MSI has a great selection and isn't overwhelming. We worked with Molly and she had great suggestions for the appropriate materials and color schemes. The products are high-quality and the pricing is reasonable. I have recommended their service to several friends. read more

MSI is my new favorite place! Tons of countertop materials to choose from. Samples too. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Worth the drive. Shadia was super helpful with the quartz selection. She definitely knows her stuff! read more

They have an extensive selection of materials, including tiles, slabs of all sorts, sinks, faucets and much more. It was difficult choosing quartzite counters because of the extensive and beautiful collection. My interior decorator, Stearns Navarro told me they had the best selection and I agree! The salespeople were very helpful and the experience was exceptional. read more

They have a large selection of tile and stone. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have covid19 protocols in place.

Great service, amazing selection, very satisfied from the entire experience. Choosing tile for the bathroom remodeling and countertop for the kitchen remodeling looked to us like an overwhelming mission. With the help of Dharmesh and his crew we managed to select the right materials and match the colors perfectly!! Thank you guys! We'll recommended! read more

MSI - Great selection - Flooring Near Me - San Diego, California

I called them and couldn't hear the man speaking on the other end. I nicely asked if he could speak louder, he asked if it was better and I stated no, then he hung up and I tried calling twice more and it seemed like they were intentionally not picking up my call. Guess they don't want my business:( didn't have any phone issues with any other calls today. read more

We visited MSI as referred by an outside vendor - Molly provided us with support in looking at multiple different stone and engineered stone slabs for us to use for a kitchen and bath remodel. She walked us through the pro's and any con's as it applied to what our needs and expectations might be for the different options. Molly was knowledgeable and helpful. Great Inventory with many options and full slabs to view. We found the experience very helpful. read more

MSI - The beautiful marble pieces are like art pieces! So unique and gorgeous! - Flooring Near Me - San Diego, California

MSI has the best selection of Quartz slabs that we found and we have been to 5 other stone yards. The staff was exceptionally helpful, especially Carlos who took his time explaining laminate flooring to us and even sent us home with samples of the Quartz, backsplash, and flooring that we liked. A definite place to go! read more

They had great selection. The support staff was helpful and quick. Parking was a little tough, but we squeezed in there on a Saturday. Better time to go is during the week. read more

We are undergoing a remodeling project in our kitchen and bathrooms so we've been frequenting MSI. We have gotten to know Destiny, Asim and Carlos pretty well and they have been so helpful. Despite our own indecision, they have been so patient and so willing to help us understand the different aspects to choosing and fabricating our stone products. They recently pulled and displayed the actual slabs that we had purchased so we could get a better idea of how the book-matching would look. After viewing the slabs, we changed our minds and selected a different stone. They gladly changed our order and simply said, "Now is the time to make any changes." Over the years, we have gone to many stone product outlets and MSI has been a great place to get education and to shop! Highly recommended!! read more

Went to MSI to look at stone slabs for my new kitchen counter tops. My first impression was great! We did a virtual check-in so you know they are maintaining social distancing fir safety. Yolanda was so knowledgeable. She took me to the back where I was able to see the actual slabs. What a large selection! I loved using their visualization tool on my phone that put my favorite slabs in my own kitchen. Don't forget to take a photo with your phone before you go. read more

Front girl was not very helpful and seemed to be annoyed and bothered by my questions. Will take my business else where.

Nice showroom. Staff is very courteous. You have to sign in and answer a questionnaire for COVID-19. They have a nice collection of tile. A representative helped us with two samples. We will be getting the material for our project from there. read more

What a great experience we had AND boy do they have a great selection. We had a phenomenal time picking out our tile and Quartzite. Our advisor was exactly the type of person anyone would like to have help them. Molly was terrific and we mean it. Good eye for color, a great sense of design, easy to work with, patient and she made sure we were happy with our selection. MSI has a lot of stone and tile to choose from, a real lot. So, thank you MSI Miramar, thank you Molly, thank you, thank you!!!! read more

MSI manufactures and distributes slabs and tile directly through contractors. I don't think that they sell directly to the public (MSI - please correct me if I'm wrong). You will see a selection of quartz samples on a stand in a majority of cabinet shops in San Diego (or at least we did). Our contractor sent us down there to select a slab. It's a huge facility on the north side of Miramar. It's tucked in the middle of a number of warehouses and you'll need your GPS to find it easily. You register when you first visit so that MSI can send your product details to your contractor. There is no pricing on anything. There is a spread between the retail price and the price that the contractor pays. I'm guessing that the more business a contractor does, the better their price. Some contractors will pass all or a portion of their discount to you. Others may not. Ours did. We ended up making 3 trips for counter material. First, we chose a Porcelain slab. The benefits: inexpensive and potentially bulletproof. The negatives: brittle and not many fabricators can work with it. We had to switch fabricator and then SoCal Counterworks, who we found thru MSI, ended up advising against the Porcelain. 2nd trip: We tried to find a replacement for the porcelain. We found a quartz that was very similar and a gray quartz that seemed like it would be a bargain. It turned out that the gray was the MOST EXPENSIVE quartz in the place. We only found this out after getting a revised bid from SoCal. This after having envisioned it in the space for a week. This is much like getting the letter of acceptance from a college, but not getting the financial package for another 3 weeks. Your son or daughter falls for the school only to find out that you can't afford it. Do you send them anyway or force them to make another choice? We chose to make a 3rd trip: This time we asked one of the reps to give us retail pricing. He did and we picked out slabs ranging from $37 to $22. We ended up choosing the least expensive slab and our contractor discounted the price to us. It all worked out well in the end. If you are going there through your contractor, I would ask the staff to include the retail sq ft pricing whether you are looking at slabs or their extensive selection of tile (unless money is no object). But most everyone has a budget on a project and this will help you make an informed choice. The staff at MSI is knowledgeable and friendly, and the over all experience of shopping there is great. I would not hesitate to recommend MSI. Rick read more

Not selling to homeowners nor will give homeowners a quote. Doesn't make sense. I like how big the showroom is and there's plenty of options. But, what's the point of going when they don't sell it to homeowners. read more

This should not be construed as a negative; only that there are a few glaring deficiencies that should be considered for change. First; the showroom is huge and no allowance has been made for people who just aren't up to walking for those long distances. Craigs list has numerous listings for very economical power carts. One or two of these would enhance their shopping experience. Two; the "sample boards" for backsplash options are too high and not supposed to be removed from their display slot. "Sample boards" have to be easily removed and placed at different angles, next to others and at right angles to sample countertop materials. Third; the slab area could have better directions as to where particular slabs are located. Overall the experience was good, but it could have been so much better! read more

From the moment we walked in- we felt very welcomed. Great customer service, very helpful and friendly. The staffs were very attentive and very willing to provide us with tile samples and pricing. Everyone wore a mask and followed safety guidelines. read more

Customer service here is seriously lacking. All of the people who work here are so rude, both in person and over the phone.

This is the 5th stone company I have been to and by far some of the most attentive staff work here. I had the pleasure of working directly with Khan. His knowledge of their products available and stone in general is superb. He was able to address every concern I had with regarding what stone was best for my kitchen, Quartzite. Without Khan's insight, my dream kitchen would not be coming together so beautifully. Thank you! read more

Went to MSI yesterday to look for backsplash for our kitchen remodel and once again received the BEST Customer Service! Their selections on all products are seriously the best and customer service is always a 10 out of 10. Jonathan Carrizales was so helpful and took the time to really give us good pointers on types of material (there are SO MANY to choose from)! They also recently helped us with outside tile materials we needed to replace in our porch area. You will never be disappointed with selection of materials and customer service at MSI! read more

Very difficult place to work with. They only sell to contractors, and require the license holder (himself or herself) to show up and register with them. Employees and or/agents of the contractor are not allowed. This makes it tough to even get registered. They have a "dealer list" but the dealer locally is Home Depot. Home depot has never heard of them and wont order. So you strike out there too. read more
