare. The nachos were disappointment - lots of chips, not much in the way of toppings! Felt very dry and bland. It needed a lot more on it to make it work. It's not a bad place for a casual, pub-traditional meal, but I haven't really enjoyed their food on the occasions I've had it. It's in such a great spot, so I'm sure I'll be back - probably for drinks and a burger!

Atmosphere was great. The food was good. Outside of them being busy and it became hard to catch Kathy service was good. We actually stopped to catch happy hour before heading to the Os game. The menu stated the appetizers were mini appetizer but it was big portions. The drinks were really good. They have an upstairs and downstairs. They also do private events, which a wedding event was going on so the were busy.

The ambiance is beautiful, with a vintage yet elegant feel, a cozy fireplace, and stunning chandeliers. Tessa, the general manager, was warm and welcoming, and our server, Zoe, was kind, attentive, and very helpful in guiding us through the menu. The food was fantastic! I highly recommend the Short Rib Kare Kare, the broccolini, and the award-winning Crispy Shrimp & Corn Patties. For dessert the chocolate Namalaka was a fave!

The crispy shrimp and corn patties were like a crispy takoyaki so actually pretty good and the Mac and caviar was like a cold macaroni salad also pretty good just not impressive for a nice dinner. Was really looking forward to trying their duck confit chilakiles, but they ran out unfortunately. A little surprising since it's many hours before they close. I was considering coming again to try the duck confit, but after trying everything else I'm not sure it's worth the drive here since I'm not from the baltimore area. Their grilled ahi tuna was done well and the sauce was really good. The garlic soy shrimp pancit had good textures and flavour as well. The nori butter tteokbokki was lacking in flavour a little. Missed a bit of acidity to balance out the cream. Desserts were also just okay. I'm usually a sweets person, but I was kind of disappointed. The carrot mochi cake was strange, the texture was good, but the flavours did not mesh well together and I was confused what I was eating. The latiya was dry. The shaved ice was pretty refreshing but not impressing. The Ube flan was good though!

My first visit went smoothly, and the pizza was fairly good. However, I did notice that the customer service could be improved. A more welcoming atmosphere with employees smiling and making eye contact would make a big difference in the overall experience. I decided to give the place another chance and went back for a second visit. This time, I ordered two slices of their bread pizza, and unfortunately one of them had a hair in it. I politely went to the front desk and informed the employee. At first, he seemed to brush it off or not fully acknowledge it, and I had to physically take the hair out to show him so he could see it. He did offer to replace the slice, which I appreciated and accepted, but there was no apology or kindness in the interaction. Situations like that can happen anywhere, but the way they are handled really matters.

Although my waitress didn't ask how I wanted my lamb chops, they were too rare for my liking. So, I didn't eat it and decided I'd cook it more at home. The Mac and cheese was very dry. I didn't eat all of it and did not enjoy the texture. The greens were not good at all. I think wayyy too much vinegar. Oddly enough when I got home I put a lot of hot sauce in it. It enhanced it a little but still not " good". Overall, I was disappointed in my meal and I don't think I would return. Now perhaps they go a little overboard with people checking on you or upselling water preferences or bottomless mimosas (who am I to say, after all). However, their upbeat, information-sharing, food-accommodating efficiency slaps like a big city hotel fever dream! The menu is nicely sectioned into apps, lunch, brunch and sandwiches. I do wish they'd keep the coffee types in their own sections like my favorite cafés so I don't have to weed out such drivel as teas and lesser morning liquid mood enhancers. However, I was thrilled beyond belief that although it wasn't on the menu and the server didn't know what a flat white (my favorite "new" caffeine drink) was, the barista who came over did and their version was fine. Mom and I ordered an eggs Benedict and BLT--both with avocado and a side of modest mayo-y coleslaw with celery seed, a chai latte, flat white and a mimosa (other flavors exist as well). Unexpected treat: On-the-house almond pound cake (from a local bakery) with butter as a starter was SO good! Besides great food, great service and a great price for what we ordered, there are ample rooms and tables inside and out, affording minimal or no wait times and relatively medium noise to carry on a conversation. Notes: In nicer weather dining outside is great--and for special occasions, literally around the corner is Petit Louis Bistro, a Baltimore/Roland Park French food fav! Also, almost forgot: we got two strawberry shortbread cookies to go among several sweet selections from their bakery case!
